𓏲 ๋࣭ ࣪ ˖ Seven separate scenarios. You share an apartment with one of the ENHYPEN members and get caught reading smut... who then show you how it’s really done...
I thought the living room was empty. The apartment was quiet in that late afternoon way it sometimes got. I had the couch, a blanket over my legs, and my phone open to a particularly filthy scene I’d been saving for a moment exactly like this.
The male lead had the female lead bent over the kitchen counter, one hand in her hair, the other working between her legs while he told her exactly how wet she was and how he was going to ruin her for anyone else. My thumb kept scrolling. My breathing had gone shallow. I shifted under the blanket, pressing my thighs together, cheeks hot.
I didn’t hear the front door.
Heeseung’s voice cut through the quiet like a warm knife. “Y/N.”
I nearly dropped the phone. The blanket slipped. He stood in the entryway in a black hoodie and sweatpants, practice bag still hanging off one shoulder, dark hair slightly messy from the wind. His eyes dropped to the screen I was frantically trying to lock.
Too late.
He set the bag down without looking away. Walked over. Sat on the arm of the couch right beside my hip. Close enough that I could smell the faint scent of his cologne and the clean sweat underneath.
“Let me see.”
“Heeseung—”
“You were reading it out loud in your head so hard I could practically hear it from the hallway.” His voice stayed soft, almost fond, the same tone he used when he was about to win an argument without raising it. “Hand it over.”
I unlocked the phone with shaking fingers. He took it, scrolled a little, one eyebrow lifting. Then he laughed under his breath… quiet, low, the sound that always made my stomach flip.
“This is the part where he makes her say it.” He read a line under his breath, then looked at me. “You like being told what to do that clearly?”
I couldn’t answer. My face was on fire.
He set the phone on the coffee table face down. Turned fully toward me. The blanket was still half across my lap, he tugged it down until it pooled at my knees.
“We have the place to ourselves for at least two hours,” he said. “So if you want the real version instead of the paragraph, you can have it. But you have to ask properly.”
I swallowed. “Show me.”
Heeseung’s mouth curved. “Better.”
He stood, offered a hand, and pulled me up. Led me to the kitchen island… exactly like the scene… and turned me so my back was to his chest. His hands settled on my hips, then slid up under my oversized shirt, warm palms spanning my waist.
“First rule,” he murmured against the shell of my ear, “you don’t get to hide behind the screen. You tell me when something feels good. You tell me when you want more. And if I tell you to stay still, you stay still.”
I nodded. He nipped the side of my neck in reward.
Heeseung was patient in the way only someone who practiced control for years could be. He took off my shirt slowly, kissed every new inch of skin, talked the entire time in that low, steady voice. Told me how soft I was, how my breathing changed when his fingers brushed the underside of my breasts, how the little sound I made when he rolled a nipple between his fingers was better than anything on the page.
When he finally got my shorts and underwear down, he didn’t rush. He sat me on the edge of the island, spread my knees, and looked. Really looked. Then he dropped to a crouch and put his mouth on me like he was studying a new melody… slow, thorough, adjusting pressure the second my hips twitched. Two fingers slid inside while his tongue worked my clit in lazy circles. He kept talking between licks.
“This is the part you were reading. Except I’m not going to stop at one orgasm. You’re going to come on my tongue first, then on my fingers, then when I decide you’ve earned it, on my cock. Sound good?”
I could only whimper. He hummed approval against me and kept going until my thighs shook and I spilled over with a broken cry, hands fisting in his hair.
He stood, wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, and kissed me so I tasted myself. Then he turned me again, bent me over the cool countertop exactly the way the story had described, and pushed into me in one long, controlled thrust. I gasped. He groaned low in his throat and stayed still for a second, forehead against my shoulder blade.
“Fuck, Y/N. Better than the book.”
He set a rhythm that was deep and unhurried at first, then sharper when I started pushing back. One hand stayed in my hair, the other reached around to rub tight circles on my clit. He narrated everything… how tight I was, how wet, how he could feel me fluttering every time he hit that spot. When I came the second time he didn’t stop, he just kept fucking me through it until I was shaking and oversensitive and begging in soft broken syllables.
Only then did he let himself go, burying deep and coming with a low, punched out sound against my neck.
We stayed like that for a long minute. He pressed soft kisses along my spine, then carefully pulled out and cleaned us both up with a warm cloth from the drawer like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Later, when I was curled against his chest on the couch again, he picked my phone back up, unlocked it, and deleted the tab.
“You don’t need the story,” he said quietly. “You have me. Next time you get the urge, come find me. I’ll show you again. As many times as you want.”
I believed him.
JAY
I thought Jay’s room was safe. The lock on his door actually worked. I had borrowed his bed because the sheets smelled like his cologne and laundry detergent, clean and a little expensive, and I needed privacy for a scene I’d been saving.
The male lead in the story was cool, controlled, the kind of man who wore silver rings and spoke in low commands. He tied the female lead’s wrists with a silk tie, made her count every orgasm out loud, and refused to let her look away. My hand was already inside my sleep shorts, two fingers working in slow circles while I scrolled with the other. My breathing had gone shallow. The apartment was quiet enough that I could hear the soft wet sound of my own fingers.
I didn’t hear the door open.
Jay stood in the doorway in a black button down with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, silver rings catching the low light from his desk lamp. His hair was slightly damp from a shower he must have taken at the company. He closed the door behind him with a soft, deliberate click. Locked it.
“My room,” he said, voice mild. “My rules.”
I scrambled upright, face burning so hot I felt dizzy. He walked over without hurry, plucked the phone from my hand, and glanced at the screen. One corner of his mouth lifted… the smallest, most dangerous smile.
“Silk tie. Counting. Looking at him the whole time.” He scrolled a little further, then set the phone face down on the nightstand. “Interesting choice for someone who usually pretends she doesn’t get this wet from being told what to do.”
“Jay—”
“Take the shorts off.”
My heart hammered against my ribs. He didn’t raise his voice. He never needed to. I pushed the sleep shorts and underwear down with shaking hands and kicked them aside. He watched the entire time, eyes dark, expression almost clinical except for the way his jaw tightened.
He opened the top drawer of his dresser and pulled out a long black silk tie… one of the ones he actually wore to schedules, the fabric soft and expensive. “Hands.”
I held them out. He bound my wrists in front of me, loose enough not to hurt, tight enough that I couldn’t pull free. The silk was cool against my skin. He guided me to sit on the edge of the bed, then stepped between my knees, still fully dressed.
“You’re going to tell me every time you’re close,” he said. “And you’re going to count. Out loud. If you lose count, we start over. If you look away, we start over. Understand?”
I nodded.
“Words, Y/N.”
“I understand.”
Jay kissed me first… deep, controlled, the kind of kiss that made my head spin and my bound hands press uselessly against his chest. He tasted like mint and something darker. When he pulled back, my lips felt swollen. He took my tank top off slowly, then cupped my breasts, thumbs brushing my nipples until they tightened. He pinched one lightly and watched my face.
“Already sensitive. From the story or from getting caught?”
“Both,” I whispered.
He made a quiet sound of approval and pushed me farther back onto the mattress. Then he dropped to his knees between my spread thighs. For a long moment he just looked… eyes tracing the wetness already glistening on my skin… before he leaned in and licked a slow stripe from my entrance to my clit. I jerked. He held my hips down with both hands and did it again, slower, then sealed his mouth over me and sucked.
He was precise. No wasted motion. Two long fingers slid inside while his tongue worked tight circles, and he kept the pressure exactly where I needed it. When my thighs started to shake he pulled back just enough to speak against my skin.
“Count.”
The first orgasm hit hard. I gasped “one” and he didn’t stop… just slowed enough that the second one built almost immediately, his fingers curling against that spot that made my vision blur. By the time I choked out “three” my bound wrists were pressed to the mattress above my head and I was making soft, broken sounds I barely recognized.
Only then did he stand. He stripped with the same unhurried efficiency he did everything else… button down, undershirt, belt, pants… until he was naked and fully hard, the head of his cock already shiny. He rolled a condom on, then hooked my bound wrists over his head so my arms framed his neck and our faces were close.
“Look at me while I fuck you.”
He pushed in slowly, watching my expression the entire time. When he bottomed out he stayed still for a beat, jaw tight, breathing carefully through his nose.
“Still with me?”
“Yes.”
He started moving… deep, measured thrusts that dragged against every sensitive place inside me. One hand stayed on my hip, the other cupped the back of my neck so I couldn’t look away even if I wanted to. Every time I got close he would change the angle or slow down just enough to pull me back from the edge, then demand the next number when he finally let me fall.
“Four,” I sobbed when the fourth one tore through me.
He kept going. By five I was crying from overstimulation, forehead pressed to his, bound hands clenched in his hair. By six his rhythm had started to falter, breath hotter against my mouth. He came on the seventh with a low, rough sound against my lips, hips stuttering, body rigid above mine.
Afterward he stayed inside me for a long minute, forehead against mine, just breathing. Then he carefully lifted my wrists from around his neck, untied the silk, and kissed the faint red marks it had left. He cleaned us both with a warm cloth from his bathroom, then pulled me into his lap against the headboard, chin resting on my shoulder.
“Next time you want to read something like that,” he said quietly, voice still a little rough, “bring it to me first. I’ll make it better than the page. Every time.”
I didn’t argue. I just turned my face into his neck and let him hold me until my heartbeat slowed.
JAKE
I had chosen the balcony because it felt private enough. The apartment was quiet in that late afternoon calm, and the city stretched out below in a soft haze of traffic and late light. I sat in one of the outdoor chairs with a blanket over my legs, phone in hand, and the most explicit outdoor scene I had saved in weeks.
The male lead had the female lead pressed against a brick wall high above the street, one hand under her thigh, the other braced beside her head, talking the entire time about how wet she was and how he was going to ruin her for anyone else. My thumb kept scrolling. My breathing had gone shallow. I shifted under the blanket, pressing my thighs together, cheeks already hot. One hand slipped under the waistband of my shorts without me fully deciding to do it.
I didn’t hear the glass door slide open.
Jake stood there with two iced Americanos in hand, practice bag still hanging off one shoulder, hair slightly messy from the wind. He froze mid step. His eyes dropped to the phone, then to the blanket, then to the flush on my face. For a second he just stared.
“Oh.”
I scrambled to lock the screen. He was faster. One long arm reached over, plucked the phone out of my hand, and his eyes went wide as he read. The tips of his ears turned pink the way they always did when he was equal parts embarrassed and interested. Then he grinned…bright, delighted, a little wicked… and the expression made my stomach flip.
“Y/N. You’ve been holding out on me.”
He set the coffees down on the small table with careful precision, locked the balcony door from the inside, and dropped into the chair opposite mine like we were about to have the most normal conversation in the world. He scrolled further, eyebrows climbing higher with every paragraph.
“Is this why you’ve been weirdly quiet the last three nights? Because you’ve been reading… this?” He let out a soft, disbelieving laugh. “Public. Against a wall. Him talking the whole time about how wet she is and how he’s going to fuck her until she can’t stand. Damn. And you were touching yourself to it on our balcony.”
I covered my face with both hands. He laughed again, softer this time, fond, and tugged my wrists down so he could see me.
“Hey. No hiding. You got caught. Now you get the upgraded version.” He stood, pulled me up with him, and backed me against the brick wall of the balcony in one smooth motion. His body was warm and solid, the hard line of his cock already pressing against my hip. The city stretched out below us, high enough that no one could see properly even if they looked up. “We have the place to ourselves for at least an hour and a half. I’m not stopping until you come at least twice. Deal?”
I nodded, already breathless. My heart was hammering so hard I could feel it in my throat.
Jake kissed like he did everything else… enthusiastic, thorough, a little messy in the best way. His mouth was warm and open, tongue sliding against mine without hesitation. His hands were everywhere at once: under my shirt, palms spanning my waist, then higher to cup my breasts, thumbs brushing my nipples until they tightened. He groaned softly into the kiss when he felt how hard they already were. One hand slid down the back of my shorts, cupping my ass to pull me tighter against him.
“You’re already wet,” he murmured against my ear, Australian accent a little thicker the way it got when he was turned on. “From the story or from me catching you? Both? Yeah, both. Fuck, that’s hot. I can feel it through your shorts. You’ve been sitting out here getting yourself worked up and I walked right into it.”
He got my shorts and underwear down just far enough, freed himself with his other hand, and lifted one of my thighs to hook over his hip. The head of his cock dragged through my wetness once, twice, and then he pushed in with one smooth, deep slide that made us both groan. The stretch was perfect. He stayed still for a second, forehead pressed to mine, breathing carefully.
“God, Y/N. You’re so tight. Feels better than anything on that phone.”
He set a rhythm that was deep and a little frantic from the start, the way Jake always moved when he stopped holding back… enthusiastic, a little rough in the best way, hips snapping against mine. One hand stayed under my thigh to keep me open, the other braced beside my head on the brick. He talked the entire time, voice low and playful and filthy against my ear.
“That’s it… take it. You wanted to be fucked against a wall? Here you go. Feel how hard you made me just from reading that shit on our balcony? I’ve been thinking about you all day and then I walk out here and you’re already touching yourself. Fuck. You’re squeezing me so tight every time I bottom out.”
The first orgasm surprised me. It built fast under the combination of the angle, the open air, and his voice, and then it crashed over me hard enough that I clenched around him with a broken sound and buried my face in his neck. He laughed breathlessly, delighted, and kept going through it, slowing just enough that the oversensitivity made me whimper.
“One,” he said against my hair, still smiling. “I said at least two. I’m not done.”
He reached between us to rub my clit in tight, perfect circles while he kept thrusting, deeper now, a little slower, grinding against that spot inside me on every stroke. The second orgasm built slower and hit harder. My legs shook. I came with his name on my lips, muffled against his shoulder, and he followed a few thrusts later, burying deep and murmuring my name like a prayer, hips stuttering, body going rigid against mine.
We stayed pressed together until our breathing slowed. The iced coffees sat untouched on the table. Jake kissed the tip of my nose, then my mouth, gentle now, the playful edge softened into something warmer. He carefully pulled out, fixed both our clothes with quiet efficiency, and guided me back into the chair. He handed me one of the coffees like nothing had happened, then sat across from me again, still a little flushed, still smiling.
“Next time just come get me,” he said, voice soft. “I’ll make the real thing better than any book. Promise. And we can do it somewhere with a bed next time so your legs don’t give out halfway through. Or we can stay out here. Your choice. But no more hiding on the balcony with your phone. Deal?”
I nodded, still too wrecked to form full sentences. He reached across the table, laced our fingers together, and just held my hand while the city moved below us.
SUNGHOON
Sunghoon moved through the apartment like a shadow most days… quiet, precise, always a little distant until he decided not to be. I had chosen his bed because the sheets smelled like his clean laundry detergent and the faint cool scent of his cologne, and because I was almost certain he would be at the studio for at least another three hours.
I was wrong.
I was lying on my back in the middle of his mattress, phone propped against a pillow, one hand already inside my shorts. The scene on the screen was exactly the kind of thing that always got to me, a cold, elegant male lead who spent the entire story holding himself back until he finally snapped and fucked the female lead until she couldn’t form sentences. The writing was detailed. The pace was slow and deliberate. My fingers moved in the same rhythm as the paragraphs.
The door opened without a sound.
Sunghoon stood in the doorway in a black practice hoodie and sweatpants, dance bag still over one shoulder, hair slightly damp with sweat. He took in the entire scene in one long, silent glance… my flushed face, the phone, the movement of my hand under the waistband… and then he stepped inside. Closed the door. Locked it. Set the bag down without looking away from me.
“My bed,” he said, voice soft and flat. “My sheets. And you’re touching yourself to that.”
I scrambled to sit up, heart slamming against my ribs. He crossed the room in three unhurried strides, took the phone from my hand, and read for several long seconds. His expression barely changed. When he finished he set the phone face down on the nightstand with deliberate care.
“Lie back.”
I did. My pulse was so loud I could hear it in my ears. Sunghoon stripped with efficient movements… hoodie first, then the shirt underneath, then sweatpants and underwear… until he was naked and already half hard, all pale skin and long lines of muscle and the quiet intensity he usually kept locked behind a polite smile. He climbed onto the bed, settled between my thighs, and looked at me with that icy expression that always made my stomach drop.
“You want the version where I stop being careful?”
I nodded. My voice wouldn’t work.
Sunghoon kissed me once… deep, controlled, almost punishing in how thorough it was. He tasted like mint and cold air. When he pulled back, he took my clothes off piece by piece, kissing every new inch of skin with the same focused attention he brought to everything. My shirt, my shorts, my underwear. He left me bare beneath him and just looked for a long moment, eyes tracing the flush on my chest, the wetness already visible between my legs.
Then he settled between my thighs and put his mouth on me like it was a challenge he had decided to win.
There was nothing rushed about it. His tongue was precise. Two long fingers slid inside and curled against the spot that made my back arch off the mattress. He adjusted pressure the second my breathing changed, slowed when I got close, sped up when I started to shake. He didn’t speak. He just kept going until the first orgasm tore through me hard enough that my thighs trembled around his head and a broken sound escaped my throat. Even then he didn’t stop. He licked me through it, slower, until the oversensitivity made me push weakly at his shoulders.
Only then did he rise. He rolled a condom on with steady hands, positioned himself, and pushed into me in one smooth, deep thrust. The stretch pulled a gasp out of me. He held my wrists above my head with one hand and fucked me with long, controlled strokes that never quite let me catch my breath. His free hand stayed between us, fingers circling my clit with the same precise pressure he had used earlier. He watched my face the entire time, eyes dark, jaw tight.
The second orgasm built slower and hit harder. I clenched around him with a cry I couldn’t muffle and he finally made a sound… low, almost reluctant… against my neck. He followed a few thrusts later, face buried in my shoulder, hips stuttering, a quiet groan escaping as he came.
Afterward he stayed inside me for a long minute, just breathing. Then he carefully pulled out, cleaned us both with a warm cloth from his bathroom, and pulled the covers over us. He settled me against his chest, one hand stroking slow paths down my spine.
“Next time,” he murmured into my hair, voice still soft, “just ask. I’ll give you the real thing. You don’t have to sneak into my bed to get it. I’m right here.”
I pressed closer. He held me tighter, and for once the icy distance was completely gone.
SUNOO
Sunoo found me in the laundry room of all places. The dryer was running on a long cycle, the vibration already making everything worse, and I was sitting on top of it with my phone in one hand and the other inside my shorts. The scene on the screen was pure praise kink and mirrors… the male lead making the female lead watch herself the entire time, telling her how pretty she looked when she came, how wet she was, how good she took him.
I was so focused I didn’t hear the door open.
Sunoo stood there in a soft pink hoodie and sweatpants, laundry basket under one arm, eyes going wide. For a second he just stared. Then he lit up like Christmas, a bright, delighted, slightly wicked smile spreading across his face.
“Oh my god. You’re reading the dirty stuff.”
I tried to hide the phone. He was faster. He set the basket down, snatched the phone, read three full paragraphs, and made a soft, delighted sound that was pure Sunoo.
“Y/N. This is so you. The mirror? The ‘look how pretty you are when you come’ part? The praise? We’re doing that. Right now.”
