vintage stunt performer polls!
I will be running three tournaments: Vintage Movie Stuntmen, Vintage Movie Stuntwomen, and Vintage TV Stunt Performers. I plan to run them in that order, but I will be opening submissions periodically for the later polls while the first poll is still running. Vintage, for this blog, means their stunt work has to have been performed between 1910 and 1970. I would prefer if your submission has been in more than one movie, more than two TV shows, or had a notable, memorable part related to their stunt work.
Feel free to submit propaganda! I prefer propaganda that has sources (ex. the link where you read it, the interview where you found the info, the movie the clip is from) as I don’t have time to track down various quotes and facts, but I also accept stories and opinions (ex. My dad worked with this guy once and he was nice, watching this stunt blew my mind when I was little).
If anyone wants to get into the mechanics of how some of these stunts were done, please do so! I count that under propaganda as a celebration of their work.
