You know when you take that time out to "rest" but you still end up feeling like you have worked for an entire day and you think back to the days when you could take a day or two off and feel rejuvenated?
Chronic stress is to blame. We spent all week working, now, we have to catch up on everything that we put off during that time. Not to mention the time we spend scrolling. Even though you may be sitting still while scrolling, it takes your brain an immense amount of energy to process everything coming from that screen.
Put it all down and go for a walk now and again. Your mind and body will appreciate that much more than it appreciates staring at a screen or working all day.