He locked the laundry room door, turned me so I faced the full length mirror mounted on the back of it, and pressed up behind me. His body was warm and solid. His hands slid under my shirt immediately, palms cupping my breasts, thumbs brushing my nipples while he watched us both in the reflection.
“Look,” he whispered against my ear, bright voice gone low and sweet. “Look how pretty you already are. Your cheeks are pink. Your mouth’s open. You’re so wet I can feel it through your shorts and I haven’t even touched you properly yet. You’re sitting on a running dryer reading about someone telling you how good you look when you come. God, Y/N.”
He got my clothes off piece by piece, praising every new inch of skin in that soft, filthy way that made my knees weak. My shirt. My shorts. My underwear. He left me bare in front of the mirror and just looked at our reflection for a long moment, hands stroking slow paths over my waist and hips.
Then he dropped to his knees behind me so I could still see my own face in the mirror while he put his mouth on me from behind. His hands held my hips steady. His tongue was relentless…broad strokes, then focused attention on my clit, then two fingers sliding inside while he sucked. He kept talking the entire time, voice muffled against my skin.
“You’re already shaking. Look at yourself. Look how pretty you are like this. You’re dripping down my fingers, and I’m barely doing anything yet.”
The first orgasm hit hard enough that my legs nearly gave out. He stood, turned me, and kissed me breathless… smiling against my mouth the whole time… before bending me over the folding table so we could both watch in the mirror while he fucked me. He pushed in slowly, watching my face in the reflection, and then set a rhythm that was deep and steady, one hand on my hip, the other reaching around to rub my clit.
He talked the entire time. Soft, filthy praise mixed with real affection. How good I looked taking him. How tight I was. How he loved the way my face changed when he hit that spot. How pretty I was when I came. He made me come again with his fingers on my clit and his cock buried deep, and then he followed soon after, forehead pressed to my shoulder, smiling against my skin as he finished.
We stayed like that for a long minute, both breathing hard. Sunoo wrapped his arms around me from behind and pressed soft kisses to the back of my neck.
“Next time,” he said, still catching his breath, “we do it in an actual bed with better lighting and no risk of someone needing to wash towels. Deal? And you don’t have to hide in the laundry room. Just come find me. I’ll tell you how pretty you are as many times as you want.”
I could only nod, still shaking. He held me until I stopped trembling, then helped me back into my clothes with quiet, careful hands.
JUNGWON
The apartment was completely quiet at 2 a.m. The only light came from my phone screen, soft and blue against the dark living room. I had claimed the couch with a thick blanket pulled over my lap, knees drawn up, and a scene open that I had been saving for exactly this kind of night.
The male lead in the story was the responsible one… the one who always kept things together, who noticed everything, who finally lost patience after weeks of watching the female lead sneak around. He pinned her down on the couch, covered her mouth, and fucked her until she came so hard she cried. The writing was slow and detailed. Every thrust described. Every muffled sound. Every time he told her she didn’t have to hide anymore.
My hand was already between my legs, fingers moving in the same rhythm as the paragraphs. I had stopped scrolling. I just kept rereading the same section, breathing shallow, thighs tense under the blanket. The apartment felt safe. Silent. I thought I was alone.
I didn’t hear him until he spoke.
“Phone.”
My head snapped up. Jungwon stood at the end of the couch in a soft gray hoodie and dark sleep pants, arms crossed loosely over his chest. His hair was slightly messy from his pillow. He looked far too awake for the hour. His expression was calm… almost gentle… but his eyes were dark and fixed on me with the kind of attention that made my stomach drop.
I froze. He didn’t move. He just held out one hand, palm up, and waited.
I handed the phone over without a word. He took it, unlocked the screen with the same code we both used, and started reading. The light from the phone lit the sharp lines of his face. He scrolled slowly, deliberately, reading every line. His jaw tightened once. Then again. When he finished he locked the screen, set the phone face down on the coffee table with quiet precision, and sat down beside me. Close enough that his thigh pressed firmly against mine under the blanket.
For a long moment he said nothing. He just looked at me. Then he spoke, voice low and even.
“You’ve been doing this for weeks. Sneaking out of our room at night. Sitting on this couch with the lights off. Getting yourself off to strangers on a page when I’m literally right here. Did you think I wouldn’t notice? The light under the door. The way you look at me sometimes during the day and then look away like you’re afraid I’ll see something. The way you disappear after I’m already in bed.”
My face burned so hot it hurt. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. Jungwon reached under the blanket without further warning. His hand found the waistband of my sleep shorts, slid inside, and two long fingers pushed into me easily. I was already soaked. He made a low sound in his throat… quiet, almost approving… and curled his fingers against the exact spot that made my hips jerk.
“This is what you wanted?” he asked, still calm, still gentle, even as his fingers worked in slow, precise strokes. “Someone who notices? Someone who takes over so you don’t have to keep hiding? Someone who covers your mouth and finds out what you’ve been doing on the living room couch at two in the morning?”
I nodded, already moving against his hand. A soft, broken sound escaped me and he immediately covered my mouth with his other hand, eyes locking with mine. His palm was warm. His fingers smelled faintly like the hand cream he kept on his nightstand.
“Quiet,” he murmured. “You’re going to stay quiet for me.”
He kissed me then… slow, thorough, the kind of kiss that made my thoughts scatter completely. He tasted like toothpaste and something warmer underneath. When he pulled back he kept his hand over my mouth and used the other to strip us both with quiet, efficient movements under the blanket. My shorts and underwear. His sleep pants and boxers. He laid me back against the couch cushions, settled between my thighs, and pushed into me in one deep, controlled thrust.
The stretch pulled a muffled sound out of me against his palm. He stayed still for a second, forehead pressed to mine, breathing carefully through his nose. Then he started moving…steady, deep strokes that never quite let me catch my breath. His free hand slid between us to rub my clit in perfect time with every thrust. He watched my face the entire time, eyes dark, expression still calm even as his breathing grew heavier.
He made me come once around his fingers before he even entered me… slow, deliberate pressure until I clenched and shook and cried out against his hand. He didn’t stop. He pushed into me while I was still trembling and fucked me through the aftershocks, then built me up again with the same relentless control. The second orgasm hit harder. My eyes stung. My legs shook around his waist. I came with a broken, muffled sound and tears at the corners of my eyes, and only then did he let himself finish… forehead pressed to mine, a quiet groan escaping against my palm as his hips stuttered and he buried himself deep.
We stayed like that for a long minute afterward, both breathing hard. His hand finally left my mouth. He carefully pulled out, cleaned us both with tissues from the box on the coffee table, and then lifted me into his arms without a word. He carried me down the hall to our room, closed the door with his foot, and laid me on the bed. He cleaned us more thoroughly with a warm cloth from the bathroom, then pulled the covers over both of us and settled me against his chest.
His heartbeat was steady under my ear. One hand stroked slow paths down my spine.
“Next time just wake me,” he murmured into my hair, voice soft again, almost sleepy. “I’ll take care of it. You don’t have to sneak around or hide on the couch or read about someone else doing what I can do for you. I’m right here. All you have to do is ask. I’ll notice. I already do.”
I pressed closer, face buried in his hoodie. He held me tighter, chin resting on top of my head, and stayed awake until my breathing evened out and I finally fell asleep against him.
NI-KI
The practice room in our apartment was the only place that still felt completely private after midnight. The lights were dimmed to a soft warm glow that reflected endlessly in the mirror wall. I had propped my phone on a chair, opened the most athletic, flexible smut scene I owned, and shoved my shorts down around my thighs.
The male lead in the story was a dancer… long limbed, strong, relentless. He folded the female lead in half against a mirror, put her legs over his shoulders, used his stamina and flexibility until she couldn’t walk. Then he flipped her onto her hands and knees and kept going. The writing was detailed enough that I could almost feel it. My hand was between my legs, fingers slick, and I was so focused on the reflection of myself in the mirror… flushed cheeks, open mouth, the movement of my own hand… that I didn’t notice the door open.
“Y/N.”
I jumped so hard the phone nearly fell off the chair. Ni-ki stood in the doorway in a black tank top and loose practice pants, hair messy from sleep or late rehearsal, a sharp, young, slightly dangerous grin already spreading across his face. He looked wide awake. He looked entertained. He walked in without hurry, closed the door behind him, and locked it with a soft click.
He crossed the room, picked up my phone, and scanned the page for a long moment. His eyebrows rose. Then he looked back at me… shorts still around my thighs, hand still glistening… and the grin widened.
“You want to be bent in half and fucked until you can’t walk?” he said, voice low and a little rough with leftover sleep. “Cool. I can do that better than a book.”
He set the phone down, stripped with zero hesitation… tank top pulled over his head in one motion, practice pants and underwear shoved down and kicked aside… until he was naked and already hard, all long limbs and dancer’s muscle and the kind of easy confidence that came from knowing exactly how his body moved. He walked over to me, pulled my shorts the rest of the way off, and manhandled me into the first position without any further warning.
He put my back against the mirror, lifted both of my legs over his shoulders, and folded me nearly in half so I could watch both of our faces in the glass while he pushed into me. The stretch was intense… deep and immediate. He didn’t give me much time to adjust. He set a relentless rhythm right away, one hand braced beside my head on the mirror, the other holding my thigh open. The glass was cool against my back. The reflection showed everything, the flush spreading down my chest, the way my mouth fell open on every thrust, the way his hips snapped against mine with perfect control.
“Look at yourself,” he said, voice low and a little breathless, still grinning. “You’re taking it so well. Better than the story, right? You’re already shaking and I just started. Look how deep I am. Look at your face.”
He made me come the first time like that… the angle so deep that the orgasm hit hard and left me gasping against the glass, thighs trembling over his shoulders. He didn’t stop. He fucked me through it, slower for a few strokes, then picked the pace back up until I was oversensitive and whimpering.
Then he pulled out, flipped me onto my hands and knees on the practice mats, and pushed back into me from behind in one smooth thrust. One hand fisted gently in my hair, tugging my head back just enough that I could still see us in the mirror. The other reached around to rub my clit in tight, relentless circles. The second orgasm built faster and hit harder. I came with a broken sound that echoed off the mirrors and he laughed under his breath… delighted, almost proud… and kept going through the aftershocks.
“Still with me?” he asked, voice rougher now. “One more. You can take it. I know you can.”
He turned me again, lifted one of my legs high against his chest, and drove into me with long, deep strokes until the third orgasm tore through me so hard I cried out against his shoulder and my vision went white at the edges. Only then did he let himself finish… burying deep with a low, punched out sound, hips stuttering, body going rigid against mine as he came.
We collapsed side by side on the mats afterward, both breathing hard. The mirror still reflected us… messy, flushed, wrecked, shiny with sweat. Ni-ki poked my cheek with one finger, still grinning, eyes bright and a little soft underneath the mischief.
“Next time,” he said, voice quieter now, “just text me. Or come find me. I don’t care. But no more hiding in the practice room with your phone at two in the morning reading about someone else doing what I can do better. Come find me instead. I’ll fold you in half whenever you want.”
I was too wrecked to do anything but nod. My legs felt useless. Ni-ki pulled me against his side anyway, warm and solid, one arm around my waist, and stayed there until my breathing slowed and I could stand again. When we finally left the room he kept one hand on the small of my back the entire way down the hall, steadying me, like he was making sure I didn’t fall. He walked me all the way to our door, pressed a quick, almost shy kiss to my temple, and then pulled me inside with one last grin.

𝜗𝜚⋆ established relationship, dom!sunoo, switch!reader, car sex [1.8k]
What was meant to be an average date night with Sunoo ended up being cut short — its not your fault when he showed up in those damn glasses.
semi public (in a car.), the glasses stay ON. tongue fucking, oral fem rec, face sitting, lowk nose riding, readers pathetically down bad (me 2), unprotected sex (NO), cumming inside, cum eating (?), munch!sunoo, riding, cockwarming
The night was young, your date with Sunoo was going to plan so far — you got ready, wore the outfit Sunoo helped you picked out, prior.
It was all perfect, then he showed up in those fucking glasses.
The glasses he knew you adored. A small sly smirk gracing his lips as you clearly try to comprehend the glasses framing his fox like eyes.
The whole night you were quiet — not because you were mad at him, not at all. You couldn't meet his eyes, every time you did your mind flooded with thoughts you were scared the people around you could hear.
Sunoo knew, of course he did — he knew you like the back of his hand, he anticipated this reaction that's why he wore them in the first place.
The dinner was nice, food was good, so was the in-house entertainment — not that you were focusing on that. You were walking hand in hand out of the restaurant, Sunoo talking about his day, how practice was, what the guys were up to. When you got to the car he opened the passenger door for you, slipping around to the drivers seat.
As he drives back to your shared apartment you cant focus on the gossip hes sharing — roughly understanding what hes going on about. You're not focused on it at all, or the way his hand settles a bit higher on your thigh then it usually does — No, your focused on his profile, his gaze focused on the road, eyebrows quirked as he dramatically recalls whatever pisses him off lately, the way his nose slopes so perfectly, the way his lips are slightly pink from your kisses earlier — your makeup transferring on his lips. The way the frames are shifted on the bridge of his nose, unbothered to fix them.
The clear frames perfectly framing his eyes — its all overtaking you, unable to focus on anything but those stupid glasses and how they accentuate his already pretty features.
How they reflect the light making him even prettier somehow, how they fogged up slightly from the changing temperatures — and now all you can imagine is them fogging up as he fucks into you.
"Are you even listening, angel?" He gasps in feign annoyance, smiling slightly glancing at you, squeezing your thigh to regain your attention.
"Not really." You don't even deny it, your brain working overtime trying to focus on anything.
"I'm more than a pretty face for you to look at." He teases, pouting slightly turning into another street — the motion sliding his glasses down the bridge of his nose as you take a shakey breath.
"Pull over." You say with no debate, your need overtaking every ounce of logic.
"Excuse me?" He giggles slightly glancing at you — seeing your serious expression. The way your eyes are dark with want, the way you have unintentionally been squeezing your thighs together the whole drive.
"You know what you're doing, Sun." you say flatly, not even bothering to act shy.
Sunoo suppresses a sly grin and he taps against your thigh, looking around the area. The energy in the car shifting from a one-sided conversation to a charged one. The car suddenly feeling warm.
Sunoo pulls into a spot on the side of a dead road, turning the engine off.
"Couldn't wait till we even got home? Unbelievable —" His teasing is interrupted by you unbuckling your seatbelt and climbing over the center console, barely even making it into his lap as you pull him into a heated kiss.
Your lips attacking each others, gasping into the kiss, your hands finding any part of him to hold onto — settling in his hair, his rest on your waist. Teeth clashing as you fight for dominance — Sunoo groaning into the kiss his hands slipping under your shirt thumbing at your stomach making you moan into the kiss.
The kiss breaks and you both are panting, you swallow the lump in your throat as you look at him, his glasses, on the tip of his nose — foggy from the heated make out.
"Backseat, now" He breathes out, catching his own breath.
You don't even nod — just shifting as you climb over the console, falling into the backseat with a thud, your head resting on the seat, thighs pressed together.
Sunoo joins shortly after climbing over a bit more gracefully, settling in between your thighs hovering over you, his lips press on yours, his fingers lacing through yours next to your head, caging you in.
The kiss breaks when you push up, your hand on his chest pushing him back on the seat, affectively swapping positions. Your sitting on his lap hands splayed on his chest.
He looks ethereal, hair a mess, lips swollen, glasses barely on and foggy.
"Sit on my face" he says bluntly, you swallow the lump in your throat, your breathing uneven. as you whimper at his bold words.
"Cant just say that, Sun." You stammer, your previous confidence gone.
"Please?" He whispers, looking up at you — begging.
You let out a ragged breath as you slide your panties off, keeping your skirt on. Trying to squeeze your legs together, stopped by Sunoo as his hands pulls you forward onto his face.
Still hovering, one hand rests on the back seat the other on the headrest of the front seat, looking down at the boy beneath you you let out a whimper the sight making you wet.
Sunoos hands trace your thighs, almost salivating at your bare, dripping pussy above him. He moves to take off his glasses when you immediately stop him, getting flustered doing so.
He holds back a grin, keeping them on as his arms wrap around your thighs, pulling you onto his face. His tongue immediately diving into you, licking up all the slick from your folds, his tongue prodding your hole, sliding up sucking on your clit as you shift on him.
You let out a series of cries and moans, hands holding onto his hair and the headrest, trying to ground yourself, ending in you grinding down on his face.
Sunoos actions don't stop, eating you out like he was starved, moaning into your pussy, arms tight around your thighs keeping you on his face.
Every so often his nose nudges your swollen clit as he licks through your folds, licking up all the slick your making. His tongue prods your hole making you whimper and grind down onto his face. His movements fast but precise, trying to bring you over the edge.
The tip of his tongue teasing you, poking into your weeping hole then licking through your folds and drawing soft moans from you.
At this point the car is fogged up, unable to see through the windows, people passing by most definitely able to guess correctly whats happening in the car.
After he gets impatient, wanting to taste all of you his tongue breaches your tight hole. earning a relieved whimper from you your hips humping against his tongue.
You're more riding his face, him letting you seek your own pleasure using him to to do, every so often, his fogged glasses bump against your clit making you let out a pathetic sound. Its all too much, your orgasm comes crashing over you, riding through your high.
When your orgasm slows, he doesn't — instantly licking up all your cum, moaning against your heating — eating you like its lifeline. Sucking up all of your wetness sending you into overdrive. He only stops when you physically have to push him off your pussy.
When you pull back off his face its a sight. the bottom of his face slicked up, a proud grin on his lips, his eyes peaking out from the glasses hanging low on his noses.
Catching his breath, he sits up, pulling you into his lap kissing you.
You moan into the kiss, tasting your cum on his tongue sending you insane. When you pull back you raise your hips, tugging down his pants, palming him brought his boxers earning a whine from his as he tilts his head back on the headrest.
"You're insane — all this over glasses" he says breathlessly his thumbs rubbing circles on your waist.
"Not just the glasses, its you in the glasses" you whisper softly looking into his eyes.
He makes an unrecognizable sound as he breathes heavily, his hands fumbling his boxers as he pulls himself out, pumping himself before lining himself up with your entrance.
Your hands rest on his shoulders as you sink down onto him, the car filling with the sounds of your combined moans
"I'm not gonna last." He whimpers leaning his head back, eyes scrunching, already dangerously close from you riding his face.
You mumble something incoherent, your walls pulsating against him cock, whimpering trying to adjust to the position, you look at him and instantly moan closing your eyes, its too much — hes too much.
You rise from him, only the tip still in as you sink down, the pace slow and steady but perfect, Sunoo's hands guiding you, helping you ride him.
His lips attach to yours quickly, moaning into his mouth as you clench around him, grinding your hips against his desperate for release.
He notices your legs shaking, quickly taking over — his hands holding onto your hips, fucking you down onto him sharply, he fills you perfectly — feeling him everywhere, his tip kissing your cervix with every deep thrust.
Sunoo can feel his orgasm coming embarrassingly soon — he cant have that. Despite his hand snaking down, his thumb rubbing fast finger 8s on your clit making you scream in pleasure.
