genuinely think that things like “talk therapy” or “self help” books can be slightly defective... and maybe even useless when it comes to the healing process.
because the nature of trauma is that its a thing that is PHYSICALLY STORED IN THE BODY….and not a thought form that you could just magically dissipate by thinking it away.

..in other words, when you fall into cycles of hyperintellectualization, you’re basically confirming “yeah i know all of this exists but feeling it is too uncomfortable”. we do this as a response out of a fear of embracing the unknown, except that we STILL always carry these things against our will.

so go for retreats, move to a rhythm until you feel where it hurts most n see it as it melts away, sit in silence, sink ur nails into wet dirt, listen tew a song n see the switches in ur heartbeat, watch a bird and it’s kid having an exchange n just feel.

when you allow things to move and flow, i promise you YOU WILL feel physically lighter n able to think, instead of bogged from stagnancy in accumulating thoughts (thus creating physical blockages).
