The Netherlands had a great idea. A great idea to make lots of money. He wouldn't be able to sign divorce papers like that, but Ned had a new idea. A potentially worse idea, because this was a riskier plan, but sometimes you have to risk it all to win. So one night, Ned placed his tiny husband in a secret compartment, in a box, in a closet. He would fake his husband's death, and with Germany "missing" Ned would be able to collect life insurance @germanysgooglehistory
