VeggieTales Revitalized: Animators Needed!!!
Since 2023, it's been our goal to reanimate "Tales from the Crisper", the first half of "Where's God When I'm S-Scared" from VeggieTales. We need animators, and the amount of parts are getting fewer and fewer, so apply while they're still available!
If you want to know more about the project, or you want to learn how to participate, watch the video below to get started:
(If you need the transcript for the video, click here.)

Some addendums: we no longer accept applications for 3D/CGI/Blender animations that use show-accurate character models. If you want to animate a part in that medium, you may do so only with stylized/show-inaccurate character models. We're not a Remolded clone. Note the amount of unique visual styles for that medium shown in the video. We strive to achieve the visual variety with Revitalized what Finn did with the Biscuit Silly Song reanimated project.
We also finally have enough people on the team to open up smaller parts! Whether you have a time-consuming animation style, a busy schedule, or a secret third thing, half-parts are the perfect way to participate! If your animation application is accepted, you have the option to claim a whole part (approx 13-20ish seconds long) or up to two half-parts (5-12ish seconds long) at a time, as long as the half-parts are right next to each other.

WATCH NIMONA. GUYS.
Spoiler free list of reasons
- Nimona works as both an INCREDIBLE trans and neurodivergent allegory
- explores suicidal ideations, and does it REALLY WELL
-LOOKS COOL. I get the criticism from the people used to the comic’s art-style, but you have to admit that visually the movie is STUNNING in its own accord
-STUNNING THEMES and story, can’t really elaborate a ton and still be spoiler free but just, trust me on this
-extremely obvious and pre-established gay relationship that is INCREDIBLY CUTE AND HEART WRENCHING OH MY GOD I ADORE THEM (the MAIN CHARACTER TOO.)
-FOUND FAMILY.
-Main character has a prosthetic arm!! Like dang cool robot arm dude
-It ends on the main character screaming “holly shit” except it’s cut midway trough shit which makes me so giddily for no reason and would sell me tbh
People really hate stylized artstyles, don’t they?
Sisu’s design is a bit bland, but it’s not nearly as bad as everyone says. Could it be better? Yeah, but I still like it.
People want her to look more “realistic”, or complain about her having Disney Same Face syndrome, but I’m not seeing it. Her design is fine.
I’m just tired of the seeing same couple of criticisms over and over, acting like this is the worst thing ever. It’s annoying.
😎
Me and my roomies did this silly little thing for something called Loopdeloop... (people can submit anything animated as long as: 1) it loops 2) follows the selected theme, this time being “shoes”!)
We even won at the screening in London yay
@louiebonbon did the storyboard, sound and edit, Ditte Wad did design, backgrounds and compositing while I did the animation ;)
MOTION MONDAY (8/13/18): Book Trailer!
This has been one of my big summer projects, and I’m excited it’s ready--please enjoy and share! Also see more at the updated thundercluck.com.
Thanks! - Paul
