Thank You.

I just really wanted to say Thank You, to all who has sent a kind message checking up on me or helping me through this. It means so much to me. To have people I can trust to share this with, seek advice from or just be in the company of whilst being so conflicted and confused or hurt and angry from the pain of what happened. 

In all honesty, I always grew up thinking I’d always be alone to face what I had to with no help or support. Tumblr has allowed me to meet a few of the most incredible friends and people I could’ve never thought to meet. I’ve learned so much about respecting myself, internalizing their kind voices instead of the abusive ones I grew up with and being vulnerable and trusting because there are the very few people who more than deserve that. People I respect with my entire heart inside out. 

Despite what life throws at me, knowing I’ve had your company or presence in my life makes me feel ever grateful and blessed. I hope I can give something back to your lives too. 

No matter how much darkness or bad there might be in the world, knowing there are lights like you whom exist with your kindness and wisdom inspires me to continue fighting. 

I hope I can be such a light in another’s life in the future as you have been to mine.

Forget (It)

Victims don’t require an apology, Their sorrow is from perspective, As responsibility shouldn’t apply.

Frank Underwood has made you the Secretary of State for his most recent term. However, in exchange for this position and title, you are told that you must convince Congress to declare war with China, Russia, and North Korea. If you resign/refuse or tell others, he will frame you, your friends, and your family for treason. Do you help start World War 3 or do you condemn yourself and those you care about to death or life in prison?

so I’ve spent a few days thinking about this, and I have my answer - I would help start WWIII. Knowing Frank Underwood, he would just find someone else to bend to his will if I resisted, and if I didn’t comply, my friends and family would be punished for it. I would be okay if it was just me, but I draw the line when it comes to hurting my friends and family. If Frank Underwood wants to start WWIII, he will start WWIII, whether I’m on board or not.If I maintain my position of power in the White House, I could perhaps try to mitigate the damage that he causes or try and coordinate with others that disagree with his course of action. It would be tricky, but I would do whatever I could to protect as many people as possible, prioritizing my friends and family first.

You've recently discovered a mathematical formula involving dark matter, uncovering various uses for the phenomena, but it also gives you pause... Although the benefits would matter greatly in terms of clean energy in nearly endless quantities and the use for inter-dimensional or hyperspace travel, it opens the door for people to use it for weapons and bombs, and would trigger a war between countries over the possession and use. Do you share your discovery or hide it from the world?

As I told you last night, I knew immediately which option I would choose. And that option would be to share the discovery. I am a firm believer in truth and openness - especially when it comes to something that would benefit all current and future societies. The ability to produce nearly unlimited clean energy is just too much to hide. It would benefit the entire planet. Plus, the inter-dimensional and hyperspace travel would be super cool.

The war would be a horrid consequence. My hope would be that rational heads would prevail, the war would be short-lived, a reasonable accord worked out, and there would be free, clean energy for all.
