So fun fact about Greenland: It has had protest music that has specifically called out imperialist stuff along the lines of what Trump has been talking about for nearly 50 years. Sume, a prog-rock band from the early 1970s, was so successful at getting its message of cultural independence across that 1 in 5 homes in Greenland owned its debut album, Sumut. It singlehandedly started the conversation about home rule that helped create more autonomy for Greenland starting in the late 1970s. There’s even a documentary about the band.
