Oh hey! It's been a while and I'm trying not forget how to draw. Here's lil Sally for u all Oh and it's my birthday today btw~
This is such a fire panel i almost CRIED reading this. It's such a cathartic thing to hear.
I saw this post about how Ciel and Sieglinde aren't found family cause she essentially exchanged one oppressive structure for another that's going to keep using her to make weapons and Ciel helped faciliate that. I think that's a very profound and real point and I agree with it very much considering this is the "who is your favorite war criminal" series.
However i do also want to talk about how (IMO AT LEAST) what Ciel said here feels... very genuine oddly enough. Like yeah he's still taking Sieglinde away to well. Still be used. I think it's obvious when Ciel is lying or using manipulation tactics, either he says so in his narration or he always... takes this sweet smile, like calling Sieglinde "friend" when he and sebastian say they're gonna leave after she refuses to go the first time. But this moment felt truly genuine, like he was angry she was put through all of that... It wasn't as if he had to say that to win her over. She already wanted to go w him cause she wanted to see the outside world. Regardless of these things he says, she'd listen to him anyways cause she likes him. This sentence wouldn't have benefitted him technically, he said it cause he was pissed. AM I TWEAKING am i making shit up and just being too silly.
There are these moments Ciel has where he's genuine and compassionate and has a sense of... justice? Oddly enough. He always denies it and calls himself a selfish and self righteous person, but it's these moments that really soften him up...
If im wrong and this statement can be taken as anything else, please do tell me in the comments I hate misinterpreting characters and lying.
OMG OMG Look at this sweet lil’ bean!! 😍
I reeeaally want the whole season to be done now so I can finally see this tiny girl in action!
