🔴This week marks my 2nd year #anniversary of being a #Licensed #ProfessionalBarber. I’m thankful for this Facebook memory that popped up because it made me truly reflect & mediate and really appreciate the journey God has placed me on. By doing so that reminded me to always focus more on not how far I have to go on my journey, but how far I’ve came on my journey, after 27 years of being on this planet called earth. It’s amazing how ones Life, circumstances, and situations can change in a 6 month to 1 year time frame by being discipline and having great patience. I am beyond blessed. ♡ I have an amazing little girl. She is so brilliant and has motivated me so much. I have a little boy on the way ( I am excited to meet him soon!) I didn't expect to be doing it alone. But I'm SO glad I am. It's made me stronger. Don't get me wrong. It's hurt. Especially with those lovely hormones being in the mix. But here I am. I'm taking leave from offering readings and mentoring. I help others. It's not something I have to dread. ( like working at Wal-Mart or Walgreens...or waking up at 4am to get ready to walk to work as a barista.) I don't have to be away from my kids. I've got a car. We have our own apartment. I've done a lot of things I didn't think I could have when I was 18 and dropped out of college. I am so thankful for all of the new opportunities over the past few months. I am thankful for the new people I've met. I just wanted to take a moment and be thankful. ♡♡♡ If you're reading this, I hope you're having a wonderful night.

it’s hard for me to imagine my life without ambition.

i wouldn't describe myself as over-ambitious, or a workaholic. i think it’s my never-ending passion, to learn more, and be more, and my also never-ending supply of daydreams. it’s a vicious combination.

i love to learn and grow, and being stagnant and static is definitely one of my worst nightmares. i used to have a friend who never wanted to grow or make anything of herself, and she and her boyfriend were so perfectly content to live off other people’s money. in the 6 years i had known her, nothing had changed. it was one of the many reasons our friendship ended— be around people like that for long enough, and you start to become them. 

because of my imagination and my passion, striving to become a better version of myself is something i have always known and tried to do. i get terribly restless when things get too still.

It’s all about team work 🐟💙💪🏻⁣⁣⁣⁣Stingrays love sardines. When it’s day time, schools of sardines come near the shore area to get protection from their big predators like black-tip reef sharks and giant trevally. Stingrays take this opportunity to try and catch them, but the sardines are so good at maneuvering the attacks!⁣⁣⁣⁣📸 @seefromthesky
