Have you seen the post that posits that the StrexPet is a furby?

Yes and I love it lol!! I mean, I don't think it really is a Furby (something about the specifics of its description doesn't fit all the way to me) but the fact it aligns so much to such a toy probably isn't a mistake.

Not in a 'oh they wanted it to be a Furby' kind of way but in a 'they wanted it to seem like one of those mass market generic species creature toys like a Furby' (like for example, Tattletale or Hatchimals irl) and the fact its a biomachine means it's likely got blood and stuff like Daniel so there's at least that difference. (Or is there?)

Fun fact! I begged for a Furby as a child and finally got one. It was white, and they left it on my bunk turned on so I'd hear it and climb up and get a surprise. I remember finding and enthusing about it aaaaaand nothing else. No memories of playing with it. No memories of leaving the bed with it. No idea what happened to it, though I lived in that house for a good while after. No Furby nostalgia. I'm pretty sure it took a piece of my soul and absconded after near permanently erasing my memory of it's existence. :) Think of that what you will.
