Happy June 7th everyone!
Today is the official start of the new Wabi-Sabi studyblr challenge from @progressaesthetics. (Thanks for tagging me on my main blog! I’ve been excited to start this!!)
1) What series/movie has been sitting on your watchlist forever? And what is it that keeps pushing it back from being enjoyed?
Okay apologies in advance but... I haven’t read LOTR yet. I know, I know, it’s terrible! I’ve had it on hold at my library for forever, and it’s FINALLY gonna be ready sometime next week I think. So I’ll get to start reading it soon!! I could’ve downloaded a pdf or found another way to read it, but I’ve just had so many other things to read that it hasn’t really been at the top of my priorities list, yknow?
Be happy
Not because everything is good
But because you see the good in everything
keep it up, studyblr babes! U r beautiful, and ure doing great ✨🤘
[14.03.21] ✧ ft me, arriving at the denver international airport for my flight to geneva!
I am currently in Dijon, France, running behind on my blog and on my schoolwork. But I am going to keep going with the zoomster studyblr challenge!
Day 3- Have you done a challenge before? If so, how was it? If not, what are you expecting to get out of this experience?
I have done 100 days of productivity all the way through (and I believe I continued on for another 20 or so days), and then I have started it a few times without completion. I have also done daily-check-in challenges, including recording my mood, if I had taken my medicine/vitamins, etc, and daily gratitudes. I love challenges because they keep me really involved with my blog and my followers!
What is everyone else’s favorite challenges? Comment below!
xx
2020 Quarantine Challenge — Week 1: Questions
Sat - Where in your house is your favourite place to study?
Because of scoliosis, I can't sit at a table while sitting on a regular chair, so my desk isn't an option. My bed is much more comfortable, I can put all my books on it, and I have a piece of wood to put the computer on, that I put alternatively on the blankets, on my legs, on my laps... This allows me to move and not stay in the same posture too long.
I often see the advice "don't study on your bed it'll make you sleepy!", but this doesn't do for me. I'm just used to living in my bed I guess?
Plus it's my safest place ever, when I'm having some sort of panic attack I don't have to move to feel safer, I just take to blanket and put it on me and there! I'm safe! I'm still panicking but I'm good! ahah.
Finally, it has got the window just above it so the light is good, and bonus: I can easily sit on the windowsill to read or take a break!
Though, today I studied between the living room and the kitchen for the first time, and it might become my 2nd favourite place:
studyblr 2020 quarantine challenge - week 1
let’s pretend i’m not nearly as late for this as i am ok cool
Wed - What’s your favourite study snack?
i love those welsh’s fruit snacks, i started this semester with a big box of 80 packs & it’s somehow still standing
Thu - How are you keeping active?
i lowkey haven’t been ? it’s awful i know. if it helps at all, my house has stairs that i climb a decent amount every day
Fri - What is your favourite subject/topic to study at the moment?
i’m really liking the reading we’ve been doing for women’s lit this semester. we just finished reading the handmaid’s tale & now i’m tempted to binge the hulu series
Sat - Where in your house is your favourite place to study?
when i was still at my off-campus house i loved studying at my desk. i’m home with my family now & i don’t have a desk here, but there’s a rocking chair in our living room by an outlet that has a footstool that i’ll use as a makeshift desk
Sun - What are you doing to relax?
i’ve been watching a lot of netflix with my grandma. she recently discovered the magic of netflix, & we’ve already made our way through 2 shows & started a third. (so far we’ve finished the great british baking show & the crown, & we started grace & frankie yesterday)
