To make sure this is directly stated: I am a queer individual, and my beliefs and philosophy are innate and instilled into all of my work, especially when it comes to my runes and the entire practice of working with Sul'voth symbols and imagery. The entire project and language is meant to be inclusive, and is for the accessibility and empowerment of folks from all walks of life, regardless of gender identity or race. I state this, because I've noticed a small uptick in white supremacist attention, and since I've been in this online space for so long, I can also acknowledge that the occult and spiritual communities have an issue in this regard.

Sul'voth contains absolutely no hate symbols, and I will personally call out and speak out against any attempts to corrupt these symbols I have made.

For those who follow me, you have my full permission to firmly tell these fucking fascists that they are not welcome, and that these symbols are loving.

Sul'voth Lexicon Progress

The long awaited linguistic lexicon of Sul'voth is well underway progressing very swiftly. I won't promise a date but... this year.

As for the actual release method, I'm currently thinking there will be two variants:

The First, a free download version covering the entire language. For the sake of accessibility and for the lexicon to be spread, I think it'll be nice to have it just available for folks who want it. This is also more in-line with how conlangs are usually released.

The Second, more advanced version will be featuring illustrations, more in-depth examples, and more content in general. This version will be a pay-to-own format to give me some direct support artistically, and will be well worth it.

There will, of course, be tons of posts and teasers as we come nearer to the nebulous date. Cheers! Be blessed and walk with the Void.

Zol Si'ira Omni'isa Sul'voth.

The Sul'voth Ritual Sigil.

A day of prep and measurements to make sure my own altar piece here is going to be as in needs to be. The aim here was to create a single design for the Sul'voth practitioner as a staple and usable tool in spiritual practices.

Most importantly, I wanted to have it be personalized for each, so 8 of the 9 outer rings will remain blank in my posts, as these can hold whatever runes the practitioner wishes to channel most.

I've had thoughts of writing a new book this year, aiming to have a big section of this specific seal there too!

Lastly here are two sketches, the final and initial ideas for this sigil.

Zol Si’ira Omni’isa Sul’voth.  The Sul’voth Ritual Sigil.  An arcane seal used by the Sul’voth practitioner that focuses magical forces, and acts as a central aspect to an altar or practicing space.  Pictured here is the basic required forms, before any personalization and embellishments. These can of course take form of different colours, line thicknesses, line stylings, or anything else the maker wishes. 8 open circles line the outer ring, and are intended hold a practitioner’s chosen 4 Sul’voth runes that they aim to focus on. To keep in line with Sul’voth symmetrical traditions, the 4 chosen runes are mirrored horizontally in the outer circles, but still face inwards towards the center.  These seals are used as an altar piece, acting as a channel for energy and casting, as well as a place that can hold offerings. Use is much more tied to the practitioner’s intuition once they have completed their own sigil by filling in the missing runes. 

The required runes in this design are Ish, Ual, Gol, Mul, Olk, Sar, and Nol. Meanings are as they are listed in The Dirokvul.  The two words of power that are included here are “ Vodu’ulk ” (Spiritual energy), and “ Thur’fus ” (Force). 

I included some more simple jpgs with only the line work for those who wish to make their own ritual sigils, while the designs could be used printed in theory, it is not advised, I highly recommend the practitioner to actually create upon a surface their own seal, be it on cloth or board, the more intent and energy you put into your sigil, the more you get out of it.  I used a 12″ circular wooden panel and paints to make a solid base for mine, and will be stylizing the symbols and lines further for myself.  Best of luck, speak with power.  Dala ul’vok thu’urku.

Hey! I'm a DM for a few groups of friends and was wondering if I might be able to use your language in my world? The detail and idea behind each of the runes and the power that they can hold is something I find absolutely astonishing and I'd like to share that wonder with my tables. Hey there, I specifically wanted to post this one because it’s a question that gets asked fairly frequently. As I DM and play a lot as well, I make Sul’voth runes prominent in the worlds and characters I create. That being said, I do ask that if you are using them in your game, it will only be allowed if the games are not streamed and/or professionally run. It’s important that Sul’voth still remains my own project, and that it is properly respected. So if they are just personal games played with friends, and you let them all know these stipulations as well, then absolutely! And thank you for the kind words! when is the font dropping, good sir?!

I'm reluctant to actually put out an available font for public use, it's a little touchy on how much people would be able to make documents almost identical to mine. This is mainly to make sure things stay consistent, and the way I need. Individuals are of course welcome to write out and use the runes for personal use as they wish. I am however working on 2 new Sul'voth books right now, and a few other surprises to come in due time. This being said, I'm also overhauling the two ttfs that I use to type in Sul'voth. At the very least, the new books will look even sharper and a little nicer than the Dirokvul.
