Showing these off because I'm so proud of both! Both of these are my own design and one of them, the Toasted Pecan Shawlette, is out on Ravelry for the low low cost of free! The Lyria Galaxy Shawl will release on Monday and the price will be....you guessed it! Free!

These are both designed for yarn that has been dyed exclusively for each shop as part of a Twin Cities event happening. If you live here and are participating in the Shop Hop, the first design (Lyria) will be at Amazing Threads. The other design is at a store not in the shop hop, but they have their own event going on called Pop! Shop! You can check that out at beWoolen!

I am proud of these shawls because they both had their own challenges. The Toasted Pecan one was done in about 36 hours and was an on the fly thing that happened because I may have Fucked Up. The Lyria one was so hard because shawl math sucks 😭

Bought myself a lovely library card art piece for Nero Wolfe, and the artist (etsy here) sent me a second one for free!

They arrived the same day as the stunning dress clips I ordered the same day from a different person. I want to shine up the dress clips a bit, as I think they could use a scrub, but I don't know what to use. We have a sonic cleaner, but I worry the vibrations might knock loose a stone that's holding on fine as is. Although, at least if it fell out in the sonic bath, I could find it, which would be better than if I were cleaning it by hand, I suppose. Anyone. If anyone knows how to clean 1920s jewelry, let me know.
