Kinda whack how Maxis is making Simmers pay extra money for cultural diversity instead of including new features in the monthly patches/updates.
Well... I caved and finally bought all the stuff packs. It’s only because they were on sale for around $7.00 each.
honestly a lot of the stuff just looks like recolours of stuff that came in other packs/base game...
and yes, i know, i know, this isn’t new and EA have been doing it for ages but it just seems REALLY apparent this time around
the leather jacket? and the patterned male sweater? those are VERY similar to CL clothing. the moschino long shirt we already got for free. the swimsuit is literally a recolour of the base game swimsuit. the black and white dress is also very similar to a CL dress.
yeah there’s some decent looking buy mode stuff but this it’s called moshino stuff? shouldn’t the CAS content be the main drive in this pack? i mean they did the same thing with cool kitchen stuff so idk what i expect at this point

If we analyze it, it turns out that the main thing was not the “last installed” addon, as it is now, but the base game itself, and EPs were what they should have been in their name - “expansion” of the BASE game, such as Happy Holidays SP. Yhis means that the game had to be run using exe of base game, not "last installed" addon.
This turns all ideas about the game!

Is there hope for the Moschino Stuff Pack?!
This morning I was wondering what type of items we’ll get with the upcoming stuff pack. Like many of you, my expectations have been low. If you google “Moschino” you see some pictures from their fashion shows, and the creations are.. unique.. but also.. uh.. a bit horrifying? And not in a cute spooky way.
But out of curiosity, I decided to poke around their actual website and on their e-shop side there is stuff that has potential! So I figured I’d make a collection to show you all. Also Sims DLC is the closest I would ever get to buying this stuff because holy crap look at those prices.
Keep in mind I’m only showing the stuff that seems like it could make for good DLC. Unfortunately I have no clue what EA will actually use. There were many items I didn’t care for. Also I don’t love the big “MOSCHINO” printed on stuff but at least that would be pretty easy to edit out. 😉
I hope you guys like this collage! I know we shouldn’t get our hopes too high but I’ve got my fingers crossed that this is the direction they’ll go in!