The duel stimulation pushes your orgasm on you like a train, no warning, your legs shake as you pretty much let him take over fully, riding out your orgasm as he fucks you down onto his cock.
Sunoos orgasm is triggered by yours, your walls clenching, sucking him in, milking him dry — a whimper leaves his lips as his movements halt — his orgasm washing over him.
His movements on your clit stop when you wince slight, pressing a kiss on your neck as an apology, then on your lips as another one.
Staying inside you as his cock softens, both of your orgasms fading out as you droop your head onto his shoulder, your body spent.
Sunoos arms wrap around your waist, his cheek leaning against your hair pressing soft kisses to the side of your head rubbing soft shapes on your exposed skin.
His free hand finally removes his glasses, setting the on the seat beside you both, his fingers threading through your hair admiring your post sex haze.
Your fuzzy, the intense heat from the sex fading, the air from outside coming in cooling your hot skin. One of your fingers draw shapes in the fog in the window — earning a laugh from Sunoo who just kisses your hair.
"So i should wear the glasses more, hm?"

✩ˎˊ˗ summary — being sunghoon’s younger sister by a year, it was clear to everyone that you were off-limits. sunghoon’s overprotectiveness made it impossible for anyone to forget that, especially sunoo, his best friend. the pink haired alpha, who always saw you as nothing more than his best friend’s little sister. he wasn’t looking for an omega or a mate, and that was that. but when things get heated between the both of you, he had no choice but to confront the feelings he always had for his best friend's younger sister that he couldn't deny anymore.
Being the youngest daughter of the esteemed Park family was hard—not because of who your brother was, but because of all the rules you were raised to follow.
From the moment you could walk, you were groomed to be perfect, poised, refined, and constantly reminded that you were next in line to rule alongside Sunghoon.
The pressure was suffocating. Every step you took was measured, every decision scrutinized, and the expectations never seemed to end.
The problem? You had never asked for any of it.
As his younger sister, it was hard to make your own way when all anyone ever saw was the role you were born into.
And to make matters worse, there were constant reminders that you were off-limits—not just because you were his sister—well, maybe just a little, but because you were the future of the family.
You were a one-in-a-million case—the only Omega born into a bloodline full of purebred Alphas, aside from your mother. That rarity only made you more valuable in their eyes, something to be protected, preserved, and eventually paired off like a prize.
You were snapped out of your thoughts when you felt Sunghoon tap lightly on your knee, the touch familiar yet still enough to pull you back into reality.
His presence in the front seat always carried an air of authority, and for a moment, you resented how easily he could just command your attention.
“Stupid Alphas and their stupid genes,” you muttered under your breath.
“Stop zoning out,” he said, his voice a playful reprimand—though the smile on his face suggested he wasn’t too bothered by your distraction.
You rolled your eyes as you shifted in your seat. “I’m not zoning out,” you muttered, trying to shake off the frustration that had been rising under your skin.
The weight of your family’s expectations felt heavier than usual.
Sunghoon, sitting next to the driver’s seat with his attention partly on the road and partly on you, sighed.
“You know Mom’s going to expect you to bring a suitor with you to the dinner, right? At least someone who looks like they’re even remotely interested in you.”
Your chest tightened at the mention of it. The dinner wasn’t for a few more days—five, actually—but your mother had already made it clear that tonight’s family gathering would be just the beginning.
It was one of those events designed to solidify your place in the hierarchy, and somehow, the spotlight was always on you and your older brother, no matter how much you tried to avoid it.
“Yeah, I know,” you said dryly, glancing out the window at the passing buildings.
“You’re not the one who has to deal with her acting like your love life is the family business.”
Sunghoon chuckled, a sound that felt too familiar—dry and dismissive, as though he didn’t even consider anyone good enough to be worthy of you.
“I just think no one’s good enough for you,” he said with a shrug, his voice almost bored as he looked out the windshield.
“Mom’s just doing her usual thing. Trying to find someone who’ll follow the rules and look the part. Doesn’t matter who they are, as long as they check the boxes.” Sunghoon sighed, shooting you a tight smile in the rear-view mirror.
You bit your lip to keep from rolling your eyes.
The last thing you needed was your brother deciding who was worthy of you—especially when the last thing you wanted was someone picked for you based on some list of family-approved traits.
“I’m sure she’ll find someone who meets all her requirements,” you said, sarcasm laced into your voice.
Sunghoon glanced at you, the amusement in his eyes fading into something a little more serious.
For a second, you saw a flash of concern, but it was gone just as quickly. “Don’t let her get to you,” he said quietly.
“The only thing you need is an Alpha who cares about you,” he added, his tone oddly casual, though he sounded sincere.
“Like your mate, who I’m sure is just out there waiting for you. You’ll find him eventually.”
You blinked, surprised by the unexpected softness in his voice. You weren’t used to hearing him talk like that.
Shifting uncomfortably, unsure of what to say, you asked, “You really think someone’s out there waiting for me?” The doubt crept into your voice despite the flicker of hope his words had caused.
Sunghoon’s gaze softened for a moment, his expression unreadable. “I don’t think you need to worry about that right now,” he said with a slight grin, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“When the time comes, you’ll know. Just… don’t let Mom rush you into someone you don’t want.”
You let out a quiet sigh, turning your gaze out the window as the car slowed. The city lights blurred past, and before you could process it, the familiar driveway came into view—an all too familiar mansion.
The car honked, and a figure appeared in your peripheral vision. You recognized him immediately, even from a distance: Kim Sunoo, casually scrolling through his phone as he stood by the front gate.
As the car rolled to a stop, he looked up, saw you both, and sent Sunghoon a playful smirk through the rolled-down passenger window.
“Well, look who finally decided to show up,” Sunoo said with a grin, his eyes lighting up as he looked up from his phone.
The soft glow of the streetlights caught the strands of his pink hair—his signature look, the one everyone knew him for—before he slid into the car beside you without missing a beat.
But as Sunoo settled in, you couldn’t shake the strange feeling that had been creeping up on you for a while now.
You’d known him for as long as you could remember—your brother’s best friend, always around when the two of you were growing up.
His family was just like yours: pureblooded, with a reputation that seemed to follow them wherever they went. But to you, Sunoo had always seemed harmless, just another guy who’d been around long enough to feel like part of the family in his own way.
It wasn’t always like this. There was a time when he had been just Sunghoon’s best friend. The guy who teased you relentlessly, but never in a mean way.
He was always present, always just there: at family gatherings, at parties, even during quiet moments when you’d end up sitting side by side, silently enduring the weight of family expectations together.
It wasn’t an obvious change, not something you could point to with a specific date. But, something that began to grow when you found yourself seeing him differently.
Maybe it was during one of those times when you had to wait for Sunghoon outside an office—a day when he’d gotten into a fight with another Alpha after his classes.
You were both stuck waiting for your brother, his stubbornness keeping him inside while you and Sunoo were left in an uncomfortable silence.
You’d both sat there, avoiding each other’s gaze as the minutes stretched on, and something inside you felt weird.
The way Sunoo’s eyes would flicker toward you, like he was trying to catch your attention without fully looking at you—as if testing whether you were still there.
You’d meet his gaze for a second, but he’d always look away too quickly, leaving you with the unsettling feeling that there was something he wasn’t saying.
His scent, always so familiar, seemed to hang in the air thicker than usual. It was the heady mixture of rum and neroli you’d come to associate with him—something that screamed ‘Kim Sunoo.’
But now, it felt more intense, like it was seeping into your senses and refusing to let go.
Each inhale felt deeper than the last, and with every breath, your heart began to pound faster.
Your inner Omega reacted before your mind could process it, a soft whimper rising in the back of your throat as your body seemed to crave the closeness, the warmth that Sunoo offered.
“Omega…” Sunoo grumbled under his breath, his voice barely a whisper, but it was enough to make your pulse spike.
His eyes narrowed, his expression flickering with something unreadable as he moved next to you.
“Alpha,” you whispered, more to yourself than to him, trying to force some control back into the situation.
The word barely left your lips before Sunoo let out a breath, his hand brushing against yours, sending another wave of heat coursing through you.
Before you could fully process what was happening, the glass doors to the office burst open with a loud bang, snapping you out of the haze you were in.
Sunghoon stormed out, his face contorted in irritation.
“Let’s go,” he grumbled, his voice laced with anger. He barely spared a glance in your direction before he turned, expecting both of you to follow.
Sunoo stood up immediately, his posture rigid—but not before shooting you one last look.
Now, here you were in the present, sitting next to the pink-haired Alpha in the backseat of the car. He hadn’t said much, just offered you a tight-lipped smile when you briefly met his gaze.
His usual bright smile was gone when it came to you, replaced by something colder. You didn’t know what had changed between you two—only that it had.
And it was driving you crazy.
The school halls felt a little emptier than usual.
You found yourself walking alongside Heeseung’s mate, the two of you falling into a comfortable silence as you made your way toward the library.
“So, how’s your relationship going?” you asked, breaking the silence between the two of you as you both navigated the winding hallway. Your voice was light, almost teasing.
She raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a mischievous grin. “I haven’t seen you in a hot minute, and that’s the first thing you ask me?” she chuckled, nudging your shoulder with her own.
“Guess I should be flattered, huh?”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t hide the smile tugging at the corners of your lips. “Well, it’s not like I have a lot of time to catch up with you,” you replied, voice dripping with mock sarcasm.
“Plus, I’m curious what it’s like to have a mate.”
She let out a dramatic sigh, pressing a hand to her chest. “Well, let me tell you, it’s a whole different world—but not in the way people make it seem.”
You raised an eyebrow, genuinely curious now. “Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be? Like, you find your other half, and everything just… clicks?”
She laughed softly, shaking her head.
“It does click, but not always in the way you think. It’s not just about this perfect connection. You have to understand each other on a level most people never get. And that means sometimes stepping back, compromising, giving up things you thought you wanted.”
You frowned slightly, trying to process what she was saying. “So, it’s not all… smooth sailing?”
“Not at all,” she said with a grin, her expression softening.
The two of you slowed your pace as you reached the library doors, and you couldn’t help but feel a little bit worried.
“Sounds like a lot to take in,” you murmured.
“It is,” she agreed, her expression softening, her voice quieter now. “But when it’s right, it’s worth every bit of effort.”
She paused, glancing at you with a hint of playfulness. “Anyway, enough about me and my romantic life. What about you? Any suitors yet?”
You snorted at her tone. “Oh, definitely not. My stupid brother would never let that happen.”
You couldn’t hide the frustration in your voice. “Honestly, he’d probably pick the guy out himself if he had it his way.”
As you pushed open the library doors, you immediately spotted Sunoo. He was scanning the second aisle of books, his pink hair catching the light as he casually flipped through a book in his hands.
The quiet rustle of pages echoed, but the moment you stepped inside, something changed.
His scent hit you; rum and neroli, as usual, but then, something softer, something sweet and floral lingered in the air, mixing with the familiar fragrance.
Cherries and daisies. Your scent. You hadn’t realized it until now, but it was unmistakable. The realization hit you like a wave, the familiar smell of your scent blending with his in the air around you made your heart race.
Sunoo looked up, his eyes immediately meeting yours, and you felt a jolt in your chest. His gaze flickered toward you faster than you could process, as if the sudden rush of your scent had caught him off guard.
For a moment, he looked like he was trying to figure out what was happening.
The usual cocky grin he wore was gone, replaced by something that looked unsure. The silence stretched between the two of you, hanging in the air.
His lips parted as if to say something but closed again before he could speak, his eyes flickering to the side.
You felt your cheeks warm, a slight blush creeping up as you realized just how much of your scent had made its way to him.
It wasn’t the usual mixture of rum and neroli; it was your scent, swirling around him, and it made everything feel strangely intimate.
After a few seconds, Sunoo cleared his throat, attempting to break the tension.
“Hi,” he said, his voice quieter than usual. His hand went to rub the back of his neck in an awkward gesture. “What’s up?”
“I—I'm just looking for a book,” you said quickly, trying to steady your breathing.
“Right,” Sunoo muttered, his lips pressing into a tight line.
Before either of you could say anything else, Heeseung’s mate, who had been watching the whole exchange with amusement, couldn’t help herself. She stifled a laugh behind her hand, clearly entertained.
At this, Sunoo’s gaze hardened slightly, his jaw tightening as if her subtle teasing had struck a nerve. His eyes flicked to her, sharp and full of irritation.
Before he could even retort, a familiar voice called out from across the library, breaking the silence.
“Dude, come on!” It was Ni-ki, his usual energy apparent even in his rushed tone.
He was standing near the library entrance, waving a hand as if trying to pull Sunoo out of whatever awkward interaction he’d just walked into.
Sunoo sighed, running a hand through his hair before nodding at Ni-ki. “Yeah, I’m coming,” he said, his voice strained.
He hesitated for a moment, his eyes flicking toward you once more before he turned and started walking toward the door.
Ni-ki, however, didn’t seem to miss the stiffness his friend carried. As Sunoo approached him, Ni-ki raised an eyebrow, his gaze darting between you and Sunoo with a smirk slowly creeping onto his face.
“Not a word,” Sunoo snapped, his voice firm as he grabbed the younger by the arm and dragged him out of the library before he could say anything else.
The doors swung shut behind them, leaving you and Heeseung’s mate standing there. She let out a low whistle, clearly entertained by the exchange.
“Well, that was… something,” she said, raising an eyebrow at you.
You groaned, burying your face in your hands as the heat of embarrassment crept up your neck.
“Don’t start,” you muttered, but the sound of her soft laugh made it clear she already had.
“Come on,” she teased lightly, nudging your shoulder.
“You have to admit, that was a little intense. And considering the fact that he’s your brother’s best friend…” Her voice trailed off knowingly, leaving the rest unsaid.
Your cheeks flamed even hotter, and you dared a glance at the already closed door, heart still racing from the look Sunoo had given you before leaving.
With a heavy sigh, you whispered, “I know.”
Ni-ki wore a smug grin as he and Sunoo made their way down the hallway toward Jungwon’s classroom. The pink-haired alpha kept his head down, his jaw tight, while Ni-ki practically bounced with every step.
“You know,” Ni-ki started, his tone dripping with mischief, “I could smell your scent from a mile away.” He wrinkled his nose in exaggerated disgust, throwing a glance at Sunoo.
“And, man, it went sour the second you came near me. Wonder why?”
Sunoo shot him a glare, his fists clenching at his sides. “Shut up, you brat,” he muttered through gritted teeth, though the flush on his cheeks betrayed his emotions.
Ni-ki just laughed. “Relax, I’m just saying. You sure you’re not catching feelings?” His voice was light, and the teasing tone in it made Sunoo’s brows knit even tighter.
By the time they reached Jungwon’s classroom, Sunoo’s patience was wearing thin.
Ni-ki opened the door without hesitation, poking his head in. “Hey, President! We have a meeting.”
Jungwon looked up from his desk, his sharp eyes instantly narrowing as they landed on Sunoo.
His nose scrunched as he groaned. “What the fuck, Sunoo? What’s up with your scent? It’s all over the place.”
Sunoo let out an exasperated sigh, rubbing his temples as if trying to push down a rising headache. “It’s nothing,” he said firmly as he shot Jungwon a pointed look.
“Can we just go? Get your ass up there before Ni-ki starts running his mouth again.”
But Ni-ki wasn’t done. He leaned casually against the doorframe, his grin widening. “Oh, he’s not exaggerating, though. Your scent’s practically begging for attention right now.”
“Ni-ki!” Sunoo snapped, his voice rising. His cheeks were now a bright red.
He shot Jungwon another look as his footsteps were already moving back toward the hallway.
Jungwon sighed, closing his book as he trailed behind Sunoo and Ni-ki. His sharp eyes flicked between the two, lingering on Sunoo’s unusually tense shoulders.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this worked up,” Jungwon commented. “What happened?”
“I already told you, it’s nothing,” Sunoo said through gritted teeth, his pace quickening as if he could outrun the conversation. His hands were stuffed into his pockets, fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
Jungwon raised an eyebrow. “Dude, I’m just concerned.” He stepped closer to Sunoo, his gaze scrutinizing. “And why does your scent keep spiking like that? It’s—” he wrinkled his nose again, “—weirdly sweet.”
“Woah, which one of you reeks of Omega?” Jake’s voice cut through the tense atmosphere as he walked up from the opposite end of the hallway, his eyebrows raised in confusion.
He stopped a few feet away, his sharp gaze sweeping over the group before settling on the pink-haired Alpha.
All of them turned to look at Sunoo, who visibly tensed under their stares. His scent, usually subtle, was undeniably different now; sweet and overwhelming, like cherries and daisies after a summer rain.
Jake’s eyes widened slightly as the realization hit. “Oh, it’s you,” he said, pointing at Sunoo, a teasing smirk spreading across his face.
“What the hell, dude? I thought you didn’t want a mate. Sunghoon’s gonna lose his mind if he catches a whiff of this.”
Sunoo groaned, his jaw tightening even further. “For the hundredth fucking time, it’s nothing,” he snapped, his voice low.
Jake wasn’t having it. He stepped closer, his eyes holding nothing but amusement. “Nothing? Seriously?” He let out a chuckle, leaning casually against the wall.
“Because from what I’m smelling—” he broke into another laugh, “it doesn’t sound like nothing.”
And just like Ni-ki, Jake was far from being done. He leaned in slightly, his tone dropping into something more serious. “Just saying, Sunoo. You smell like you’ve already claimed her as your Omega.”
Sunoo’s patience finally snapped. He stepped forward, his shoulders tense as he grabbed Jake’s collar. “I already told you, it’s fucking nothing!” he growled, his fangs bared for the brief est second before he caught himself.
His voice echoed down the hallway, sharp and raw. He took a shaky breath, forcing his expression back under control, before spitting out, “Can we just drop it?”
The hallway fell silent for a moment, the tension thick between them. Jungwon sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as he exchanged a glance with Jake and Ni-ki.
“Alright, let’s go,” Jungwon muttered.
Sunoo turned on his heel, his head held high as he stormed off down the hallway, the weight of his barely restrained temper lingering in the air.
The council meeting dragged on longer than expected, leaving everyone tired but relieved as everything finally wrapped up.
Jay stretched his arms over his head while Jake clapped his hands together, his signature smile plastered on his face.
Before anyone could leave, Sunghoon stood up, leaning casually against the table. “Before we all go home to suffer through whatever my family has planned for us this weekend,” he started, glancing around the room.
“I’m throwing a party at our place. Consider it a little pregame before we have to suffer through whatever formalities my family has planned.”
“Your place?” Jay asked, raising an eyebrow. “You sure about that?”
“Yeah, well, we’ll deal with it,” Sunghoon replied with a shrug. “I’ll handle everything. You guys just show up and try not to burn the house down, okay?” He flashed his trademark smirk.
Heeseung snickered, leaning back in his chair. “No promises, man.”
Sunghoon rolled his eyes. “You guys are exhausting. Just be there, okay?”
Sunghoon grabbed his bag from the chair beside him, slinging it over his shoulder with a casual flick of his wrist. He glanced at Sunoo, who was still looking through his phone.
“Come on, man,” Sunghoon said, nudging Sunoo with his elbow. “Let’s head out. Don’t make me wait on you.”
