it’s never easy to start again
In December, I took my final degree exam, which was an oral exam of 21 courses divided into three questions, one from each big area.
I passed two out of three exams so I have to retake the third one in March.
I spent five and a half years studying my degree and eight months preparing for my exams. During that time, I worked since my third year, was involved in politics, volunteered at my faculty, travelled to The Hague for a moot court at the ICC and worked as an assistant investigator on some research projects. Despite all this, I still feel my results are a failure.
It’s difficult to sit down and study the same material even if it’s less than before, it’s hard to see my study buddies finally free while i feel like i’m still trapped
but all the ways are good, and this is mine.
