how abt educational systems in Alternia.......???¿¿?
i’ve talked abt it a tiny bit in the past !!
basically i tend to think schoolfeeding is a thing forced mostly on psionic lowbloods, because a) they’re powerful so propoganda is rly important to drill into them and b) psionics are pretty useless without a honed brain
whereas school for highbloods tends to be more like what a private school would be on earth, you gotta pay to go there, they probably teach religion and also dumb stuff like muscle art appreciation, archery, musclebeast taming, riding, and muscleback sports
highblood and sea dweller academies are always separated bc of u kno. The Race Thing and bc they’d teach different stuff; sea dweller academis would teach laser harpoon marksmanship, seahorse and related animal training... basically i guess like land dweller highblood stuff but even more pretentious and just a little bit fishy
i have one sea dweller ancestor who went to a highblood academy just bc he was really good at baskillball so the highblood government gave him a sports scholarship to make sure he didn’t end up playing for those waders