Sunoo gave a short nod but didn’t respond immediately. He slipped his phone into his pocket and grabbed his own bag, standing up and following Sunghoon to the door.
But Sunghoon stopped just before they reached it, pausing for a moment. “Actually, you go ahead,” he said, glancing at Sunoo. “I need to make a few calls before we head out. Wait for me at the car.”
Sunoo nodded, albeit with a slight frown. “Alright. Don’t take too long.”
With that, Sunghoon waved off Sunoo and headed back to the council room. The pink-haired Alpha turned and walked out of the building, his footsteps echoing down the hallway.
The cool evening air hit him as soon as he stepped outside, but it wasn’t the chill that made him pause—it was your scent.
Cherries and daisies. Sweet and distracting. It clung to the air around the car parked near the curb, faint at first, then stronger the closer he walked.
Sunoo’s nose twitched as he instinctively inhaled, only to immediately scowl at himself. His jaw tightened, and he muttered under his breath, “I really need to get all of my cars fixed… don’t know how long I can hold back with you showing up like this.”
He shoved his hands into his pockets, trying to school his expression into something unreadable before his eyes finally lifted—only to see you already there.
You were standing near the car, scrolling through your phone, oblivious to the turmoil you’d just sent him into.
The sound of footsteps reached your ears, mixed with the muddled trace of familiar Alpha scents. For a second, you assumed it was both Sunghoon and Sunoo walking toward you. But when you looked up—
Instead of both of them, it was just Sunoo.
He slowed his pace as he neared you, his eyes meeting yours for a moment before darting away. His posture was more stiff than usual, like he was trying to keep himself together despite the tension.
He cleared his throat, offering a small smile, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“Your brother had to make a few calls,” he said, trying to keep his tone light, though it didn’t sound quite as casual as he intended. “He’ll be out in a bit.”
You raised an eyebrow, noting the way he avoided your gaze. Something was different about him—it seemed like he was even more avoidant than before.
You leaned a little more against the car, letting your phone slip into your pocket.
“Oh, alright. I was expecting you both,” you said, keeping your tone light. “Guess it’s just you for now.”
Sunoo’s gaze met yours briefly, but he quickly looked away, the tension between you two rising just from the quietness that surrounded you.
“Yeah,” Sunoo replied, his voice quieter than usual. “He’ll catch up soon.”
You both stood there, the silence stretching on a little too long for your liking. Every time you shifted slightly, the pureblooded Alpha’s eyes flickered toward you, only to dart away quickly when you looked in his direction.
Sunoo’s gaze wandered back to you, though his eyes lingered longer this time. His brows furrowed just slightly, as if trying to figure something out—something that was clearly confusing him.
His hands, tucked into his pockets, clenched and unclenched as if he were trying to control his inner Alpha.
He was trying to keep it together, but you could tell he was struggling, and it only made the tension between you two worse. Your scent—the cherries and daisies that always clung to you—seemed to hit him harder now than it ever had before.
He kept his head down at times, shaking it slightly, as if trying to will the thoughts away. But it was impossible.
Before the silence could swallow you whole, a familiar figure came into view. Sunghoon, bag slung over his shoulder, was walking toward you both, his sharp eyes landing on you.
When he noticed Sunoo, his gaze narrowed for a moment before he pushed the door open and got into the driver’s seat.
Sunoo visibly relaxed when Sunghoon appeared, his shoulders easing.
You noticed the way Sunghoon’s gaze flicked between you two, almost as if trying to get a reaction out of you, before his expression softened.
“Let’s go,” Sunghoon muttered, his tone light, but you caught the faintest hint of annoyance to it.
As you got in, Sunghoon’s eyes lingered on Sunoo for a moment, an unreadable look being exchanged between them before he turned his attention back to you.
The car ride back to your house was suffocating with the silence between Sunghoon and Sunoo. Their usual playful banter was absent, making it feel like there was a thick wall between them.
Sunghoon’s hands gripped the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles turned white, his jaw clenched, and his eyes were fixed ahead, not once glancing at Sunoo.
When your brother finally pulled up to your house, he didn’t even look at you as he parked the car.
“Go on, I’ll go home later, I’m going to hang with Sunoo a bit at his place,” he said, his tone flat, though he didn’t make eye contact.
You hesitated, still confused by the strange tension between the two of them, but Sunghoon wasn’t one to order you around if nothing was up.
You opened the car door and stepped out, the cool air hitting your skin as you closed it behind you. But as soon as you turned to head inside, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t right.
Inside the car, Sunghoon didn’t waste any time. As soon as the door slammed shut, he put the car in gear and pulled away, his face hard as stone. He spoke again, his tone colder than before.
“Sunoo,” he said, his voice low, full of suppressed rage. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
The pink-haired Alpha didn’t immediately respond, his eyes flicking to Sunghoon’s, and the words that followed were filled with frustration.
“What the fuck are you saying?” Sunoo spat. His tone was angry, but there was a hint of nervousness he couldn’t hide.
He was defensive, like he was trying to convince himself more than Sunghoon. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Sunghoon’s eyes darkened, and he slammed his hand against the steering wheel.
“Don’t lie to me. I saw the way you were looking at her, at (Y/N). You think I didn’t notice? You’re not fooling anyone, Sunoo. You’ve made it clear you don’t want a mate, so don’t start acting like you care about my sister. She’s not some fucking toy for you to play with.”
Sunoo’s breath caught in his throat. The words hit him like a punch. His anger rose and his pulse quickened, but he wasn’t ready to back down.
He was Kim Sunoo, for god’s sake. A pureblooded Alpha. The one everyone looked up to, admired, even worshipped as if he were some sort of god.
People didn’t question him. They didn’t dare. They whispered his name in admiration, gazed at him with awe, and hung onto every word that fell from his lips. He was always in control, always the one holding all the cards.
Yet here he was, sitting in Sunghoon’s car, feeling like a cornered animal.
“I’m not—” his voice cut off. His eyes narrowed, and his jaw tightened.
“You’ve lost your mind. You think I’m some kind of… what? A threat? To (Y/N)?” He scoffed, shaking his head. “I don’t even—”
But the words got caught in his throat, the sheer audacity of Sunghoon’s words sparking something primal that clawed its way to the surface.
“I don’t need your fucking lectures,” Sunoo snapped, his voice rising, laced with frustration and something darker. “You think you can just sit there and tell me what to feel? Like you know everything about me?”
Sunghoon’s grip on the steering wheel tightened, his knuckles turning white. His voice, cold, cut through Sunoo’s anger like a blade.
“I know enough, Sunoo. I know what you’re capable of. You’ve always been able to have whatever you wanted, and you never cared about the mess you left behind. I’ve seen it. I’ve cleaned it up.”
Sunoo flinched, his jaw tightening as the words dug into him. “You think I’d do that to her? To your sister?” he practically spat the words, his voice trembling with disbelief and something he couldn’t quite place: shame, maybe, though he wasn’t about to admit it.
“Do you even hear yourself right now?”
“Yes, I do,” Sunghoon spat back, his glare sharp enough to draw blood, and the fire in his eyes kept on burning.
“And you’d better hear me too. I don’t care who you are, Sunoo. I don’t care how many people bow at your feet or how many Omegas line up just for a glance from you. She’s not one of them. She’s not yours to toy with.”
Sunoo slumped slightly, the words hitting him harder than he expected. He opened his mouth to argue, to lash back, but the weight of his own best friend’s anger pressed down on him.
Sunghoon’s voice lowered, the cold anger hinting at something even more dangerous: protectiveness.
“You’ve built your reputation on being untouchable like the rest of us, Sunoo.” Sunghoon scoffed, his knuckles whitening against the steering wheel. “On being the Alpha no one can resist.”
He leaned back, his jaw tightening before his gaze snapped toward Sunoo again. “But this time it’s different.” His voice dropped lower, rougher. “She’s different.”
Sunghoon’s glare sharpened, the fire in his eyes unrelenting. “And I’m not going to let you drag her into whatever this is.” He exhaled harshly, the sound more of a growl than a sigh. “So if you can’t figure your shit out, then stay the hell away from her.”
His tone hit colder, more final, as he finished: “Not her, Sunoo. Not my sister.”
The silence that followed was deafening, the tension in the car so heavy it was almost suffocating. Sunoo turned his gaze to the window, his jaw tight and his chest heaving.
He wanted to say something, anything; but the words refused to come. For the first time in his life, Kim Sunoo didn’t know what to say.
And that terrified him.
The bass of the music slammed through the walls of your room, shaking the floor beneath your feet as muffled laughter and indistinct chatter filled the air.
The faint stench of alcohol wafted in from downstairs, mixing with the faint scent of perfume you’d just sprayed.
You stood in front of your vanity, mascara in hand, carefully brushing it through your lashes.
Despite the loud party happening just a floor below, your mind was miles away, spinning relentlessly over the events of the day.
Your brother's voice echoed in your head, commanding and impossible to ignore. “Go on.”
His expression was hard, his tone leaving no room for argument, and his eyes held something you couldn’t quite place. Anger? Frustration? And then, hours later, when he finally came home, his jaw was set tight and his movements sharp.
He’d brushed it off entirely. “Pay it no mind,” he’d said, as if you could.
You blinked, startled as Jungwon’s mate’s voice broke through your thoughts.
“Well, don’t you look pretty,” she said with a teasing tone, her warm smile reflected in the mirror beside you. She leaned against the edge of the bed, holding a glass of wine, her relaxed posture a contrast to your tense one.
You managed a small laugh, the corners of your lips twitching up as you capped your mascara. “Thanks,” you muttered, setting the tube down on the vanity.
“I mean, you always do,” she continued, waving her hand as if it were obvious. “Your genes are just unfair, honestly.”
She paused, tilting her head with a mischievous grin. “But tonight, I don’t know… there’s something different. You might just find yourself an Alpha.”
“I’d kill to have your genes,” Heeseung’s mate chimed in from where she was perched on the armrest of a chair, twirling the stem of her own wine glass between her fingers.
“The rest of us have to try, but you? You just wake up looking like that.”
You laughed lightly. “Okay, calm down, it’s not that serious,” you replied, though a faint blush crept up your neck.
“Oh, it is,” Jungwon’s mate insisted, sitting up straighter. She gestured at you with her drink. “Half the Alphas downstairs are probably already talking about you, and you’re not even there yet.”
You rolled your eyes, about to deflect when a knock at the door broke through the conversation. All three of you turned toward it just as it cracked open slightly.
“Hey—” Ni-ki’s voice came from the hallway as he peeked his head inside, his dark hair slightly messy and his tie undone.
His teasing grin widened when he spotted you. “Oh, look who’s not ready yet. Should’ve known.”
“What do you want, Ni-ki?” you asked, crossing your arms but unable to suppress a small smile at his antics.
He leaned against the doorframe, his expression mischievous as his gaze darted between the three of you. “Well, for one, Jungwon and Heeseung are downstairs losing their minds trying to figure out where these two are,” he said, directing his words to the other two Omegas in the room.
Both women groaned, rolling their eyes in unison.
“Of course they are,” Heeseung’s mate muttered, setting her glass down. “They’re so clingy sometimes.”
“Tell them we’re having girl time,” Jungwon’s mate added with a dismissive wave. “They’ll survive.”
Ni-ki shrugged. “Suit yourselves. Just don’t blame me when they come storming up here.” His gaze flicked back to you, and his grin turned into something more teasing.
“And you.”
You raised an eyebrow at him. “What about me?”
“Oh, nothing,” Ni-ki replied, his voice dripping with mock innocence. “Just wondering if you’re planning to make an entrance tonight or if you’re hiding up here for a reason. You know…” he paused dramatically.
“Like maybe avoiding someone?”
Your stomach twisted, and you tensed at his words. Sunoo’s name was unspoken, but the implication was clear.
You avoided the curious gazes of Jungwon’s and Heeseung’s mates, focusing instead on smoothing down your dress as if that could steady the nervousness coursing through you.
“I’m not avoiding anyone,” you said quickly, though your voice came out a little too defensive. “Why would I be?”
Ni-ki’s smirk grew, his eyes catching every flicker of your unease. “No reason,” he said casually, though his tone said otherwise.
“But, you know, Sunoo’s downstairs already. Thought you’d want to know.”
Your fingers tightened around the edge of your dress, but you forced a calm expression, brushing past his words with a shrug. “Thanks for the update, Ni-ki. Anything else?”
Ni-ki let out a low chuckle, pushing off the doorframe. “Nope, that’s it. I’ll let the boys know their precious mates are alive and well.” He shot you one last knowing glance before disappearing down the hall.
Heeseung’s mate arched an eyebrow at you. “Something you want to share?”
“Nope,” you replied quickly, standing to avoid their probing stares. “Let’s head down before Jungwon and Heeseung actually come looking for you.”
The two Omegas exchanged a look, clearly not convinced by your avoidance, but they didn’t push further. With a quiet sigh and a shake of their heads, they trailed after you, their heels clicking softly against the floor.
As you descended the staircase, the music grew louder, the distinct stench of alcohol mixed with the overwhelming blend of scents—some sharp and dominating, others softer and more inviting—hit you like a wave.
The mingling of Alpha and Omega pheromones in the air made your head spin slightly, but you quickly composed yourself, steadying your breath.
The party was in full swing by the time you reached the ground floor. Laughter blended with the music. You got lost through the crowd, your gaze scanning the room for familiar faces.
A few Alphas glanced your way as you passed, their eyes lingering a second too long, but you paid them no mind. Your focus was on finding the one group that always stood out: your brother and his closest friends.
There they were, gathered in a corner near the back of the living room—a bunch of Alphas that demanded attention without trying. No one dared approach them, not even the boldest partygoers.
They were untouchable, and everyone in the room knew it. The Alphas who tried too hard to impress, the Omegas who stole glances—they all kept their distance.
Even from afar, you could see why. Jungwon’s sharp gaze swept over the room like a predator assessing his territory, while Jake leaned casually against the wall, his smile charming yet unreadable.
Heeseung reeked of confidence, sipping from his drink as if he had nothing to prove, while Ni-ki and Jay stood close, their presence equally magnetic.
As if there was a warning sign above them that seemed to say: ‘come close at your own risk.’
Then there was Sunoo, his fox-like eyes gleaming under the dim light, observing the room with an intensity that made you feel as though he saw everything without even trying.
He was effortless in the way he held himself—his posture relaxed but his presence was everything, as if daring anyone to come close. His lips curved into a faint smirk, but it never reached his eyes.
For a moment, your breath hitched as his eyes flicked in your direction. It wasn’t a lingering stare, but something about the brief glance sent a jolt through you, like he’d caught you looking and wanted you to know it.
You quickly tore your gaze away, pretending to focus on something else.
You straightened your shoulders, forcing yourself to focus as you made your way toward the group, with Heeseung’s mate and Jungwon’s mate trailing close behind.
Jay was the closest to you, leaning casually with his drink in hand.
You stepped up to him, barely giving yourself time to hesitate before asking, “Where’s Sunghoon?”
Jay tilted his head, a knowing smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “Last I saw, he was playing the host, chatting up some guests by the back patio.”
He took a sip from his drink before adding, “You know your brother—always trying to keep things in check.”
Your brows furrowed as you glanced in the direction he pointed, but Sunghoon was nowhere in sight. “Did he say anything about leaving?” you asked, trying to keep the worry from creeping into your voice.
Jay shook his head, his grin widening slightly as he caught a glimpse of Sunoo, who had moved a step closer. The flicker of something—irritation, jealousy, maybe both—in Sunoo’s fox-like eyes didn’t escape Jay.
“Nope,” Jay said, his tone casual. “He’s probably just busy. Relax, will you? It’s a party.”
His gaze flicked between you and Sunoo, and the amusement in his eyes deepened. “Enjoy yourself. Who knows? You might even catch someone’s attention tonight.”
The way he said it was so pointed that your cheeks flushed, and you stammered out a response, “I’m not—no, that’s not—”
But Jay’s smirk only grew, and he leaned in slightly, lowering his voice like he was doing it on purpose. “Don’t worry. You’ve definitely already caught someone’s eye.”
Before you could even process his words, a sharp, distinct smell flared through the air, piercing through the mix of alcohol, sweat, and pheromones that spread through the room.
The smell of rum hit your nose—strong and intoxicating—but it wasn’t coming from Jake’s drink; and it made your chest tighten.
Your eyes shifted to Sunoo almost instinctively. His expression was unreadable, his fingers gripping the glass in his hand tighter than necessary, the faint clink of ice shifting barely audible over the music.
His fox-like eyes, which normally held a teasing glint, were locked on Jay, bordering on threatening.
It didn’t take much to connect the dots.
The flaring scent wasn’t just the alcohol in the room—it was him, Sunoo, struggling to keep his emotions in check. His gaze flickered to you briefly before he quickly looked away.
Jay noticed too. Of course, he did. The smirk on his face twisted into something more mischievous.
“Relax, Sunoo,” Jay said, his tone light but loaded, clearly meant to push the Alpha’s buttons. “No need to look so angry. I’m just saying she’s a catch, that’s all.”
The glass in Sunoo’s hand creaked faintly under the pressure of his grip. “You talk too much,” he muttered.
Your heart hammered in your chest as the tension between the two Alphas crackled like static in the air.
You swallowed hard, forcing a nervous laugh to break the awkwardness. “I’ll just… go find Sunghoon,” you said quickly, taking a step back.
But even as you turned to leave, you could feel Sunoo’s gaze following. The smell of rum still lingered, and it seemed to follow you out of the room like a shadow.
The back patio was quiet compared to the chaos inside. The music was muffled, and the cool night air was a contrast to the stuffy heat of the party.
You glanced around, searching for any sign of Sunghoon, but the space was practically deserted except for a few people sitting on the edge of the patio.
You sighed, frustration bubbling up. Jay’s directions had been vague at best, and for all you knew, your brother could be anywhere.
“Great,” you muttered to yourself, rubbing your arms as a slight chill crept in.
“He’s probably busy making out with some random Omega,” a familiar voice drawled behind you, the words dripping with a mix of sarcasm and something bitter.
You turned to find Sunoo leaning against the doorframe, his figure backlit by the dim glow of the house.
His fox-like eyes were unreadable, like the Alpha was holding back more than he was saying.
The way his arms were crossed over his chest, fingers tapping against his bicep, only added to the tension that seemed to follow him everywhere tonight.
“Excuse me?” you replied, eyebrows raising.
Sunoo shrugged, but the motion was anything but casual. The slight quirk of his lips wasn’t a smile—it was a challenge. “What?” he said, his tone deceptively light.
“It’s not like it’s the first time. Sunghoon’s great at disappearing when there’s a pretty Omega around to distract him.”
“You sound like you’ve done that more than once,” you retorted, your voice sharp, unable to mask the sting of his words.
You stood your ground, eyes narrowing as you crossed your arms, unwilling to back down.
Sunoo’s jaw tightened at your words, and for a split second, you saw the flash of something in his eyes—hurt? Anger? It was hard to tell. But before you could process it, he took a step forward.
“I’m not having this argument with you, (Y/N),” he bit out, his voice low, like he was trying to keep himself under control. “You don’t get it.”
You took a step closer. “No, I don’t think you get it, Sunoo,” you retorted, your voice cutting through the tension between you.
