a/n â for @okwonyo âs event! just realized that my title matches the event name LMFAO
you werenât a going-out kind of person. your boyfriend knew that, he knew that better than anyone.
so why was he waiting outside your house in a tuxedo?
âi thought we werenât going out today?â you ask.
he smiles, eyes crinkling at the sight of you in pajamas. you had cleaned yourself up of course, but you thought he would be in his pajamas, not in a suit and tie with a bouquet of flowers in his hands like you were going on an expensive date.
âitâs valentineâs day!â he invites himself in, taking off his shoes, âi have to dress nice for my girlfriend!â
he pinches your cheek, which you squirm at his grip. offering you the flowers, you accept them graciously with a quick peck on his lips as a thank you. wrapping your arms around his neck, his warmth engulfs yours, letting you sway side to side for a bit.
âsunoo youâre going to get your tuxedo all dirty from the flour.â you frown, pulling back to admire the cleaned up version of him you didnât really get to see a lot. of course he always looked good, but damn did he look extra good today.
âlike what you see?â he asks, a teasing smile planted on his face.
rolling your eyes, you break out of his grasp, leading him to the kitchen to start baking the cookies.
turns out, sunoo is a horrible sous chef.
instead of actually helping you get the right ingredients, he had devoted his time to covering you with flour.
you could feel droplets of powder dripping off your face as your arm tires from using the electric mixer. as disgusting as you felt you knew that these cookies would be worth it in the end.
âwant some help, is your arm tired?â he takes the mixer from your hands, stirring the cookie dough around and around.
smiling, you mutter a âthank youâ before leaning your head on his shoulder, wiping off any flour that couldâve gotten on his tuxedoâthough half of it has been powdered white, because he refused to wear an apron. watching his lips, you see how the corner of his lips turn at the sight of you stare so lovingly at him.
he doesnât say anything but you know heâs watching you too. planting a kiss on his cheek, you turn your attention to the batter instead.
âyou missed,â he says. stopping the loud electric mixer, the world sounds quiet, just for a moment.
âwhat?â
before you can comprehend anything else his lips are on yours.

sunoo gasps happily when the staff reveal that the reward is mint chocolate ice cream. next to you, sunghoon groans about how itâs the worst flavor. but sunoo doesnât mind, excitedly grabbing a spoon.Â
âitâs the worst flavor!â jay complains.Â

âcan i try some?â sunoo nods, placing the spoon down. you lean over and press your lips against his, tasting the ice cream from his mouth. when you pull away, you lick your lips and contemplate for a moment.Â
âi think i like it.â sunoo blushes, reaching back for the previously discarded ice cream. next to him, niki laughs.Â
âare you blushing?â he teases.Â
âshut up,â sunoo mumbles. âi just⌠wasnât expecting him to kiss me.âÂ

A â´ ATTENTION
He didnât like to pay too much attention and seem too keen of a friend, but that was hard for Sunwoo. He wanted to take care of you and look after you, even when others were around you, he was still wary.
B â´ BICKER
Both of you are childish when youâre together, and so bickering feels pretty inevitable with the two of you. You canât help yourselves but get snappy and cheeky at each other, neither of you really listen to what the other person is saying, instead you just go on and on, usually having to struggle to catch your breath.
C â´ COMFORT
Heâs incredibly understanding, making Sunwoo the perfect person to go to when you need comforting. He knows exactly what to do to be able to help you and knows when you want to talk to him or when you want to listen to him so that he can try and give you some advice on how to solve things.
D â´ DISAGREEMENTS
Most of the time you disagree because Sunwoo finds it almost impossible to make up his mind. You want an answer, but he can never quite give it to you, weighing up his options for hours sometimes as he tries to decide. The argument usually comes from your impatience of waiting for Sunwoo, usually having to shout or kick off to eventually get him to make up his mind so that you can finally go somewhere.
E â´ EARLY YEARS
Meeting as a part of a group meant that the two of you didnât really talk to each other for a while, but as soon as you did, you just hit it off. There was something about Sunwoo that just clicked with you, and he was drawn to your personality straight away, neither of you could quite put your finger on what it was that slotted together for the two of you, but both of you were pretty glad that it had done.
F â´ FAMILY
His family struggled to remember a time when you werenât around quite a lot of the time, they had known you for so long, you always just seemed to be there. They very much treated you as if you were part of the family after how long you had been around, it just felt right for them when Sunwoo showed up at home with you there, or if they gave him a call to see that you were there and visiting him.
G â´ GETTING TOGETHER
Most of the time the two of you would stay in when you hung out, but when you had loads of time on your hands, youâd do something. Neither of you saw the point of going out just because, but if you had somewhere to go then youâd plan it properly, mostly to make sure that you were left undisturbed.
H â´ HABITS
The two of you had a habit of pulling a funny face whenever your eyes met. You just loved finding a way to get a laugh out of the other person, especially when you were in a bit of a serious situation, youâd try your best to get the other one into trouble by pulling an expression that you knew theyâd laugh at.
I â´ INSIDE JOKES
Both of you had plenty of inside jokes, you struggled to remember all of them quite a lot of the time together. One of you would usually end up bringing a joke up, and then having to explain it as the other forgot what the joke was, needing their memory to be jogged before they could laugh about it too.
J â´ JEALOUSY
He tried his best to always smile when he was around your other friends, and if any of them made him jealous, Sunwoo would try his hardest to not let you or anyone else see how he was feeling. Everyone else thought that Sunwoo was polite, but you could quite often tell when you caught him out of the corner of your eye that he was feeling a little bit threatened by the friends of yours around him.
K â´ KICKS
Sunwoo got a kick out of seeing the world with you and being able to make memories with someone. He didnât enjoy exploring alone, as long as he had someone with him, he was usually pretty happy, but there was one person more than anyone else that he wanted to go around with, and that was you.

