[10.03.22] ✧ I started an etsy shop y'all

Oh my gosh, what a whirlwind of a year!

I feel like I haven't given my tumblr much love lately, but here I am still trying to create!

I am in the deep depths of my thesis research, and in the midst of all of that I very intensely wanted to start an etsy shop with all of the photos I have collected over the years. I have traveled to 41 countries and lived in five, and it felt like a missed opportunity to not share those photos. Life updates: I am back in Geneva, working everyday as a part-time nanny! I take care of three incredible kids. It is really rewarding work, and even though it has been difficult to make ends meet money-wise, I find it really rewarding (and it keeps me moving)! I visited Colorado two times at the beginning of the year, and those long flights now are just unbearable. Even then, the time I spent with my family was really incredible (and my partner came with me for Christmas!)!

Uni updates: Even while working and managing QISA, I have maintained really great notes in all of my classes. ✨ I am really happy to see the work I do pay off. I am now working on my thesis on the influence and relationship between new age philosophies, esoteric knowledge, and planetary synthesis in modern diplomacy. I routinely do fieldwork with a spiritual New Age-based NGO in Geneva and their UN representatives, which has been incredible work! It is a topic I am so passionate about, and I absolutely love my ethnography. I am also auditing a course (to get me to campus on Thursdays) and my professor is teaching about public moralities and the intersection of gender and sexuality - it makes me so happy to be in a queer course!

Love updates: Lucie and I hit ONE YEAR in February! Can you believe it! What the heck! <3

Health updates: I have been seeing a therapist routinely now (on BetterHelp) for about 5/6 months, and I have felt like so much has improved in my life. Finally, I have unpacked and navigated through so much family-related and relationship-related trauma. As someone with more than enough to work through (bipolar, borderline, anxiety, & panic disorder) I have never felt more gentle and understanding with myself. All good things! How are all of you doing? I miss talking to my tumblr friends, so comment your updates if you'd like to share! Also, does anyone have anu suggestions for spring tumblr challenges? ~*~*~In need of inspiration~*~*~ That's all from me for now - sending positivity your way ✨

how do people write so long posts under they photos? my mind goes blank as soon as I open the keyboard, oops.

umm, so, one of my very few new years resolutions is to learn Japanese and I'm at hiragana back again but this time I'm writing by hand and so far so good, hope I can keep up

and on photos are my city and my journals, upper one is bujo and lower is journal from flying tiger cause I still suck at this and didn't want to use expensive things (cause I'm broke is main reason)
