One of our favorites is Grian as an animate doll - a boneless plush toy who can swap between a number of sewn bodies depending on what he wants for the day. Some details I use: Grian's true form is a smaller doll, about the size you would expect, kind of in the vibe of a teddy bear or a Raggedy Ann doll. He can make something a viable body using sewn cloth "hearts" made from his original original form, which now no longer exists. He shares damage with his truebody, and if either the one he's in or the truebody die, they respawn together. If you're looking for fics with this, I have quite a few, and one of our other admins used the idea for a fic about the season 7 base swap!
