my hot take is an absurd number of songs from Suessical the musical apply to Cloudward, Ho

“Anything’s Possible” - Olethra’s whole deal/the idea of being sky eyed

“Alone in the Universe” - The characters who believe in Zood before it was proven

“Solla Sollew” - The idea that finding Zood will solve all of the characters problems (also pre zood being found)

and maybe it’s just those three songs, but three is still more than it should be… also you can relate basically anything Jojo does to Olethra or Maxwell depending on the angle you want to take and the plot point (the whole parents sending their child to war plotline being the Gotch’s trying to make Max not a rowdy)

Nothing is as buzzy as musical songs that have a darkness behind them. Like I can’t explain it but they have a sinister vibe and omg those are the best type of songs.

You also know it’s good when it’s a Roald Dahl story turned into a musical. There will always be at least one sinister song.
