Are you skipping the "leave it in a drawer untouched for a few weeks to get some critical distance before editing" phase?

I’m not sure yet, but that sounds like something I’d do, because I am obsessive.

However!

1) I may have reached 50k, but NaNoWriMo is not over yet!

2) My draft isn’t done. There are a few key scenes and an Act III conflict I need to introduce before I’ll be done with the writing part. That has to happen before I even start on editing. Haha.

it’s not actually a fanfic, though! wizard people, dear reader is a fanwork, i suppose, but it’s actually an “audiobook” dub of the first HP film. it’s not unproblematic but parts of it make me sick from laughing. the tag on tumblr is small so i just went through the whole thing :)
