A progress report on my model kit addiction hobby:
Finished MG Strike Noir! I'll do a shoot later but overall the build was messy (on my part) but the only complaint I have for the kit itself is it being back heavy (which was kinda inevitable tbh)
NIGHTFALL motherfuckers!!! I love this thing so much I opened and built it too quickly to post abt it lol (I'll be posing this one too)
And now my current wip:
Giant train!!! 1/5 done and already realizing the hugitude of this beast of a Megazord once more. This one's just an arm and it's already feelin Big. 00 for scale:
draw me like one of your french gunpla
Here, have a tiny cat boy
The background isn’t Leopard DeVinci, shoosh
Strike Noir Gundam, High Grade! $14.36 :D
Sorry for Strike Noir posting again but I have been hit with divine inspiration for a custom, which is the first time I've actually had an idea for one. After building the MG Strike Noir I've been really bummed that there aren't really any other kits of it, so of course I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I want to kitbash together the torso, head, arms and waist of the HG Destiny and the legs, sideskirts and backpack of the HG Freedom, all of course with a shiny new Strike Noir color scheme. I'll put some pictures below that are serving as my inspiration rn. The only real issue I'm having now is trying to figure out how to give the backpack that strike noir flare, because there aren't really any other seed backpacks that are as tall as the Noir Striker, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Gonna put some money aside in the next coming months so I can afford this project, cause the kits+all the painting materials (as I'm starting from scratch) is gonna come out to around $180 :/ But I'll have a custom HG strike noir after that soooo I think it's worth it
- PHANTOM PAIN -
Finished the Master Grade Strike Noir :] Very very happy with this purchase, this kit has cemented the Noir as one of my favorite suits. Might do a full review when I get all his decals on, we'll see
Got the first (and oldest) Master Grade on my wishlist yesterday :D Very very excited, it's been a pain but coming out good so far
Honestly I was expecting worse for a kit that's almost 20 years old, but it's been fun so far!! (I severely underestimated how much plastic was gonna be in the box though)
