My "form" as others put it is nice to have, it allows me to stop "drawing" cards and start Recalling them at the start of each turn instead. Which, of course, autoplays them and saves energy
Power: Angel Form [3]
At turn start, shuffle all your cards into your discard pile. At turn start recall 5(7) random cards. You can no longer draw cards.
It is truly nice.
But, the one that I'm always most happy to see is
Power: Amnesia [2](1)
All curses gain etherial
It helps me forget what I had done. It doesn't erase my mistakes but... It helps to focus in a fight, at least
// Since servant is blind by technichality, he uses some magic to help him "see" his surroundings. But that doesn't come easily, usualy it requires a lot of energy, so how well he sees something really depends. Outside of battle he mostly relies on his senses of smell and sound, using magical vision as a crutch. Anyway, here is his POV , picturing what he actualy can envision using magic! //
I know that my chains and current rags are punishment for what I have partook in... But I still miss my robes and spear...
The makeshift meteor-hammer that I made out of these chains can hold my enchantments only for a few minutes before they wear off, this is absolutely unacceptable!
// More sketchy one, but its still a short comic! Featuring @da-inkwell again, because I like to think of these two as friends :) ( And I'm not that used to drawing any of the original Slayers yet... )
*he winces at how loud Regent is*
Heir to the stars... please, lower your voice.
*He grunts*
What favor do you have? You better not think that I will obey you as a servant the same way "you" did before. But I am willing to listen still...
// clones make it weird, but regent did do that //
“HEY! Hey there, Kal-Servant! Servant, I said Servant. Do you remember those pink glasses Ozy had? Because we have a SITUATION.”
@ancientblogjimbojames
*The bull hums for a moment, thinking. And then flinches in realization*
THOSE cursed glasses? What did you do with them??? Please don't tell me they are bound to someone... Didn't we instruct you to keep those locked up?
I've noticed you've been free from the tradition of providing your opinions on your fellow slayers.
Let's fix that
Ah, the other ascenders? I didn't know there was already a tradition of sorts... Lets see...
Ironclad is reliable ally, even if he's hard to talk to. Whenever he ascend together I prefer to keep my distance from him, mostly to not get in his way. ( And his flames are... Uncomfortable to be near by. ). I wish I could help him to break the deal with the first Demon, but alas, what he has done is irreversible, from what I can tell.
I rarely climb up with just Silent, not only is it hard to see her, but also lack of sound makes it easy for me to miss her. And I do not trust this huntress enough to be calm when she's out of my sight. I always keep my guard up when I'm around her.
The Regent is a nuisance full of himself. When we first met, he had tha AUDACITY to suggest that I be HIS servant! Besides that, I agree with the Architect's description of him being a "Loud fool". At least his minions can make good company sometimes.
Necrobinder's anger is understandable. She is blunt, which may be rude sometimes, but I appreciate her honesty. Her fire doesn't emit heat, it's actually quite cold when I stand near her. So I don't have much trouble with focusing on actual danger when we are in a fight. We've been to many ascents together, so I know I can easily trust her.
I was wary of Defect at first, but I've learnt that it poses no threat to me. Has a surprisingly soft heart for a construct. Had we not shared the enemy, I would question its trustworthiness, since it does go against its own kind and creator. Albeit, I don't know the full situation between Defect and Architect, but its clear that it doesn't want to hurt him ( or any other enemies on its path for that matter ).
