100 days of productivity (Day 3)
I got sick so I slept almost the whole day.
The only work I did today was building schema for my database but it got so messy that I deleted it all and redid it. It's so much better to redo something, sometimes, instead of try to make something work.
I feel a little fallen behind in my career, but I'll catch up! Everyone had their own journey. I just need to continue believing in mine, and work hard, and enjoy the process!
It was extremely hot for past one week (like 44 degrees), and idk what it'll be like in 2030s. Global warming scares me.
But then today it rained here 🌧️ which makes it so cozy when you're sick and sleeping.

Tips on Decluttering School Work
I have officially finished my sophomore year of high school, and the week after is the most crucial organizing time for all of your school work. Thinking about just throwing everything in the trash because the school year is over? I would strongly recommend you rethink your decision. A lot of your teachers and professors give you papers you know you will never need again, and that is fine. Throw all those papers out, but they also give you a ton of important pieces of paper that will be beneficial to the rest of your educational career. Here are my basic tips with decluttering your binders and notebooks!
1. Keep all of your general notes
General notes are notes in subjects such as math or bio that you know you will be pursuing. The worst thing to do is to throw away notes either you've made or have been given on basic principles that are the foundation to all your maths classes. Same goes with science, history, and even English. Simple rule - whatever you are taking the next year, keep the notes from the previous year’s class.
2. Use a file folder
This tip is honestly a life saver. Keep all of your work together neatly in one. I only use one for all of my years in high school, so I use envelopes to separate the subjects and year. This way you have everything you need to refer back to in one place.
3. Don't hold onto everything!
If you aren’t planning on taking a class the next year then don't keep the notes. It takes up valuable space and that space can be used for notes you know you will need for years to come.
I really hope this helps some of you who are keen on organizing your notes. These are the very basics, and if you would like more in-depth detail of how to organize your notes (the way I do it) I will be posting a video sometime this week on my youtube channel showing the basics of how I organize everything and go more in depth.

Have a lovely day!
Hi! My name is Marinus, I've been lurking around the studyblr community for ages, and never *really* got into it. So now I'm finally getting around to writing an intro post and all that. Still working on my blog theme and whatnot but I'll get to that.
About me
- I'm 18 years old (turning 19 in August)
- I'm hella queer and polyamorous (I have a lovely fiancée and a really great enbyfriend, and I love them v much)
- He/him pronouns, thank you very much
- ENFP, Slytherin, Leo, Primary Choleric (secondary Phlegmatic), if you find a neat personality test send it my way :p
- I'm Dutch
- Current Major is Teacher English
- Working on my Propedeuse at a University of Applied Sciences so I can then move to University level (it be how the system works here)
- I speak Dutch, German, English, a bit of French, and a bit of Spanish
- my fave colour is green
- I'm religious, I'm a Germanic pagan, which means my gods *almost entirely* overlap with the norse pantheon and I have less lore to work with.
Why a studyblr
For motivation and accountability mostly. The inspo photos are super motivating and the tips and tricks and whatnot always help tons with getting motivated. As for accountability, I have a tendency to procrastinate and I hope that by posting progress here I'll trick my brain into thinking there's peer pressure.

hello!! i’m back i guess?
not sure if anyone noticed lmao but i've been away for some weeks since my life is a mess, and i didn't even begin to post regularly here. I'm still trying to organize myself and my almost nonexistent routine, but it's hard: ((
this is not my diary or anything but i feel like talking about it, so ......
my mom had surgery, her recovery it's taking a while and i had to do everything regarding the hospitalization, bringing her back home, trying to help her feel the less pain as possible and such, taking her to the follow-ups, etc. and between all of it, i met another one of my friends irl!! she was amazing, she gave me belated birthday gifts! we had lunch together in a japanese restaurant and i brought her home to meet my family, she stayed for the night too but :( she got a bit disappointed with me because. i'm not really fond of physical proximity and she does, and like.. it isn't the first time that someone pointed out to me that i seem to be cold/distant, and. you know. truth hurts aha. so ... yeah :/ we had a deep convo later about it and i feel like she's still treating me different, but i'm not sure if i can do anything about it lmfao guess i just suck at having friends then
my classes came back this monday too, i just went one day this week since other things happened too! i donated blood for the first time ever !!! but i didn't know that i had to be well-fed and well-rested (i knoooow, it's really obvious to me now, but :( yeah), so as soon as i leaved the hospital i passed out aha it was really stressful day, and i'm recovering from it since i'm still feeling a bit weak ..
but !!! i'm still planning to post a bit of my study routine regarding my classes, the books i'm reading/finished reading and the tiny bits of my never-ending language studies here so!! see you guys soon i hope
Studying for my exam tomorrow... its the retake so i hope i do fine this time ( the first time a had a very high fever and it didnt go so well haha)
How is your evening going?
