Sundad and Sungod

Mine and @owlygems sun OCs. This is just a scribble I made real quick while working on an old sketch that I made of Sundad (when that will be done idk). I was just going to practice drawing SD because I have no practice drawing fat people but it just ended up being him creeped out by SG (and one of him with iris’s that are supposed to look like mini suns)

i feel that i have come to love my morning father

the father that wakes up grinning

the father that folds the sheets after stretching and yawning as the sun comes up,

the sun that says hello to our home. 

i love my morning father,

the father who stirs his coffee in the morning with a chopstick

the father who takes a little walk in the backyard each morning,

admiring our modest little blackberry plant.

i talk to my morning father,

the father who sings to “uptown funk” on car rides to school

the father who tells me to have a good day before rolling the car window back up.

but lately i have noticed

that as the sun changes its course through the day

my father changes with it
