my absolute favorite bird in the world. they're so goofy looking,, all chunky w/ wings too small for their bodies yet they just scale the trees b/c they're too fat to fly. oh my goodness i just want to KISS THEM!!!!!!!1 RRRRRRRRRGHHHHH

today's bird is the kākāpō!

- the kākāpō is the only flightless parrot, as well as the largest parrot in the world

- they are also one of the oldest living birds in the world

- they are ALSO the only lek-breeding parrots in the world

- they look like a kitty cat to me :03