“You always avoid everything—avoid me, avoid the truth. You act like you’re protecting me, but it’s just you trying to keep things safe, trying to keep everything easy for yourself. But it’s not working anymore.”
Without warning, Sunoo stepped closer, his hand shooting out to grip your waist, pulling you flush against him.
The sudden move took you by surprise, your breath hitching as his hold tightened, his fingers digging into your skin. The heat of his body, the closeness, his intoxicating scent sent a wave of dizziness through you.
His voice dropped to a whisper, right against your ear. “Sunghoon implanted it into my brain, (Y/N),” his words were almost a growl.
“You’re off-limits. I’m bad for you. You don’t get it, do you?”
You gasped, your breath shaky as you tried to push him away, but he only pulled you closer, his chest pressing against yours. His gaze locked with yours, eyes dark and intense.
“You don’t understand what you’re doing to me. Every time I look at you, I’m reminded of the things I can’t have. The things I can’t do.”
Your heart pounded in your chest, the feeling of his hands on your waist sending your mind into a whirlwind of emotions.
You couldn’t deny the way your inner Omega and body reacted to him, but you shoved the thoughts down.
“You think I’m some fucking distraction?” you spat, your voice laced with frustration. “You think I’m just going to sit back and watch you avoid me because of my brother?”
His grip tightened, and for a moment, the intensity of his presence pressed down on you so much that you almost couldn’t breathe.
“Yes,” he said, his voice hard, like steel.
“Because it’s not just about what you want—it’s about what I need to protect myself from. From you. From this.”
His thumb traced a line along your waist, and the action only made the heat between you two more unbearable. “You make me want things I can’t have.”
You shook your head, frustration boiling over.
“ So, what? You’re going to keep me at arm’s length because of something he said?” you snapped, your voice louder than intended, laced with disbelief.
“You’re just going to keep avoiding this because of some stupid rule Sunghoon created?”
The hardness in Sunoo’s gaze faltered for a brief second—then it returned, sharper. His hand shot out, gripping your arm, pulling you close enough that your breath hitched.
The chill of the night dissolved instantly beneath the heat radiating between you. His eyes softened for the faintest moment before his jaw clenched again.
“I never wanted a mate, (Y/N),” he said, his voice strained. “Not when we were younger. I didn’t care about that stuff. All I wanted was to be free. But then we got older… and things changed.”
His gaze flickered to the ground, as if the words cost him everything.
“And then I saw you, and everything I thought I knew—everything I thought I wanted—started to crumble. But that’s the thing, (Y/N). I can’t just fall into something like this. Not with you. Not with anyone.”
Your heart twisted painfully, his confession burning deeper than any rejection could.
You opened your mouth, desperate to fight him on it, but he stepped back, releasing your arm like touching you had already gone too far.
“I can’t risk it,” he muttered, shaking his head. “You don’t get it. I didn’t want a mate. I didn’t want an Omega to call my own. I didn’t want to care. But I do. And that’s the problem. I can’t have you. And I won’t.”
Your pulse thundered, a mixture of frustration, anger, and longing threatening to tear you apart. You couldn’t let him walk away, not like this—not when every word out of his mouth contradicted the heat in his eyes.
Without thinking, you grabbed his collar, yanking him toward you with a force that made his breath catch. His eyes widened, startled, but before he could push you away, you crushed your lips against his.
The kiss wasn’t soft. It wasn’t careful. It was fire—months of suppressed instincts and denied cravings colliding in one brutal, hungry clash. Your lips moved against his with desperation, teeth clashing, tongues seeking dominance. It was messy, feral, and utterly consuming.
Sunoo groaned into the kiss, the sound deep and guttural, vibrating against your lips. His hands—strong, trembling with restraint—snapped to your waist, fingers digging into your flesh like he was terrified you’d disappear if he didn’t hold you close enough.
He pulled you flush against his chest, your bodies pressed so tightly together you could feel every shudder of his restraint unraveling.
His scent crashed over you, overwhelming, sharp and intoxicating, sinking deep into your lungs until you were drowning in him.
Your inner Omega howled in recognition, clawing at you from the inside, desperate to submit, desperate to be claimed. The bond tugged mercilessly, begging for him.
A whimper slipped past your lips, betraying how much you needed him. The sound seemed to break something in him. He growled low in his throat, kissing you harder, hungrier, his mouth moving against yours like he’d been starving for you his entire life.
His tongue slid against yours with sinful precision, tasting you, devouring you.
You fisted his shirt, pulling him closer, needing more, needing all of him. His heartbeat slammed against your chest, in perfect sync with your own racing pulse.
Every touch, every drag of his hands, every bite of his lips felt like a brand against your skin.
In his arms, you felt wanted, claimed—like no one else in the world existed but the two of you. He wasn’t just some pureblooded Alpha. He was your Alpha. And you were his Omega.
But then, too soon, he tore his lips from yours, panting heavily. His forehead pressed against yours, his breath shaky, his hands still locked around your waist like he couldn’t let go even if he wanted to.
His eyes burned into yours—softer now, conflicted, but still hungry.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he whispered, almost like a promise and a curse at the same time.
Sunoo’s gaze softened further, and a smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
“You don’t know how long I’ve been trying to fight this,” he whispered, his voice low, almost a confession. “But I can’t anymore. Not with you.”
A shaky laugh escaped you before you could stop it.
“I don’t want you to fight it anymore,” you admitted, your voice trembling. “I don’t want to fight this, either. Not with you.”
Without another word, the pink-haired Alpha pulled you back inside, his hand never leaving your waist, his grip steady as he ignored the people around you, who were too caught up in their own worlds to even notice.
It didn’t matter. It was just the two of you now.
He led you through the halls, and when he reached the door, he didn’t hesitate, didn’t need to ask. He knew where your room was, his senses guiding him effortlessly. It was like your scent had already marked the space for him.
He opened the door, his body pressing into yours as he kicked it closed with his foot. In an instant, his lips found yours again.
It was like you had been waiting for this forever, and now that you were here, you didn’t want to let go.
His kiss was deeper this time, more desperate, as if he couldn’t get enough of you, as if this was the only thing that mattered in the world.
The heat from his body collided with yours, and you could feel his heart racing against your chest, matching the frantic pace of your own.
You sighed into the kiss, the feeling of his lips on yours so intoxicating that your head spun.
Without breaking contact, he pushed you against the door, the pressure of his body reminding you of how close you two were. His hands roamed to your waist, pulling you in even closer.
The kiss became more demanding, more intense, as your hands found their way into his hair, tugging him closer.
The world around you disappeared. There was only him, only the feel of his lips and the heat of his touch.
“Jump,” Sunoo murmured into the kiss, his voice low and commanding, yet somehow full of need. His hands slid down your body, urging you to respond, to give in to him fully.
You didn’t think twice. Without hesitation, you wrapped your legs around him, and he caught you with ease, lifting you effortlessly. The way his body moved with yours felt surreal as you melted into him, every ounce of you craving more.
He gently laid you down on the bed, hovering over you, his body warm against yours. The space between you was almost non-existent, your chests rising and falling in time with the rapid beat of your hearts.
He leaned down, brushing a strand of hair from your face, his gaze intense.
“Do you really want this?” His voice was soft, almost tender, but there was seriousness beneath it that made you pause for a moment.
Your breath hitched, but you nodded, wanting this more than anything. You needed him. The words were on the tip of your tongue, but your body was saying it all already.
But Sunoo wasn’t satisfied with just that. His eyes showed something deeper that made your stomach tighten with both excitement and a hint of fear.
“Words, baby. I need words.” His tone softened.
You swallowed hard, your heartbeat quickening. You could feel the weight of his gaze on you, and suddenly, it was harder to breathe, harder to speak. But you knew what you wanted—what your omega needed.
“Yes,” you breathed out, your voice barely above a whisper. “I want this, Sunoo. I want you.”
His eyes darkened, and he leaned in again, capturing your lips in a kiss that was all heat, all want, all raw desire. You could feel everything in that kiss: his hesitation, his longing, and his need for you just as much as you needed him.
You let out a soft whine, almost biting your lower lip in an attempt to control the rush of emotions running through you.
Sunoo chuckled against your lips, the sound low and dark, vibrating through your chest.
“I got you, baby,” he whispered, his voice low and husky, sending a thrill through your entire body.
Your body trembled the moment his lips found the soft spot on your neck, his warm breath sending shivers down your spine.
His hands began to tease the hem of your short dress, his fingers grazing the skin of your thighs, drawing slow circles with the tips of his fingers.
“Mhmm,” you gasped, biting your lip, your eyes fluttering closed as his lips left a trail of heated kisses along your neck—teasing, torturing you with every press of his mouth.
You could feel the pressure building, your body responding to his touch in ways you couldn’t control.
“Alpha…” A tiny moan slipped from your lips when you felt his hand brush closer to your core, the heat between your legs intensifying as his fingers inched nearer.
The sound of his title on your lips only seemed to fuel him more, his grip tightening around your waist.
His fingers swirled around your clothed entrance, collecting the wetness seeping through your panties.
Strands of his pink hair fell over his forehead as your breaths came in shallow gasps, your body arching toward his touch.
Sunoo’s eyes never left yours as his fingers finally made contact with your throbbing core, sliding your panties effortlessly to the side as his fingers slipped between your folds.
The sensation was overwhelming, and you couldn’t help but arch your back, pressing yourself closer to him. His thumb circled your sensitive clit, sending shockwaves of pleasure through your body.
You arched into his touch, desperate for more friction. Sunoo’s dark eyes burned with desire as he watched your reactions, clearly enjoying the power he had over you.
“Such a responsive omega,” he murmured, his hot breath fanning across your skin. “I’ve barely touched you and you’re already falling apart.”
Before you could beg for more, Sunoo pulled back slightly, bunching your dress up around your hips with one hand.
His fingers strayed away from your core, leaving you whimpering at the loss of his touch. He only chuckled, lifting his hand to lightly brush against your cheek.
“Not so fast,” he teased, his voice low and sensual. “I want to take my time with you.”
Your heart raced at his words, knowing that Sunoo was always one for attention to detail. He leaned down to capture your lips in a passionate kiss as his hands tugged at your dress, finally pulling it all the way down, leaving you exposed.
His hand traveled down your body to cup your breast. You moaned into his mouth as he massaged the soft flesh, his thumb teasing your hardened nipple through the fabric of your bra.
You arched into his touch, craving more of him. Sunoo broke the kiss and trailed hot kisses down your neck, nipping at the sensitive skin as he slowly removed your bra.
His lips moved lower and lower until they reached the swell of your breasts, his tongue darting out to circle around one nipple while his hand played with the other.
You could feel yourself getting wetter by the second, desperate for your alpha’s touch between your legs once again. But he continued to take his time, worshipping every part of you with his mouth and hands.
Finally, when you think you can’t take it anymore, Sunoo’s fingers return to where they were before, teasing at your entrance. This time, he dips a finger inside you, and you gasp at the sudden intrusion.
“More,” you plead, looking up at him with desperate eyes.
The pink-haired alpha smirks down at you before adding another finger and curling them inside of you. Your walls clench tightly around him as he hits that perfect spot, sending sparks flying through your body.
He keeps the rhythm steady, relentless, until you’re practically begging for release. With one final thrust of his fingers, you come undone, your body trembling as you ride out your high.
Sunoo slowly pulled your panties down, positioning himself between your legs as he knelt at the side of the bed. Your heart raced as you watched him, a mix of anticipation and nervousness swirling inside you.
As if sensing your thoughts, Sunoo leaned down, pressing a soft kiss against your forehead, his hands roaming over your thighs.
“You’re so beautiful,” he whispered before trailing kisses down your stomach.
Your skin tingled at his words and touch, and you couldn’t help but spread your legs wider for him.
Sunoo’s lips moved lower, leaving a trail of kisses and open-mouthed bites along your inner thighs.
His tongue flicked over the sensitive skin before he pulled back just enough to let his hot breath fan against your soaked panties.
You gasped when he suddenly pressed his mouth against your clothed core, dragging his tongue slowly up your slick seam. The fabric clung to you, damp with your arousal, and he groaned low in his throat.
“Fuck, omega… you’re dripping already,” he murmured, his voice muffled against you.
He hooked a finger under the waistband and yanked the thin barrier aside, exposing your glistening folds to his hungry gaze.
Before you could say anything, his tongue flattened against your slit, dragging upward in one long lick that had your whole body jerking. He circled your clit with the tip before giving it a sharp flick, making you cry out.
“Sensitive, aren’t you?” Sunoo smirked, his mouth glistening as he licked his lips. “I’ll have you screaming in minutes.”
He dove back in, his tongue lapping at your slick, drinking you down like he’d been starved for it.
Every move was messy and greedy—licking, sucking, nipping at your swollen bud until your thighs trembled against his shoulders.
You whimpered, hips bucking forward, but he held you in place with a firm grip on your thighs. His tongue teasingly circled your entrance before pressing inside, thrusting shallowly as your wetness coated his lips and chin.
The sensation made you choke on a moan, your hands tangling desperately in his soft pink hair. “S-Sunoo, please…!”
He hummed against your pussy, sending vibrations straight through your core. Pulling back just enough, he smeared your slick across your folds with his tongue, deliberately letting it drip down his chin.
“God, you taste so fucking sweet,” he rasped, eyes dark as he stared up at you. “Look at this—look at how much you’re giving me already.”
He parted your folds with his thumbs, tongue flicking over your clit with merciless precision.
Your back arched off the bed, every nerve alight, and you couldn’t stop the broken pleas spilling past your lips. “Alpha, please—n-need you, I need you so bad—”
“Not yet,” he interrupted with a wicked grin, his tongue circling your entrance again, deliberately avoiding the spot you wanted most. “You’ll take what I give you.”
Then, with no warning, he pushed his tongue deeper inside you, fucking you with it as his nose rubbed against your clit.
You sobbed out his name, thighs trembling around his head as slick coated his mouth, his jaw, even dripping down onto the sheets beneath you.
He moaned into you like he couldn’t get enough, his hands keeping you wide open while he devoured you with messy, unrelenting strokes of his tongue.
“Sunoo—oh, fuck—I’m gonna—”
“Do it,” he growled against your pussy, his voice rough and commanding. “Cum for me, omega. Mark my mouth with it.”
And when his fingers slipped inside you, curling perfectly against that sensitive spot while his lips sucked your clit, you finally shattered, screaming his name as your release flooded him.
You cried out his name as waves of pleasure consumed you, your body arching off the bed. Sunoo didn’t let up until you were shaking, his tongue and fingers dragging every ounce of release from you, your slick coating his lips and chin.
When he finally pulled away, a smug smirk spread across his face, his pink hair sticking to his damp forehead.
He wiped at his mouth with the back of his hand only to lick it clean, eyes dark and hungry as he watched your trembling form.
You whined, voice breaking. “Alpha, please, I need you.”
Sunoo crawled back up your body and captured your lips in a rough kiss, forcing you to taste yourself on his tongue.
The tang of your own release spread over your mouth as he devoured you, and you couldn’t stop the moan that slipped out against him.
The sound made him groan, his hips grinding down against your thigh, letting you feel just how hard he was.
He pulled back only slightly, his forehead resting against yours, your breaths mixing.
His hand gently took yours, squeezing. “Are you sure you want this?” he asked, his voice low, gravelly, barely restrained.
You nodded eagerly, your body aching for him, craving everything he had to give. You had begged and pleaded for him to take you, and you were finally getting what you wanted.
The alpha’s lips softened into the ghost of a smile before he kissed you again—slower this time, his hand caressing your cheek as though grounding you.
“Then I’ll give you everything,” he whispered against your lips before kissing you more fiercely.
His lips never left yours as he clumsily shoved off his pants and unbuttoned shirt, the heat of his bare body radiating against your flushed skin.
His pheromones flooded the room—rum and neroli wrapping around you like smoke—making your body ache even more with need.
Sunoo’s naked body pressed against yours, every hard line of him meeting every soft curve of you. His hands roamed hungrily, possessively, over every inch of you.
You moaned into his mouth, clinging to him desperately, nails digging into his shoulders.
He pulled away just enough to position himself between your legs, the head of his cock nudging against your slick entrance. He froze, though, his gaze locking with yours
“I’m giving you one last time to think about this, omega,” he murmured, his thumb brushing tenderly over your knuckles as his other hand held yours tight. “Are you really sure about this?”
You nodded, no hesitation in your eyes, knowing that there was no one else you’d rather give yourself to in this moment. Sunoo’s lips curved into a small, almost reverent smile before lacing his fingers with yours.
With a steady exhale, he slowly pushed inside, his pace careful, almost gentle, as he filled you inch by inch.
The bond between an Alpha and an Omega was sacred—and Sunoo wanted to show you with every movement that he would honor you, claim you, and love you as his.
His thrusts started slow, careful, almost reverent, as if he was afraid of hurting you. His eyes never left yours, drinking in every expression, every gasp, every arch of your body beneath him.
You could feel the connection tightening, growing stronger with each roll of his hips, your bodies moving in perfect harmony.
“Fuck, omega… you’re way too good to me,” Sunoo whispered against your ear, his hot breath making your skin pebble with goosebumps.
You moaned in response, the sound shaky, desperate, the pleasure already beginning to coil in your stomach again.
His hands caressed every inch of your body, tracing over your waist, your breasts, down your thighs, until you were trembling beneath his touch.
“Faster,” you whimpered, nails raking down his back. “Please. I’m not gonna break if you go rough on me, Alpha.”
The pout on your lips and the pleading in your eyes destroyed the last bit of restraint he had left. Sunoo groaned low in his chest, his lips crashing against yours in a kiss full of teeth and heat.
Then his hips snapped forward—hard, fast, unrelenting.
“Ah—Sunoo!” you cried out, your voice breaking as his cock drove deeper inside you, hitting every spot that made your vision blur.
The sound of skin meeting skin filled the room, each thrust punctuated by your whimpers and the guttural growls ripping from his throat.
You wrapped your legs tightly around his waist, pulling him impossibly closer, needing him everywhere at once.
“You’re so fucking beautiful like this, (y/n),” Sunoo groaned, sweat dripping down his temple as his pace grew ruthless, primal.
“Moaning my name… taking me so good…”
Your body shook with every rough snap of his hips, the bed creaking beneath the force. His hand tangled in your hair, tugging your head back so his mouth could claim your throat, teeth scraping against sensitive skin as he pounded into you mercilessly.
Your cries filled the air, broken moans and desperate whimpers spilling freely. “Alpha—ahh, please, don’t stop—”
“God, omega,” Sunoo growled against your neck, biting at your skin, “I can’t get enough of you. I want to claim you. Make you mine.”
You could feel it—the shift in his body, his alpha instincts clawing their way to the surface, demanding to mark, to own, to bind you forever.
But instead of fear, a wave of comfort and longing washed over you.
You turned your head, lips brushing his cheek as you whispered, breathless, “I’m already yours, Alpha. And I want to be marked by you.”
His thrusts faltered for a moment, eyes widening at your words. His hand cupped your cheek gently, even as his hips kept grinding deep inside you. “(Y/N)… are you sure? You don’t have to do this for me.”
