1 week til freshers’ week, and therefore only about 10 days until the seminar on this book

Forever grateful for study dates in coffee shops, and mint green teas
found a new favourite spot - look at that ceiling!
nothing like reading with your face in the sun - I think virginia would have agreed (it’s so lovely to be back in her company, 4 years after getting right inside Mrs Dalloway at A-Level. the older I get, the more certain things jump out - her privilege in society is hard to divorce from her creative output, for example, and I’m not convinced by her personal branch of feminism, but nonetheless, it’s an absolute pleasure to get lost in her sentences)
I read these poems so many times for this seminar and I still wish it had been longer to talk about them all - especially o’hara who I think just must have been the most delightful man to encounter
