I do freelance editing work, with three options on the table:

I do review and analysis work, where I provide you with a feedback report covering the broad strokes of my thoughts, as a reader, on your work. Good if you want some quick thoughts on your whole work but nothing too substantial (or pricey!)

I also do substantive editing -- this is the big picture, intensive kind of stuff. Depending on the package you get, you’ll get variable amounts of feedback, but all of it will be more intensive than the reader-response style comments from the review gig; instead, it will be focused on structure, plot, character, and other literary elements of your work, and how to improve it in your manuscript. This is the option for people that want to really make sure they’re more prepared to take their work to the professional level.

Finally, as a queer reader, I do sensitivity reading for works that include or focus on queer experiences or characters.

Currently working on draft 5 of my as yet untitled elven romance novel set in my fictional world Aura.

Substantive editing is such a pain. Yes, this scene works better here, but now I have to remember the order of conversations and figure out how much each character knows at this time 😒
