"FINALLY! I can live without having to die!" --@stripestheboar
Small headcanon, but I like it.
When working at his desk, Jon keeps a small bowl of candy corn beside his work, his favorite. It’s something he used to do when he was a professor/psychiatrist; he’d offer some candy to ease the nerves. So whenever someone (friend/henchman/partner in crime), comes in to talk to him alone, he instinctually nudges the bowl towards them without realizing it, and then gets ultra pissy when they actually take some.
Anything you’d like to add to put your own spin on it?
Sorry for the late reply, but that’s heckin cute.
I love the idea of him enjoying vintage candy, like taffy and those orange peanuts, and definitely candy corn. Also love the candy on the desk idea.
I think some of his henchmen buy their favorites and ask him to add it to the bowl so everyone can enjoy, as not all like candy corn.
Heya Jerv, when did you find out you were such a twink?
Jonathan… do you happen to know what a ‘twink’ is?
A distinguished gentleman.
Oh, thank you! Then in that case, I’ve known for quite some time. One should always strive to be a twink where they can!
So it’s only Scarecrow? What happened to Jonathan Crane, then?
SCARECROW: Where did I say only?
Jonathan Crane and the Scarecrow are one and the same. I don’t have a split personality, and I don’t have a poor repressed spirit inside chafing under the brutality of the Scarecrow’s villainous persona.
I am both, and I am whole. The Scarecrow is Jonathan Crane, and vice versa.
@stripestheboar coming at me with the hard hitting questions. [Even if it technically wasn’t for me.]
Aight so Scarecrow has henchmen and whatnot. We all know the typical brutish, big tyoe, but is there any type of henchmen that Scarecrow WON’T accept into his fold? Like does he care if they’re, say, women, maybe a little young, or perhaps racist or transphobic? Is he like “god no I don’t need that for my image” or is it just “muscle is muscle, I’ll take anybody.”
Good question!
I don’t think Scarecrow gets the prime pick of the lot when it comes to goons, probably whatever’s left over from everyone else. I do believe he attracts similar people, the loners and bullied kids. He’s very fair though, pays al his henchmen equally and doesn’t discriminate based on race and sexuality.
But he also doesn’t take any bullshit though, no homophobia and racist remarks or you’re getting injected with toxin.

I most certainly did! Sorry if you sent it last night, I ended up going to sleep at 9 pm my time. [Not an usual occurrence; I was tired, yo.] BUT! I thank you for the cute duck all the same! And the implied birthday wishes with it, aha!