“I’m sure,” you breathed, moaning softly as you clenched around him, your walls pulsing around his cock. “I trust you completely, Sunoo.”
With a low, feral growl, he buried his face in the curve of your neck. His hips slammed into yours harder, rougher, as if preparing to seal the bond with every thrust.
Then his lips pressed over your scent gland.
The bite came sharp, possessive, his teeth sinking into your skin. You cried out, both from the pain and the overwhelming pleasure that crashed over you, your nails digging deep into his shoulders.
Tears stung your eyes as the hot rush of blood trickled down your neck, but your body convulsed around him, climax tearing through you with blinding intensity.
Sunoo’s thrusts grew erratic as he groaned against your throat, filling you completely while his mark branded you as his own.
When he finally pulled back, chest heaving, his lips were soft, apologetic as they pressed to the fresh bite.
“I’m sorry if that hurt, baby,” he whispered, brushing his thumb along your cheek.
Your lips curved into a weak but genuine smile, even as your body still trembled in his arms. “It’s okay. This… this is all I ever wanted.”
Sunoo’s eyes softened, his hand holding the back of your head tenderly as he kissed you again. “I love you so much,” he murmured, voice breaking with raw emotion.
The pain from the bite mark on your neck was quickly forgotten as Sunoo’s movements grew rougher, more intense, his Alpha instincts unleashed completely.
The bond was sealed now, his scent wrapping around you, his claim burned into your skin—and it made every thrust feel sharper, deeper, overwhelming.
“Let go, omega,” he growled, his voice dark and commanding, vibrating through your bones. “I want to hear you scream my name.”
And that’s exactly what you did. You gave in—no walls, no hesitation—your voice breaking as you cried, “Sunoo—” His name tumbled from your lips like a desperate mantra, a chant of worship for the Alpha who had claimed you, who owned you.
he continued to move, each thrust filled with passion and love for you. it was as if he was pouring all of his emotions into this one act of claiming you.
Your tears spilled freely, the intensity of the bond crashing down on you as pleasure tore through your body, raw and merciless.
Sunoo caught the tears with his lips, kissing them away feverishly between thrusts. “Mine,” he whispered against your skin, almost frantic, “all mine, baby. My omega.”
The way his cock drove into you was nothing short of brutal devotion, every snap of his hips heavy with possession and love, as if he could carve the truth of your bond into your very soul.
You felt everything—his need, his longing, his desperate relief that you were his now. And he felt you—your body trembling beneath him, clenching down around him like you were made for him alone.
The air between you grew hotter, thicker, your pheromones tangling until you couldn’t tell where you ended and he began.
It was maddening, euphoric, the mark amplifying everything until every moan, every gasp, every shudder was magnified tenfold.
“Sunoo—I can’t—ahh, I’m gonna—” you sobbed, your body breaking apart beneath the weight of your release.
You clenched around him violently as your orgasm ripped through you, your cry hoarse and tear-soaked.
Sunoo groaned deep in his chest, his thrusts faltering as he followed you over the edge.
“Fuck, omega—fuck, I’m cumming—” His hips slammed against yours one final time before he spilled deep inside you, his hot release filling you completely.
The warmth of it made you whimper, your body twitching from the overstimulation, but Sunoo’s lips never left you—pressing kisses to your neck, your jaw, your damp cheeks.
“Shh, baby, I’ve got you,” he whispered raggedly, kissing away your tears while his cock pulsed inside you, knot swelling to lock you together.
His embrace was tight, trembling, as though he couldn’t bear to let you go.
Every heartbeat, every shaky breath was shared, your bodies pressed flush as the bond thrummed between you—loud, alive, undeniable.
When the high finally broke, Sunoo collapsed beside you, pulling you against his chest immediately, his lips brushing your forehead. His voice was soft, raw with emotion.
“You are mine,” he whispered reverently, his hand stroking your hair as he held you close. “My omega.”
You smiled against his chest, your body exhausted but your heart impossibly full. “And you are my Alpha,” you whispered lovingly, your voice hoarse but steady.
The soft, golden light spilling through the open curtains gently woke you from your slumber as the morning sun began its slow ascent.
You stirred slightly, the remnants of sleep clinging to you, and instinctively shifted closer to the source of warmth beside you.
You looked up, your eyes tracing the features of the boy who had been at the center of your every thought.
Sunoo’s face, so peaceful in sleep, seemed almost boyish now, free of the guarded expressions he often wore. His lashes, longer than you remembered, rested softly against his cheeks, and the faint glow of the morning light highlighted his features.
His arm was draped lazily over your waist, his body heat contrasting the coolness of the morning air. The rise and fall of his chest brushed softly against your front.
A faint smile tugged at the corners of your lips as the familiar scent of him—his scent—that had been so intoxicating last night, was now calm; as if even his very being had been softened by the events of the night before.
You let out a quiet sigh, shifting your position so you were half-laying on him, your hand resting on his chest.
Slowly, you began running your fingers gently through his messy pink hair, marveling at how soft it felt under your touch.
You leaned down, pressing soft kisses against his cheeks. His skin was warm beneath your lips, and the steady rhythm of his chest against yours felt surreal.
Sunoo stirred at the feeling, a low hum escaping his lips as his brow furrowed slightly. He opened one eye, squinting against the soft sunlight filtering into the room.
For a moment, he seemed dazed, his gaze searching the room before landing on you. When realization dawned, his features softened, and a small, sleepy smile graced his lips.
“Good morning,” he mumbled, his voice low and husky from sleep. He let out a deep sigh, his arm tightening around your waist as he pulled you closer.
“You’re still here,” he murmured, almost to himself, as if reassuring himself that you hadn’t slipped away in the night.
You chuckled softly, brushing your thumb over his cheek. “Where else would I be?” you whispered, your voice warm and teasing.
He closed his eye again, leaning into your touch. “Nowhere,” he said with a sigh, his tone filled with a quiet kind of relief. “You belong here. Right here.”
You couldn’t help but smile at his words, the warmth in your chest growing. “I’m not going anywhere,” you teased lightly, your voice playful as you ran your fingers through his soft hair.
“Not in my own house, at least.”
His other eye cracked open at that, and he chuckled softly, his hand on your waist squeezing gently.
“Your brother’s going to have my head for ‘defiling’ his little sister,” he murmured, his voice a low, teasing growl.
You rolled your eyes, though the nervousness bubbling in your stomach made it hard to hide the faint blush creeping up your neck.
“Sunghoon doesn’t even have a clue,” you retorted, a bit of nervous laughter escaping as you pushed the thought aside.
“Not yet,” Sunoo said, his smile widening as he traced the lines of your jaw with his finger. “But you know, I can’t help but think he’s got some sort of radar for these things.”
“Please, I think you’re giving him too much credit,” you shot back, trying to keep your voice light even though the possibility of Sunghoon finding out was looming over you.
The thought of facing your brother’s wrath made your stomach flip.
Sunoo’s eyes glinted with amusement. “Right,” he said, voice dipping. “But, he’s probably still got his eye on you. Wouldn’t put it past him.”
You groaned, burying your face in his chest to hide the sudden embarrassment that surged through you. “Please don’t remind me. It’s bad enough I’ve got to deal with his protectiveness all the time.”
Sunoo chuckled, his hand gently lifting your chin so that you met his gaze again. “I’m sure he’ll get over it,” he said softly, though his tone was a little too calm for your liking.
“Eventually. But in the meantime, I’m not exactly worried.”
You moved slightly, meeting his teasing look with a small smile.
“Easy for you to say,” you mumbled, trying to push away the nerves in your stomach. “I don’t think you’ll be on his good side anytime soon.”
He leaned in, brushing his lips lightly against your forehead, his touch soft and lingering. “I’ll take my chances,” he whispered, the warmth of his breath sending a shiver through you.
Just as the moment seemed to turn into something more intimate, a loud crash broke the silence, followed by the all-too-familiar voice of Ni-ki shouting from somewhere downstairs.
“Do I look like I know?” his voice echoed, followed by the unmistakable sound of something clattering to the floor.
Then came the bark of your brother’s voice, cutting through the air authoritative, but completely incoherent.
He sounded frustrated and confused, but the words got lost in the noises of whatever had just happened.
The alpha below you immediately tensed, his body stilling as the atmosphere shifted into something more cautious. His expression hardened, his lips pressing into a thin line.
You looked down at him, your voice barely above a whisper. “Should we face them?”
Sunoo didn’t hesitate. His hand found yours, his fingers intertwining with yours, soothing you.
He looked at you protectively. “I’m your alpha now,” he said softly. “You’re mine, and you’re my responsibility. I won’t let you face this alone, not after everything.”
You let out a breath, your nerves easing a little, as you tried to steady your racing heart. “Okay,” you whispered back, your voice steady, now more than ever.
You stood up, grabbing the shirt that now hung loosely on your frame and pairing it with some pants you found scattered around. You weren’t thinking of the mess, of the clothes, of anything.
And though the reality of your brother waiting on the other side of the door was still there, the warmth of Sunoo beside you made you feel like maybe, just maybe, you could face it.
Sunoo had his pants from last night on, but he was buttoning up his blazer. You watched him for a moment, the way his focus was on you, the way he looked at you like you were the center of his world, like nothing else mattered.
“Ready?” His voice was soft, but there was intensity behind it as he pulled you flush against him, your bodies pressed together.
His warmth enveloped you completely—his chest firm against yours, his hands steady at your waist.
Before you could respond, his lips captured yours in a kiss that was anything but fleeting. It was tender and slow, yet brimming with love, as though he was trying to carve his devotion into your very being.
His hand slid up your back, pressing you closer, pulling you against him like he never wanted to let go.
You melted instantly, your heart soaring as your arms wrapped tightly around his neck, pulling him even nearer.
The world beyond the four walls of your room blurred into nothing—the noises downstairs, the looming confrontation, none of it mattered. There was only him. Only your alpha.
The kiss deepened as his thumb brushed along your jaw, his lips molding to yours in perfect synchrony, pouring every ounce of affection, promise, and longing into it.
You whimpered softly into his mouth, your fingers tangling in his messy hair, holding him as if he was your lifeline.
When you finally broke apart, it was with lips swollen, breaths uneven, and foreheads pressed together.
You let out a soft sigh, your lips parting as you whispered, “Come on, you can have more when we finish this faster.”
Your voice carried both playfulness and warmth, but the flush on your cheeks betrayed just how much you’d wanted that moment to last forever.
He pulled back just enough to meet your gaze, the grin on his face soft but full of affection. “Yes, ma’am,” he responded with a playful glint in his eyes, his smile gentle but so deeply sincere it made your heart skip a beat.
You and Sunoo descended the stairs hand in hand, the soft patter of your steps echoing through the quiet hall.
The mess from the previous night had been surprisingly cleaned up, with only a few stray cups and streamers scattered across the expanse of the hallway.
As you both walked, the sound of the argument only grew louder, the echoes of raised voices filling the air. Sunghoon’s voice rang out angrily, unmistakably tense.
“Do not tell me to calm down, Jay!” his words were heated, frustration dripping from every syllable.
“Calm your fucking balls, Sunghoon,” Jay’s voice was laced with annoyance. “(Y/N) is old enough to fend for herself.”
That only seemed to enrage Sunghoon more. “Okay, so where the fuck is she then?”
As the tension in the air became unbearable, Sunoo shifted slightly beside you. His hand tightened briefly around yours, and he shot you a quick glance—a look filled with reassurance.
It was as if he was saying, ‘I’ve got this. Trust me.’
You nodded subtly, taking a deep breath.
Then, with confidence, he stepped forward, placing himself just slightly in front of you. His voice cut through the rowdy alpha’s argument like a blade. “She’s with me.”
The room fell silent, Sunghoon’s head snapping toward the two of you. His eyes zeroed in on Sunoo, and you could see the way his jaw tensed.
His aura shifted violently, his pupils dilating until his irises darkened, fangs baring as his pureblood instincts surged. His scent hit like a wave—bitter, sour, sharp—filling the air with warning.
“You good-for-nothing alpha,” he spat, his voice shaking with anger. “What the fuck did you do?”
You instinctively stepped closer to Sunoo, but he was already ahead of you, moving with instinctive precision. His arm shot back, gently but firmly pushing you behind him, his body shielding yours completely.
His scent, though threatening to spike in response, remained carefully restrained, his chest rising a little heavier as he fought to stay level-headed. He knew if his pheromones flared, it would only worsen things—for Sunghoon, and for you.
“Stay back,” he murmured, barely audible, his tone meant for your ears only.
Sunghoon’s anger exploded as he lunged forward, his hand fisting Sunoo’s blazer collar and yanking him forward with enough force to jolt his balance.
Your heart leapt into your throat as Sunghoon’s grip tightened, his knuckles white, his other hand twitching at his side like he was ready to throw a punch. His scent soured further, dominance and fury rolling off him in waves until the entire room felt suffocating.
“You fucking traitor!” Sunghoon snarled, his voice raw and unrestrained, the sound more beast than man.
His fangs caught the light as his lips curled back, his eyes burning with a dangerous glow. He hauled Sunoo closer, the fabric of the blazer bunching in his fist, as though he could tear him apart on the spot.
But Sunoo didn’t flinch. Even with Sunghoon’s raw strength pulling him off balance, he planted his feet firmly, his expression steady.
His eyes stayed locked onto Sunghoon’s, his voice—though firmer now—remained calm. “Calm down, Sunghoon.”
“Calm down?!” Sunghoon’s voice cracked with fury, his entire body trembling with the effort of holding back violence. “You had one job, Kim! Stay away from her! She’s my sister, not some—”
“Not some what?” Sunoo cut in, his voice rising, though still controlled, still sharp with conviction.
Even with his best friend calling him by his last name, he didn’t break. “She’s not a child, and she’s certainly not yours to control.”
Sunghoon’s hand shook violently, his grip on the blazer collar pulling Sunoo close enough that their foreheads almost touched, tension crackling like static between them.
His voice cracked with rage and something else—fear, betrayal, maybe both. “I already warned you! But you didn’t fucking listen! She’s not some toy for you to play with, Sunoo! She’s my sister! My responsibility!”
Sunoo’s hands rose slowly, carefully—gripping Sunghoon’s wrist, firm but not aggressive. His composure remained intact, though you could feel the undercurrent of strain in him, the way he was balancing on the edge between protecting you and not escalating Sunghoon further.
His voice was low, speaking not just to the furious alpha but to the part of him that was still his brother, still his friend. “I didn’t betray you, Sunghoon,” he said, steady and unshaken. “Do you even hear yourself? You’re acting like I don’t care about her.”
Sunghoon’s jaw tightened, but his grip on Sunoo’s collar didn’t loosen. His chest rose and fell rapidly, anger still boiling within him.
Sunoo’s next words were softer but carried something that made them feel heavier than anything else he had said. “Do you know how long I’ve loved her?”
His voice trembled slightly. “I’ve loved her the moment you decided to leave us alone in front of the office when you got into a fist fight, Sunghoon. I’ve loved her longer than I even understood what love really meant. It’s her, it’s always been her.”
“You think I’d ever hurt her?” Sunoo continued. “You think I’d risk everything—my friendship with you, my own pride; just to ‘play’ with her?”
Sunghoon faltered, his anger replaced by confusion. “But you—” his voice cracked, his own disbelief choking the words.
Sunoo let out a bitter chuckle, shaking his head. “That I never wanted a mate?” His tone was sharp, yet there was vulnerability in it.
“Yeah, I said that. I convinced myself that I didn’t, because what was the point of wanting something I thought I couldn’t have? I thought if I ignored it, if I denied myself, it wouldn’t hurt as much.”
He looked directly into Sunghoon’s eyes.
“But no matter how hard I tried to push it down, it’s always been her, Sunghoon. Always. She’s not something I could walk away from. She’s my mate.”
Sunghoon’s grip on Sunoo’s collar loosened, his fists trembling at his sides. “You should’ve told me,” he muttered, his voice cracking, a mix of anger, hurt, and guilt evident in his tone.
Sunoo sighed, his shoulders sagging slightly. “And what would you have done, huh? Approved? Given me your blessing?” He let out a humorless laugh, shaking his head as if the idea itself was ridiculous.
“You’ve made it crystal clear for years that no one was good enough for her,” he continued, his voice quieter now, but sharper. “Least of all me.”
For a moment, he hesitated, eyes dropping to the floor as he gathered himself, the silence stretching between the two of them.
His chest rose and fell with another deep breath before he finally looked back up.
“Do you know how many times I almost told you?” Sunoo’s voice cracked faintly, and he swallowed hard, forcing the words out. “How many times the words were right there on the tip of my tongue, but I stopped myself…”
His lips pressed into a thin line as he exhaled slowly, shaking his head again. “Because I knew exactly how you’d react.”
Sunghoon clenched his jaw, “I’m not angry because you love her,” he said, his voice quieter but no less strained.
“I’m angry because I trusted you to keep her safe. And now… now it feels like you’ve crossed a line.”
Sunoo took a deep breath, his voice soft. “You don’t have to trust me right now, Sunghoon. But you can trust her. She chose me, just like I’ve chosen her. And I’ll spend the rest of my life proving to both of you that I’ll never break that trust.”
The pink-haired alpha’s gaze softened as his eyes found yours. His gaze was steady, and it gave you the courage you needed to take a step forward.
You turned to Sunghoon, your heart pounding in your chest as you met his stare.
His jaw was tight, his fists still clenched, but beneath the anger, you could see the hurt—the protective brother who just wanted what was best for you.
“I love him, Sunghoon. I really do,” you said, your voice steady despite the nervous tremble in your hands.
“This isn’t a decision I made lightly. I know what I’m doing, and I know who I’m choosing.”
Sunghoon’s eyes flicked between you and Sunoo. His shoulders stiffened, his lips pressing into a thin line, but he didn’t interrupt.
You stepped closer to him, your voice softening.
“I know you’re angry, and I get it. You’ve always looked out for me, always tried to protect me from anything that could hurt me. But Sunoo isn’t going to hurt me. He’s not just anyone, he’s everything to me.”
Sunoo moved closer, standing at your side. His hand brushed yours, a silent gesture that you leaned into instinctively. “I’m not asking for your approval right now,” Sunoo said, his tone calm.
“I know I have to earn that, and I’m willing to. But I’m not walking away from her, not now, not ever.”
Sunghoon let out a heavy breath, his hands dropping to his sides. His gaze lingered on you, the conflict in his expression cutting deeper than any angry words could.
“Do you really think he can give you everything you need?” he finally asked, his voice quieter now, tinged with vulnerability.
You nodded without hesitation. “I do. And I hope one day you’ll see it too.”
Sunghoon let out a defeated sigh, his shoulders sagging as the tension seemed to drain from his body. “This… this is going to take some time to get used to,” he admitted, his voice quieter now.
His gaze flicked to Sunoo, then back to you. “But if you’re happy, I’ll try. Just… don’t make me regret this.”
Relief washed over you, and you felt Sunoo’s hand squeeze yours gently.
You gave your brother a small, grateful smile. “Thank you, Sunghoon. That’s all I could ever ask for.”
Before anyone could say more, a loud groan broke the moment. “Thank fucking god,” Heeseung said dramatically, burying his face in his hands.
