Got back from my walk and said “I’m just going to sit down for ten minutes before I make dinner”

Sat down and my cat instantly jumped up on my lap and is now asleep. Guess I’m eating late tonight

My cat has to wear an E-collar and I’ve been calling him my tiny little Elizabethan

I bought my cat a harness. I’m so excited for it to get here! We’re going to go on so many walkies!! I hope he likes it.

I got home late tonight (like 5 hours late) and I felt really bad because I hadn’t planned to be that late and my cat hadn’t had his supper yet. So I fed him and sat down on the couch (because he won’t eat downstairs if I’m upstairs). And he keeps checking on me, walking from the kitchen to the living room and back to eat, takes a few bites and walks back into the living room. I’m not sure if he’s making sure I’m still there, trying to be social, or what. Someone who has more knowledge of cats tell me why he’s doing this. All I know is it’s adorable.
