The Sun Fae
The highest species of Fae. Usually have yellow or golden fur, with yellow, red, or orange hair. Their Fae affinity is light. Sun Fae are usually nobles, or part of the royal family, but few live in lower classes. The Sun Fae are mostly described as snobbish, as they see themselves as above other Fae. The Sun Fae, like the kitsune, believe that only the purest of blood are fit to live in society. There has been several instances in the royal family where half-Sun Fae are given royal titles or at least duchies to rule over.
Halin is one such exception to the blood purity rule, as they were born of a Moon Duchess and a Sun Prince, making her a royal hybrid. The Queen Regent, her grandmother, allowed Halin into the line of succession, even though she was the only hybrid out of their half-siblings. She had 6 siblings before her, all boys, and was passed the title of princess and a royal duchy once she came of age.