“I was not ready to explain to the hospital why I was dragging Sunoo’s dead body in.”
His mate, standing beside him, rolled her eyes and smacked his arm lightly. “Heeseung, stop being so dramatic,” she said, though the smile tugging at her lips betrayed her amusement.
Heeseung peeked through his fingers, giving her a mock-hurt expression. “I’m just saying, Sunghoon was about two seconds away from committing a crime.”
“I wasn’t going to kill him,” Sunghoon muttered, though his lips twitched, betraying the hint of a reluctant smile. “Maybe just rough him up a little.”
“Uh-huh, sure,” Jake cut in with a snort, arms crossed and a smug grin plastered on his face. “Maybe that’s why you were muttering about burying him alive earlier. Real subtle, man.”
Sunghoon shot Jake a look, his ears slightly reddening. “I was venting bullshit, okay? That doesn’t mean I was going to actually do it.”
His tone was annoyed, but the way Jake kept smirking made it clear Sunghoon wasn’t convincing anyone.
Sunoo raised his free hand in mock surrender, his other still holding yours tightly. “Okay, great, glad to know I’m not completely safe,” he said, voice light but laced with humor.
“That definitely did not make me feel better.”
Jake laughed, slapping Sunoo on the back. “Relax, man. If Sunghoon really wanted to bury you alive, you’d already be in the dirt. Guess that means he likes you more than he lets on.”
Sunghoon rolled his eyes, groaning. “Jake, shut up.”
Sunoo’s lips curved into the faintest of smiles, the kind that reached his eyes, crinkling them at the edges.
Without breaking eye contact, he raised your joined hands to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles.
The warmth of his breath against your skin sent a shiver down your spine, and your cheeks warmed under his gaze. It wasn’t just the kiss; it was the way he looked at you, like you were his entire universe.
“We’re okay,” he murmured quietly, just for you.
Jake, however, wasn’t about to let the moment pass unteased. “Aw, would you look at that?” he said, clapping his hands dramatically.
“Our boy’s gone all soft. Sunghoon, are you seeing this? He’s whipped.”
Sunghoon shot Jake a glare, but even he didn’t miss the faint smirk tugging at his lips. Sunoo, though, didn’t even bother responding this time, his focus entirely on you.
And as the chatter of the room carried on, you couldn’t help but feel like, somehow, everything was exactly as it should be.

At just 5 years old, Sunoo stumbles around the playground. Kicking the sand around and huffing as his small hands could grab anything he saw at reach. It was his first time ever being in a public school, well daycare actually. His parents unfortunately couldn’t watch him throughout the day and hence he was pushed into daycare. He remembers hearing your giggles for the first time as you had your own little fun by yourself. At that age, anything you did by yourself was way more fun than making friends. He approaches you slowly, he was a pretty sweet child who wanted to make friends but wasn’t too confident in doing so. His cheeks were round and he brought two milk yoghurt in his hands and walked towards you.
“H-Hi.” The boy says. You looked up at him and he holds out the yoghurt. He was a fairly small child and he didn’t seem scary so you smiled at him. You had pointed to the dolls on the ground.
“Wanna play ‘Family’ with the dolls?” You asked. Little Sunoo nods, you had picked up the dolls and handed him one. The male doll because well you thought because he was a boy, he’d want to play as one. Sunoo didn’t mind though, he liked playing as either one, as long as his imagination could run wild. Sunoo smiles and hands you the other yoghurt and you grab it with no hesitation. He never really played with dolls before since his older sister didn’t allow him to touch them.
“I’ll be Barbie and you can be Ken.” You told Sunoo. He nods and thus, a beautiful friendship was born.
As you both grew older, there were always talks about Sunoo as a bright and happy-go-lucky child. He never fails to smile brightly even when he hurts himself. Not a single time would anyone ever miss the way he smiles at anything, it was what made him unique. Little did they know, under those smiles, Sunoo was still human. He cried and he got angry just like everyone else. You were truly the only other person, besides his parents, who has seen him act like an actual human being and not the happy facade he always puts up. Just like currently at the age of 12, Sunoo cries in your arms after he realises he didn’t do well in his test.
“I studied hard and what was the outcome? I failed. Maybe I should just give up.” Sunoo sniffles. You held him close, letting him cry all he wanted even if your shoulders got wet. You didn’t care, he should let out his feelings.
“There is always a next time Sunoo, you can do better in the next test. This isn’t the final test after all.”
“Yeah but this will be written into my report book and-”
“And? Employers would probably look at your diploma and not a mere middle school certificate. They don’t care about it, Sunoo.”
“But what if-” You looked him straight in the eyes and held his cheeks (carefully).
“They won’t, trust me and besides, there are many other tests that are coming up and we still have like what? 6 or 7 more subjects to care about. You don’t have to worry about one stupid math subject. That doesn’t define your talents in other subjects.”
“But my mom-”
“Sunoo, she won’t care. You’ve failed Science and she just gave you a smack on the wrist and then bought you ice cream. No big deal, she still loves you. Now come on cheer up, this time I’ll buy you ice cream.” He quickly wipes his tears and sniffles.
“Ice cream?” The glint in his eyes tells you, definitely time for ice cream. On that day, Sunoo was the happiest he has ever been. An ice cream run with you and you’re paying for it, what a steal.
By the age of 15, Sunoo realised there was this weird fluttering feeling whenever he was close to you. Whether it be during cuddling or having normal conversations. It was always that weird feeling. When he finally comes to term (and maybe asking his older sister about it), he concludes that he had feelings for you. However, Sunoo knows there is no way for you to reciprocate his feelings. You’ve been friends for far too long. The labels you two have always stuck by were just best friends, childhood friends, partner-in-crime and many friendly and platonic terms. Never the ‘we like each other and want to date’ terms. For Sunoo, he felt like those labels would never change and he would slowly lose you to someone else.
He wasn’t selfish but for you, maybe he was.
“Hey Sunoo, could you possibly help me find this book somewhere on the shelf. I couldn’t find it the last time I came here with Jacob.” He tenses up. Why were you here with Jacob? He felt the jealousy build up in his bones but he chooses not to question you, he wasn’t your boyfriend, why should he care?
“Alright, I think it should be in the fiction section?” He simply says to mask his jealousy.
“Yeah.” before Sunoo stands up, you went to peck his cheek. “Thanks, Sunoo.” he felt his cheek heat up. He goes to look for your book and as he searches for it, his mind plays the scene from before. Then of course, it decides to twist his brain and create a whole other scenario. Did you and Jacob do this the day before? Did you kiss Jacob’s cheeks too? He felt the anger boiling up again and he didn’t like it one bit. Sunoo wanted to possibly find that Jacob dude and- However, he stops himself. He finds the book and goes back to you.
“Here.” He says whilst handing you the book you had wanted. You smiled at him. “I just realised I need to meet up with Jungwon. The class president is making us both do stuff again.” He says.
“Oh, I see.” He could almost see the small pout you had before you continued saying. “Good luck, hopefully she doesn’t kill you.” Sunoo nods. He grabs his things and leaves. He quickly dials for Jungwon.
“Hey, got time?” Sunoo says not letting Jungwon even say a word. Jungwon could only sigh and quickly meet up with Sunoo. Probably something important or once again another sad relationship thing he wanted to talk about.
“Yes hyung?” Jungwon says.
“Can I rant?” Sunoo pleaded.
“You came here to rant?” Jungwon looks at Sunoo in disbelief.
“Well, yes-”
“Hyung, if it’s about (name) again. Why don’t you just confront her? I mean, it seems like she also has feelings for you so just go up to her and confess.”
“No, Jungwon. You know, I can't. Me and her are just friends. She probably doesn’t even like me that way.” Sunoo whines to Jungwon. The younger male rolls his eyes, he just didn’t understand why Sunoo would be so afraid. You were a kind person and it seemed like you liked him too. Which meant, the feelings were mutual.
“Hyung, i’m so sorry but i really can’t help you.” Jungwon says. The older male sighs.
“It’s fine, I kinda expected it.” Sunoo says. The both of them went about their own day. Of course for Sunoo, his usual hangout after school would be with you. He usually would be talking a lot about what happened in the morning but today, he kept quiet. You played with his hair as he laid on your lap, it was soft and fluffy.
“Hey Sunshine, what’s wrong? You’re so quiet today.” Sunoo looks up into your eyes. Oh he has never fallen deeper into your eyes, he felt his heart race. He huffs and rolls to his side, avoiding your gaze.
“U-Umm, well I am just tired.” Sunoo says. You pout a little.
“You can go sleep in my bed if you’d like, I have to complete my project with Jacob."
“You’re gonna facetime him?” Sunoo turns back to face you.
“Mhm, he has to take care of his little sister so he can’t go out.”
“Oh okay.” Sunoo still felt that jealousy tugging at his heart strings. He wasn’t supposed to feel jealous, he should be happy for you if you start dating Jacob. Besides, it truly seemed like you had grown a liking to your project partner.
Urgh curse his stupid heart.
Hours passed by, Sunoo felt his throat itch a little. Hence, he goes to grab a cup of water, that is until he hears your giggles. He pauses and pops his head into the living room. There you were smiling at Jacob, he probably told you some lame ass joke. Sunoo felt the jealousy boiling again. He had to do something about it.
“Hey (name), have you eaten yet?” Sunoo asks you. You looked up at the boy.
“No. I haven’t, what time is it now anyways-”
“It’s 10pm.” he sighs. “You should really take care of yourself.” You pout at Sunoo’s words
“I didn’t realise.” You turned to Jacob on the screen. “Sorry, I should go. It’s getting late, and since my parents aren’t here, Sunoo is my certified babysitter.” You told Jacob, he chuckles.
“It’s fine. Take care alright?” You smiled and waved. Jacob waves back and ends the facetime, the screen goes black.
“Alright, what do you want-”
“Certified babysitter? You told Jacob that?” Sunoo sighs.
“Am I wrong though, my parents trust you and you always treat me like a child.” Sunoo folds his arms.
“Am I not more than a babysitter to you?” He asks. You tilt your head.
“I mean, other than being my ‘babysitter’, you’re my best friend?” You say, confused as to why Sunoo was reacting this way. You looked into Sunoo’s eyes, it was glossy and it seemed like there was a hint of pain or hurt but you did nothing wrong?
“Forget it, I'm gonna go home.” He grabs his backpack and leaves your house. You were left baffled and puzzled. What was going on with Sunoo? Why was he reacting this way?
The next day, Sunoo doesn’t even walk to school with you. He kicks the rocks on the ground, avoiding your gaze and anything to do with you. As soon as he entered school, he knew everyone would be concerned as to why he wasn’t his cheerful self, so he puts on a fake yet convincing smile. He passed by a bulletin board and a red and black poster caught his eyes. It seemed out of the ordinary compared to the plain posters covering it. He swiped the other posters and stared at the most prominent one.
“Heartbroken club?” he mutters under his breath. He starts to remember the events from last night and feels his heart breaking. He breathed in and out before deciding to survey as to where the classroom was. First floor and right at the entrance of school. Perfect, he could run away if he saw you.
After school, he arrived at the old classroom. He could hear students chattering inside and prepared himself to possibly meet his new friends. He almost skips towards the classroom to seem like he was fine, when clearly he wasn’t. Once he enters the classroom, a girl turns to face the door. She tilts her head a little.
“Sunoo hyung?” Jungwon says. Sunoo almost looked too lost. Jungwon never mentioned about getting hurt or ever falling in love with someone.
“Jungwon? Why are you here?” Sunoo questions.
“Why are you here?” Jungwon asks. The girl nudges at Jungwon.
“Reasons will be discussed later after we have settled in.” She reminds Jungwon. The younger boy nods.
“Alright, club president.” Jungwon turns to Sunoo. “Help us, hyung?”
“Sure! Umm what can I help with?” Sunoo asks, trying to sound enthusiastic. Wow, being happy all the time was tiring. How did he pretend to do it for years whenever he couldn’t be bothered to?
“How about following me to the store to get some art supplies, you look like someone who loves designing.” The girl asks.
“Well, you’ve got that right about me, I've helped tons of people with their interior designing!” Sunoo smiles. He reminisces about the time he helped decorate Jungwon’s bedroom. Ah the stress level that he went through because Jungwon couldn’t decide on one colour for the room.
“You helped me once, hyung.” Jungwon deadpans. Sunoo shushes Jungwon. The girl smiled at Sunoo, surely this would be a new friendship that would bloom between her and Sunoo.
The next week consisted of moving and making the classroom look appealing to other possible students who’d want to join. Sunoo spent so much time on this that he hadn’t been hanging out with you as much as before. It was weird, you didn’t like the feeling. Without Sunoo, your life felt boring. You tossed over to your side to grab your phone and call Sunoo. However, he didn't pick up and that got you all sad and worried. You tried calling again and he didn't pick up for the second time. You grabbed your phone and wore one of Sunoo’s hoodies that he left and climbed out of your window.
You walked down the street towards Sunoo’s house, his bedroom light was on. Which only solidified that he was indeed ignoring you. You went over and was about to knock on his window when you saw a girl at his home. They were smiling. You stepped back, so was this the reason he wasn’t hanging out with you that much? He found a girl?
You’ve always had a crush on Sunoo but you knew he had no feelings for you so you just kept quiet about it. You even told Jacob after he confessed his feelings for you that night when Sunoo left. You were giggling because he was making you happy just so you couldn’t overthink about Sunoo not liking you.
“He likes you for sure.” Jacob says.
“No, he doesn’t.” You say.
“Then why is he always smiling widely around you? He only shows his true smiles around you and only you. Everyone can see that, (name).”
“Jacob, I don't want to give myself hope. If he doesn’t like me, it might ruin our friendship if I confess so I won't do it.”
“Alright but did you hear? Jay sunbae is in the exact same position as you. You’re both thinking that you’re in a one-sided love. I’m surprised he hasn’t confessed yet.” You laughed. That’s when Sunoo walks in, Jacob could see the icy look Sunoo had when he stared at the both of you.
You left his house quietly and walked back home. All you could do was just walk back and possibly cry in your bed. Sunoo checks his phone and he notices the two phone calls. He calls you back but you don’t pick up this time. He was confused, you would usually answer him.
“Hey, thanks for helping me choose what to buy for the club.” The younger girl says.
“Any time, you should probably get home. Heeseung hyung will get worried.”
“Heeseung? Worried? He is out drinking right now. Every time I come home I smell that horrible alcohol stench and it’s bad.”
“Why is he drinking?” Sunoo asks curiously.
“He always drinks. Just this time, i don’t think he is drinking without a purpose. Maybe heartbroken?”
“Mmm, maybe.” Sunoo says.
The few days passed by with a breeze, both you and Sunoo have not talked in a while and everyone was starting to notice that. Gossips and rumours arose saying how maybe Sunoo finally confessed and now the friendship both you and Sunoo had was falling apart due to you not reciprocating the feelings. Obviously Sunoo heard about the rumours and so he goes to find you but you weren’t found anywhere. He checks your last seen.
Last seen yesterday at-
So you didn’t come to school today. Sunoo had to check up on you after school. He enters the club after school.
“Guys I'm sorry, I need to be somewhere today.” Sunoo apologises but nobody really minded.
“Is it because of (name) noona?” Jungwon says.
“Oh? Isn’t she your friend?” the younger girl asks.
“Yes.”
“Hope she’s okay, if she comes back to school tomorrow, she’s gonna be the talk of the whole school.”
“She’s already the talk of the whole school though.” Jake says.
“Yeah, let’s hope she’s okay.” Heeseung’s girlfriend says. Sunoo nods. He quickly bolts to your house. He only hopes that you weren’t badly sick.
As for you, you were drowning yourself in boxes of tissues, ice cream and you were wrapped up like a burrito. The best way to deal with a broken heart. The doorbell rings and since your parents weren’t home, you had to go out to open the door.
“Yes-” you looked up slightly. It was Sunoo.
“(name).”
“Aren’t you supposed to be at your club with your girlfriend?”
“Girlfriend? What? I don’t have one.”
“Oh.” Was all you could say. Sunoo sighs and enters your home.
“Go sit on the couch. I’ll cook up some soup.”
“You won’t burn down the kitchen rig-”
“(name), it’s just soup. What could go wrong?”
“Many things, Sunoo.” You say. Sunoo rolls his eyes, he goes over to the kitchen and cooks up some chicken noodle soup. He comes out with the bowl of soup and gets ready to walk somewhere else. You grabbed his arms.
“Where are you going?”
“Your room. I bet there are tons of tissues around. You were never one to throw your trash away.”
“Stay with me.” You pout.
“(name), if i don’t clean the room, you will never clean it. You’re just going to kick it aside and leave it be. At most, leave it in a plastic bag and shove it to one corner in your room.”
“I won’t, I promise.”
“We’ve been friends since we were 5, you really think I would believe that.” He gets ready to leave again.
“My bras are on my bed.” You blurt out, tightly shutting your eyes. Sunoo pauses in his steps. He felt the blush creep up on his cheeks.
“Still gonna clean. It’s just a bra.” Sunoo breathed in and went into your room. He enters your room. Messy as per usual. He doesn’t spot a bra on your bed but he does spot a book, he assumes it’s your diary. He grabs it and hides it in his bag. You’ve never told him about your diary before and surely you had something in there about Jacob.
Ah right, Jacob. That irrelevant guy that terrorised both yours and Sunoo’s friendship. Maybe, you could even call him the homewrecker. He scoffs. It took Sunoo like 30 minutes to clean up your room and once he was done. He goes out.
“Take care. I have something important that came up.”
“You’re not going to stay?” You almost pleaded with him.
“I can’t, I'm sorry.” Sunoo says before leaving your home. So he just came here to cook you up something and then leave? He doesn’t even stay to nurse you? This really was the end of your friendship with him huh.
Time skip to the next 2 weeks, Sunoo and you still have not made up and anytime you saw Sunoo, you had to bolt to the bathroom to cry your heart out. It was pathetic of you to do so but losing a friend since you were 5 was painful and the fact that he doesn’t like you too hurts even more.
“Hyung, it’s been 3 weeks since the both of you talked.” Jungwon says.
“She has Jacob, Jungwon.”
“Yeah but I don't see them hanging out anymore.”
“Okay and?” Sunoo flips through your diary. He had been reading it for 1 week now, nothing too eye-catching. This diary was from when you were 10 so there were crushes that Sunoo knew and some he didn’t know but already suspected. Jungwon just kept on lecturing to him about how he should at least talk to you, clear the misunderstanding but he doesn’t listen. Until something caught his eye,
20/4/18,
Dear diary,It’s been a while since I've collected my thoughts. Sunoo and I had a great time today. We had ice cream together, watched movies and even went to a cat cafe. The cats were so adorable. Something caught my attention though, Sunoo’s smile as he played with the cats and the way he laughed as the cats climbed on top of him. What is this feeling? Do I like him? Maybe but if i told him my feelings he would probably reject me.
He flips more pages.
24/1/19
Dear Diary,It hurts whenever Sunoo cries, i just feel like taking every pain away from him. This world is too cruel for him. Is it bad that I also want to give him a kiss? To remove the pain from him of course and also because his lips look plump. I shouldn’t think about this, he is my friend. Why did I fall for him? Note to self, do not stare at his lips.
