it’s been a long year but now I’m back on my bullshit and I’m going back to university!
there isn’t much to report - worked in a hotel for a year, applied to 3 MA courses, spent months trying to pick one and now I’m moving to london in a few weeks’ time (it’s not all reading lists and student cards, it’s also zoopla and job hunting, and a permanent low level panic) (this does mean, however, new desk, new view, new libraries all pending!). the course is basically english literature but with a lot of cool stuff thrown in, and the reading list is a lot of fun. this week I’m writing a practise essay so that the first piece of written work I have to submit, like, weird, and I’m also practising getting up at a normal time. it’s been nice to have a year of trying something different but I’ve missed being a student and now we’re back and we’re ready for it all again!
My oral Arabic exams is going to be tomorrow instead of Friday.... And guesswho still needs to study about 17 Pages of Vocab.... Yes, me! But the weather is beautiful and I have a new pretty notebook, so it almost makes up for that.

Now I’m getting used to my cute washi tapes. They were on sale, so I allowed myself to get 5 colors! I wanted to see how see-see-through each tape was, what ink wrote best on it, and how sticky it was. Featuring: My note cards for literary terms. Alexandrine: a line of iambic hexameter.