He loved how well you got him and how you were always by his side. Sunwoo knew that you knew the right answer to just about every situation when it came to Sunwoo, and how it didnât matter how stressed he was or how bad the situation was, youâd be there with him and helping get either out of the situation or trying to help Sunwoo calm down so that he doesnât get himself into any harm.

The two of you met when you were both a part of the student council at school. You took a seat next to Sunwoo at the very first meeting, and those spots ended up becoming your seats for the year, where the two of you talked about everything for the school, and a lot of nonsense when others werenât listening too.

There was never any worry in Sunwooâs mind when he was with you, he knew that he could do absolutely anything around you, and youâd never make him feel bad or question what he was doing, no matter how silly.

Both of you in your bedrooms had a photo frame, with the very first photo that the two of you took together inside. It was something that Sunwoo gave you the first time that he had to go away and leave you back at home, and ever since then it was something that you kept hold of, as he did with his as well.

Having your support is usually something that gives Sunwoo butterflies, and the extra push that he needs. Although he tries to act a little unbothered by it around you, on the inside he canât help but get excited knowing that youâre cheering him on and proud as you watch him continue to perform on stage.

Whenever he had time off, Sunwoo usually arranged to do something with you. Even if at times your trips would only be around Seoul, he still liked to at least do something to be able to see you for a little while.

âyouâre so pretty.â the words fell from your lips, prompting your boyfriend to pull his attention away from the film you had started just under an hour ago. his gaze softens as it falls to you, corners of his lips turning upwards as he sees you; leaning your titled head on the palm of your own hand, your elbow stabilising itself on the back of the sofa.
sunoo moves from his seat, his face dangerously close to your own as he inspects every inch of it, resting the urge to kiss ever speck of skin his eyes roamed.
âiâm not kidding, sunoo.â there you go again, reading his mind like itâs nothing. at your words, you see the tops of his ears and the tip of his nose redden. âyouâre so beautiful.â
âyouâre the most perfect girl iâve ever seen.â he almost cuts you off, so eager to return the sudden praise and affection. âi love you so much.â
instinctively, your hands reach up and hold his face, your thumb softly and mindlessly caressing the top of his cheek bones.
âmy pretty boy.â you mutter, had he not muted the tv on his way over to you, sunoo wouldnât have heard. but he did. and he melts into your touch when your lips reach his forehead. âi love you more than anything.â
âi like that nickname.â he hums into your palm.
âme too.â you smile, gently pulling him closer and allowing him to bury his face in your neck.
"Sunoo," you whined, looking up at him with puppy eyes. "I'm sorry."
The only answer you got was a huff, and a look from Sunoo that was either disbelief or annoyance.
"I'm soooorry." You pouted, hands trying to grab for Sunoos, but he pulled his away. He really seemed upset.
"Okay, what can I do to make you talk to me again? I'll do anything."
Sunoo squinted, head turning towards you. "You know what I want."
"I do, but-"
"This or nothing."
You looked at him in disbelief, mouth open, but he just stared back.
"Sunoo- you know how much I love cuddling with you. But it's so hot, I'm already melting just sitting here by myself!"
"It's never too hot for cuddles."
"Sunoo." He ignored you again. "Sunoooo."
He looked at you, but his mouth was pressed shut.
"Fine."
You stood up, making your way towards the kitchen, all the while feeling Sunoos eyes on you. But you tried your best to hide what you were doing, quickly closing the freezer door again before you made your way towards Sunoo.
"I don't like how you're standing behind me."
"You wanted a hug, you get your hug," you grinned, quickly pulling his shirt back to empty the whole container of ice cubes down his back.
"No!" he screeched, trying to jump up, but you quickly pushed him back down, trapping him in a hug from behind.
"Is that what you wanted? A lovely hug just for you," you grinned, pressing closer against him so there was no way to escape. "You were right, this is nice."
"Y/n", he screeched, trying to get out of your grip. "Stop it, I hate this!"
"I love it!" You couldn't suppress your laughter, lips pressing a series of kisses on Sunoos cheek. "And I love you."
"Oh really?" Sunoo tried his best to sound serious, but you could hear the small tremble in his voice. He was laughing too. "I'm not so sure about this."
"You just get what you wanted. And what you deserve."
"Mhm," he grinned, his head turning towards you. "I love you too, but there will be revenge."
"Oh, I'm looking forward to it."

though you wouldnât admit it, the cold was getting to you. you stood beside sunoo, shivering and wrapping your arms around yourself as tightly as possible.
he did warn you â it was approaching winter, nights were longer and colder. it was your own choice not to listen to him, appalled by the idea of putting on a hat or a scarf and ruining your outfit. after all, you were hoping to get some photographs of yourselves at the tree lighting event.
sunoo rolled his eyes and pulled you closer, taking his own hat off to transfer it to you. before you could complain or stop him, he fixed his own hair and pulled the material down over your eyes. you reached up to fix its positioning, sending him a sheepish smile as soon as you were given your vision back.
âyou didnât have to do that,â that was your stubborn way of thanking him. âi was doing perfectly fine.â
âyes, i did,â he scoffed. âyouâre not going to freeze on my watch. and next time, maybe both of us can have a hat to wear if you promise to dress warmly.â
âfine, i promise,â you smiled. âbut i do prefer your hat, since it still smells like you.â
how was he supposed to reply to that? sunoo slipped his hand into yours, pointing out that the countdown had began. that worked to take the attention away from his reddened cheeks, and soon you were standing in the middle of a beautifully lit city centre. the two of you spent your time admiring the multicoloured lights that adorned surrounding buildings and the large christmas tree.
