What’s your favorite horror movie and/or short-film?
Rules: list 1-5 of your favorite horror movie(s) and/or short film(s). If it’s a short film, list the company/people(s) that posted it. They don’t have to be in order, but they can if you want. If you don’t like horror, list your favorite suspenseful scene in a movie. Then, tag 7 or more mutuals.
1. A Quiet Place, 2018 - The concept is so freaking good, and the use of sound (and the lack thereof) is freaking genius. Also, the design of the monsters is absolutely amazing. Props to the designer(s).
2. The Herd, ALTER, 2019 - My god, to this day, this was the most disturbing video I have watched. It’s an amazing work of blood-soaked art and I fucking love it. Side note: if you do watch it, watch it alone. Viewer discretion is advised
3. The Armoire, ALTER, 2019 - For me, this is the one that started it all. This was the first horror short film that I ever watched (not counting the legendary “Lights Out” short), and it did not disappoint. It wasn’t the scariest, or the longest, but by god, the directors knew how to build suspense.
4. Teeth, ALTER, 2019 - This one was especially good, partially because it was all hand-animated. The other reason, was that it was narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Richard E. Grant. The other, other reason is that it was obviously a very disturbing story. What would horror be, if not disturbing?
