1) I can write really well! I love developing characters and stories

2) OKAY I KNOW………..but honestly I’m proud of graduating cum laude and being in academic honor societies and doing really well on my SATs lol

3) I’m really understanding and I genuinely like to listen to people/have them confide in me, and give advice, and be supportive

4) maybe no one agrees but obviously my sense of humor and my Taste in pop culture is impeccable

Hi! Just dropping in to say I loved your YOI narrative meta a lot. You hit every single point that frustrated me about the finale. Honestly I felt a bit betrayed by the tumblr fandom that no one was ripping the finale to shreds because it was just....a mess with some nice pair skating (I did love that I'll give it that) and all my IRL friends were frustrated by the finale too. So thank you so much for putting into words everything I was feeling!! It must have taken forever to write that up lol

I was honestly surprised and a bit shaken by how positive of a reaction the finale got. I watched it with a RL friend who was equally frustrated and we talked about how lacking it was for hours afterwards. Getting on tumblr after all that and seeing everyone celebrating and saying it was “everything the fandom ever wanted” was...quite the experience.

Yeah, writing all that kinda took over my life for a little bit ^^; but it was worth it. Helped me deal with my feelings. And if it gives some comfort to other people in the minority who loved the show but felt disappointed by the finale, I’m glad. We’re not alone.

(Pair skating was really pretty though!)
