Appointments tomorrow, and Saturday is a neighborhood work day.  Sorry I’ve been scarce the last couple of days, but I’m still trying to settle my family into the school routine.  Doesn’t help that hubby chose this week to take time off from work.  I mean, not that I’m complaining, ‘cause it’s nice having him around, but it’s just thrown everything into a different flow, and I’m feeling super scattered and irritable.  I just want our new normal to happen now, dammit, and other things keep making it not!  XP

Like fuck how hard is it to comprehend that some guys don't want to fuck girls, some girls don't want to fuck guys, some people are down to fuck multiple genders, some people just aren't girls or guys, and some people don't want to fuck anyone at all?!?!?!?

Another day, another Professor gets blasted cuz they didn't put up appropriate trigger warnings for a movie

I can understand feeling bad and maybe even defensive when your whole class is upset. And I can understand it may be confusing because your previous classes don't even mention they had these issues(although I'm a bit skeptical with these claims cuz rlly? No one brought this up in recent years? Ok-)

But you guys need to learn to just be quiet and accept that forcing us to watch certain movies triggers us. So you as the professor need to take caution and just learn from these mistakes. You are not the only film professor that has had to adjust and been told audiences need warnings. And no one is that mad at you directly, because it's something our society is still adjusting too

Also I don't get why yall choose to just not talk or show the film ever again in your class.

Literally everyone in the course is just saying to put up triggering warnings and timestamps in the future so that some of us could skip over scenes.

Include and emphasize this in your syllabus. You know which movies you plan on having us watch. Don't be vague and say "there's some disturbing content in these movies" actually tell us what to look out for

I'm getting so many ideas for drawings but no time to actually draw...especially since STATE TESTING IS NEXT WEEK FOR ME!! 💔

And another silly thing is.. I want to start posting other stuff for other fandoms I love ( especially Transformers, Murder Drones, and Metal Cardbot ) but I'm just worried that I won't get much attention like my other posts do