The more Sunoo reads, the more he feels his heart clench.
“Hyung! Are you even listening?” Jungwon says. The other boys were staring at him.
“Sunoo?” The younger girl asks.
“I have to find (name).”
“Jungwon just gave you a whole lecture and you just realised that??” Jay says. Sunoo gets up and runs to find you. You didn’t have any clubs that you signed up for so certainly you were at home. Sunoo clicks on your doorbell. You went to open it and before you could get a word out. Sunoo’s lips were on yours. Your eyes widened as you feel his lips moving against yours. He pulls away.
“I love you (name).” He quickly says.
“What?”
“I love you and I want to be your boyfriend.”
“Sunoo.”
“I read your diary.” Your jaw drops at his words.
“So that’s where it went, why did you take it?”
“Well, to see if you wrote anything about Jacob."
“What about Jacob-” You paused and realised, “Sunoo, I don’t like him like that.”
“Then why do you always smile and laugh when he’s around?”
“Because he cracks jokes?”
“I crack jokes and you don’t like it.” Sunoo pouts.
“Wait, don’t tell me you’re jealous of Jacob?" You laughed.
“Is it wrong to be jealous when my crush is being flirted with by some homewrecker?”
“Sunoo, don’t call Jacob a homewrecker.”
“Oh now you’re defending him.” He wraps his arms around your waist. “Mine.” You giggled.
“Okay okay, I'm yours.”
“So I'm your boyfriend now right?”
“Yes, Sunoo.” he screams.
“FINALLY!!!” he carries you up and spins you around.
The members were finishing up rehearsals for their upcoming award show performance and Jay noticed Roza was looking paler than usual. “Hey are you okay? You don't look good.” He voiced, concerned. Roza who had been pushing through sickness, despite knowing better than to do so. She felt like her performance lately had been lacking and she didn't want her sickness making her worse, so she had been pushing herself above and beyond to make up for it.
“Yeah, I'm fine…” she whispered, avoiding eye contact with Jay. He knew better but decided not to ask further. And rehearsal went on as usual. Roza stumbled a little bit here and there but the members didn't take too much notice and they soon finished up, ready to head backstage to get ready for the award show performance later today.
Roza sat in the makeup chair getting the final touches on her face and hair before getting mic'd up. “You look bad.” Sooyoung whispered as Roza put her mic on. “I'm fine… I swear.” “You know I don't believe you.” Sooyoung sighed as Roza walked further ahead to avoid the conversation. “She is pushing herself too far,” Sunghoon said and Sooyoung nodded. “I should say something…” Heeseung hesitated and watched her weakly walk backstage. “It's too late, Oppa. we go on stage in a minute.” Sooyoung said, unsure herself. Heeseung decided to wait until the end of the performance.
The lights darkened and the members walked out on stage ready to perform. The music started and within 30 seconds Roza could feel her head pulsing from the bright lights, her body felt weak and she slightly stumbled over her feet bumping into Jake, who grabbed and helped stabilize her. Throughout the rest of the dance the members' eyes kept drifting to Roza, all cautious of her state. They continued through a couple more songs before the lights started to dim as fans cheered.
As soon as the lights were out Roza fell to her feet, hand clutched over her chest. The air fighting to get to her lunges. “Roza, are you okay?” Jungwon quickly came to her side. The members froze watching as Roza struggled to breath. Before she could get any words out Roza’s eyes rolled back and she let her body fall to the floor. Heeseung quickly catched her before she hit her head. The members quickly moved and Heeseung took her backstage, realizing they were still in view of the audience.
“Is she okay?” Niki asked concerned and the staff helped lay Roza down in the dressing room. “She is sick and lacking energy, she needs some rest and food.” The manger spoke before placing a blanket over her and grabbing a water bottle for when she wakes up. The dressing room was chaotic as all the staff were moving around trying to clear the room and make space from Roza to rest.
Sooyoung came down and sat next to Roza, stroking her hair and keeping a close eye on her. The room went quiet as they sat and waited to see if Roza would wake up. “I should have said something..” Heeseung mumbled. “Heeseung it's fine, you didn't know any better.” Sooyoung tried to help. “But I did…” Heeseung, frustrated, got up and left to cool down. “I'll go talk to him, Jay come over here.” Sooyoung said getting up to talk to heeseung, Jay taking over Sooyoung's seat.
They boys continued talking and waiting around, when Roza stirred and lifted her head confused on what had happened. “What happened?” “you fainted, you idiot.” Niki joked as Jay glared at him. “What it's true. Noona for someone so smart, it's interesting how silly you can be sometimes.” Roza laughed, not expecting less from the maknae. “Thanks for keeping it real niki.” Everyone laughed, happy Roza wasn’t too hurt. “We should probably get you home.” the manger said helping gather all of Roza’s things as she said goodbye to the members that were there. “Wait, where's Heeseung?” She looked around, not finding him anywhere. “He's a bit upset at himself for not saying anything about your condition.” Jake confessed. “But that's not his fault?” “We tried to tell him.”
“The rest of you need to change and head back out there. There are a couple more awards to be handed out.”. “Sooyoung can go back to the dorms with Roza, i'll find her and Heeseung. The rest of you change and head back out.” The manager said. The boys got changed and headed back out despite wanting to stay with Roza.
Through the remainder of the wayward show the members were fidgety and couldn't stop thinking about Roza and due to the little time Heeseung didn't get to see Roza before she left. “She was fine, Hyung.” Sunoo said reassuringly to Heeseung, whose leg was bouncing up and down. The award show soon came to an end and the boys quickly made their way backstage. “Is she okay?” Jay talked into the phone with Sooyoung. “She is fine, she looks a lot better. Come back quickly, you’ll see her then.” Jay hung up and the boys got changed and were ready in the vans to head back to the dorm.
They arrived at the dorm and all immediately went to Roza’s room. “Woah, hi…” Roza said as all seven burst through her door and just stood there. “What were you thinking?” Heeseung blurted. “You knew you were sick and still pushed yourself.” His voice shook with concern. “I know I'm sorry, I knew better.” Roza apologized knowing she shouldn't have overworked herself.
“It's okay now, you need to rest up. No more schedules if you're sick.” “but-” “no, you're off till you're better.” Jungwon argued. “Yes, now lie down, we'll bring you some food.” Jake said getting his phone out to order Roza's favorite take out. “Aren't I lucky.” Roza laughed. “Well considering everything that led up to this, i would say maybe not…” Sunoo jokes. “Yeah, maybe not.”

YOUR LIMBS FEEL HEAVY UNDER THE WATER, AND IT'S NEARING MIDNIGHT AS YOU SINK INTO THE FREEZING COLD OF IT.
Your backyard is too familiar and yet, you feel like a stranger as you wade in the large pool. You remember spending all your time in this pool, your parents having it built especially for you when you were growing up. You begged and begged and begged, your father finally caving shortly after your tenth birthday. Since then, your house became Pool Party Central every summer – until you left for college.
And you hadn't come home aside from your winter break freshman year. You came home and felt miserable; getting horrible waves of FOMO while watching your friends celebrating the new year at massive house parties while you were sitting in the living room with your parents and sipping sparkling cider.
You spent that summer telling your parents you had a job – which you didn't, you were just partying day-in and day-out with your roommates. You didn't come back for the holidays again, claiming sickness and begging them not to make the three-hour trip to bring you anything. They never asked too many questions, but you could see the waning trust in the back of your father's eyes as you faked sick during your junior year break again – only to call you a few days later and ask why there was a charge for a ticket to Jakarta on your mother's credit card.
Safe to say, you spent your winter break in your student apartment that year and cried yourself to sleep out of anger every night.
You were now free from your first year of graduate school – choosing to extend your stay on the island hours from where you used to call home. You spent holidays with friends and boyfriends, you spent summers lifeguarding at a nearby waterpark and you got an apartment all to yourself – no roommates and the ability to be as loud as you wanted.
However, you couldn't lie to yourself – you felt…lonely. You felt alone, missing the taste of your mother's home cooked meals filled with so much love and spice. You missed hearing your father's piano tunes, and singing along to whatever song he chose to play at night before dinners. You missed the comfort of the king sized bed that inhabited your bedroom upstairs, across the hall from the only guest room in the house. Your parents slept downstairs, leaving the entire upstairs to you.
You caved two days after school let out for the summer – calling your father while you wrote a check for the rent. You'd send the other two for the rest of the summer in the mail, if your parents said yes to you coming home and spending the summer with them.
He was rather nonchalant on the phone – his voice a bit bored, even, as you excitedly told him about the internship you'd scored for the following year that could potentially turn into your full time job. He reluctantly agreed to you coming down for the summer, but didn't tell you that they'd be out of the house for four weeks following your arrival.
Probably because they didn't think you were serious about coming up. You'd done this twice, your sophomore year and your senior year. You promised you'd go up for festivities, only to travel up for a graduation party, stay for three days and then tell them you were going back to campus for summer courses and your lifeguarding temp.
So when you made the drive down that following Thursday, you found yourself holding a suitcase that had enough swimsuits and skimpy clothing to last you all summer – and staring deep into the eyes of the boy that you grew up with, Kim Sunoo. His hair was growing into his eyes, dyed black and his ears sparkled with silver jewelry in the setting summer sun. You were dressed in a frumpy t-shirt and your favorite jean shorts that always rode up your thighs a bit too high.
He wasn't ever anyone you felt the need to dress up for – you'd spent your entire life watching him grow up, awkward by your side. He flirted with girls and you cringed, he got girlfriends and you gagged. You wore short skirts and he covered you with his jacket, you went on a bad date and he picked you up, swooping in to take you to ice cream after.
He'd help you sneak out, he'd taught you how to ride a bike, he'd given you the first bouquet of flowers in your entire life. He was your date to every school dance, and there was a picture of the two of you holding each other in triumph at your high school graduations. He gave you advice on guys when you'd ride your bike over to his house, and you'd complain while hanging off the side of his bed as he tried to study. He'd speed over on his skateboard if you were feeling shitty, always bringing a backpack full of snacks and always making you feel better.
Even when the girls he talked to had more to say about you than themselves, their eyes narrowed when they'd see you walking with him or even when he started driving the two of you to and from school. Like they were scared you'd take him, like they didn't understand that you and him were always and would always be platonic.
Sunoo got into Seoul National University, not even half an hour away from where your families resided and where you grew up. You got into school on Jeju Island – which was a lot more than just a hop, jump and a skip away. Your parents had been worried, but Sunoo patted your back and told you he'd try to visit as often as he could.
You could say he was something of a best friend, but really…he's just Sunoo.
Even when he suddenly made your stomach fill with a bursting of butterflies that one holiday break all those years ago – his eyes soft, and warm, and screaming I missed you. You didn't speak to him again after you dropped off his present, even making it a point to leave his house early with the excuse that your mother needed help baking the holiday cookies you would be dropping off to his family later that week. He offered to walk you home, and you quickly declined – hopping back on your bike and getting home faster than you ever had in order to dry heave over the toilet with the fear of liking the 'boy next door' for the first time in over two decades of friendship.
Sunoo never did make it down to Jeju Island with the intention of visiting you – his breaks occupied by his friends, his family, and his girlfriend, Minseo. His summers consisted of hefty internships, dance recitals, skincare dates and spa retreats.
Sunoo built his life without you in it and was content with it, only moving up and on – and you watched all of it unfold on Instagram. Trips to the island where he didn't come visit, where he kissed his girlfriend on the beach and took loads of pictures of them getting lost in the maze parks.
Until all those photos were taken down two years ago; his profile was barren of any trace of her. It was like she'd never existed, and Sunoo posted sporadically – pictures of his dog, of his friends and his older sister that taught you how to curl your hair. Pictures of food and places he visited, and last year – a happy birthday post on his story for you.
You hadn't spoken in years until that point.
"Sunoo?"
He'd eyed you – he was another person you hadn't seen since you left for college after that fateful winter break during freshman year. You'd given him a Christmas gift that year – a silver ring that sat snugly on his thumb. It made your heart lurch forward, your hand tightening around the handle of your suitcase and – more evidently – around the strap of your backpack. He'd glanced at it, before the heat of his eyes trailed over your face and he tilted his head to the side.
"Your parents aren't here."
He let you in, almost reluctantly, and explained that they had talked to his parents about your behavior over the last few years. They'd hit their breaking point when you'd dismissed their efforts at welcoming you home after graduation, your mother simply shutting the door to your bedroom and coming to terms with the fact that you were just outgrowing the pink trim of the walls and the gifted plushies on your bed from Christmases and birthdays past.
He also explained that they'd asked him to house-sit, and he was staying upstairs in the guest room. He didn't say anything about your guilty eyes, or the way you stiffened when his hand brushed your thigh as he grabbed your suitcase from next to you and hauled it upstairs.
"How long are they going to be gone?"
He told you they'd be gone until mid-July, that you were welcome to stay. He didn't care, his own parents had gone with them and all his friends were dispersed across the world – Sunghoon was in Taipei, on an internship he begged for at the last minute. Jake had gone home to Australia, Riki and Jay booked a trip to Japan to tinker around (dragging Heeseung with them) and Jungwon had gone on vacation with his family.
"They didn't invite you?"
"I turned them down when your mom asked me to take care of her plants. My parents are also on the cruise, anyway, so it's not like I had much going on."
He shrugged it off then like it was nothing, and you were now staring at the gloomy sky from your spot in the pool – full of dark rain clouds gathering as he tinkered around in the sun room behind you. You grimaced as you neared the edge of the pool, a fat drop of rain water pelting your back as you pulled yourself out. You quickly grabbed your towel, wrapping it around your waist as the rain started falling harder, splashing into the pool as you slipped into the sunroom.
Sunoo is quiet, only looking up from the record in his hand when you shut the door with a huff. You cross your arms on your chest, staring at the lighting spearing through the sky and jumping at the predictable rumble of thunder. You frown, ducking away from the door as the sound shakes the glass and grabbing the box of cigarettes off of the side table. You don't bother to say anything when he scrunches his nose as you flick your lighter, cracking the door open just an inch with your toe to let the smoke out. Taking a deep drag, you feel the cool menthol coat the back of your throat, a shiver running down your spine as you blow the smoke outside.
"Still scared of the storms, huh?"
"Just because I left, doesn't mean I changed."
"Oh, but you did." He murmurs, slipping the record into the player gingerly. He messes with the needle, dropping it carefully and the intro of Henry James' It's Been A Long, Long Time fills the sunroom. He slides into the chair that your mother usually occupies, the sunroom belonging mostly to her and her plants, her records, her occasional cigarette…a habit you wound up picking up, too.
"You've changed a lot, angel."
"Don't call me that."
You tongue your cheek as you stare back outside, a bit of nerves settling in your skin as the wind grows stronger, leaves being blown off surrounding trees as you shift your weight from foot to foot. You flick the ash off the end of your cigarette, holding it between your fingers before taking another drag, letting the smoke fill your chest as you watch the dark clouds roll above the house you once called home.
"Why didn't you ever come back?"
"Why did you go to the island with your girlfriend and not visit me?"
He sighs, and you glance over your shoulder to see his eyes glued to the monstera right behind you. He runs a hand over his face, before shaking his head.
"She wouldn't have understood."
"What is there to understand? Friendship?"
He glanced up at you, his head tilted slightly to the side as he ran his eyes down your body. His eyes stopped at your chest, the black bikini hardly doing anything to cover you as you tighten your arms around yourself.
"Minseo had known about you for a while. She saw you leave my house when you came over to give me my gift during freshman year." He speaks, his eyes averting to the glass ceiling. His eyes follow the pelting rain, fingers clasped gently in his lap before he moves his gaze back to you.
"We had a fight about it. She knew who you were because of all the pictures in my room, all the stories my mom told at dinner. She asked me what you got for me and when I showed her, she said she'd leave me if I didn't get rid of it. I never did, and she left a year later."
Your eyes flicker to the ring that was snug on his thumb, his fingers toying with it and pulling it off. He rubs his fingertip against the inside before he slips it back on, twisting it until the engraved flowers on the head face him. He runs his thumb over it, before looking up at you.
"...I'm sorry. I didn't know."
He only smiles, before standing up and taking the needle off the record. He slips it back into the cardstock case, sliding it back onto the pile your mother keeps neatly stacked on the shelf. He glances over his shoulder, speaking softly but you know he means it.
"Of course you didn't. I didn't tell you."
And for once, you don't hear the words you weren't here. I didn't tell you take their place, and you feel your heart sink at the realization that even when you know he's hurt that you never came back – that he's protecting your feelings, and keeping you safe in a glass house that people are craving to cast stones at.
He gives you a curt nod, before slipping into the main room of the house. You watch as he slinks up the stairs, his hands tugging his white t-shirt over his head just as he reaches the top. He stops to flip it right side out, your eyes running up the expanse of his back, stopping at the dip of his spine into his jeans before he takes a left turn and disappears into the upstairs level.
You sigh, grimacing at the wet feeling of your bikini as you throw your towel over the back of your mother's chair. You take one last puff of your cigarette, putting it out fully in one of the ashtrays your mother left laying around. You fumble with the strings that hold the bottom, untying them as you make your way into the house and up the stairs. Sunoo isn't in the hallway when you get up the steps – the hall bathroom door is slightly ajar and you hear the water running as you duck into your room.
The pink sheets are something you've outgrown, yes – but they're so nostalgic. They make you feel at home as you run your hands over them, loose threads that should've been clipped long ago tangling in your fingers. Plushies that get too hot at night to cuddle with strewn around the bed, your chest warming at the sight of the first one of the collection – a soft, baby blue bunny, a gift from Sunoo's mother to yours when you were born.
After all, Mrs. Kim was something of a best friend to your mother – her platonic soulmate, if you will. Just…Mrs. Kim.
Sighing, you slip into your bathroom and toss your bottoms into the empty hamper, not bothering to mess with the ties of your top as you slip the halter over the top of your head and shimmy it down your body. You kick it off, tossing it into the hamper as you make your way to the jacuzzi your mother had installed while you were away at college – one of the gifts she surprised you with when you came home for Christmas during freshman year.
You mess with the settings, making the water a smidge too hot as you toss in a healthy amount of epsom salt to soak in.
You sink in, and you think.
You think about Sunoo and the mere idea of him, and how he's always been a constant in your life. He's always been someone you can count on, someone you can trust, someone you went to when you needed help with math homework and someone who wiped your face of crumbs and smeared red pepper paste. Someone who comforted you, who bickered with you, who called you on your shit and never let anything go unless you apologized.
Sunoo…he was something of a best friend. Strong, dependable, emotional. He was something of a best friend – trustworthy, who always had an umbrella and carried spare earrings in his bag in case you forgot to put yours on in the morning before leaving for school. He was something of your best friend; gentle hands holding yours as you crossed the streets together, careful fingers fixing your twisted necklaces, warm embraces when the rumbles of thunder shook the walls of your home and he was there. He was there, snuggled next to you in your bed and rocking the two of you back and forth with soothing shushes from his lips; your face buried into his chest with ragged breaths and his fingers tangling in your hair as he pressed a kiss to your forehead.
Sunoo was there – even when he wasn't. When you wore noise-canceling headphones and hugged yourself to sleep during storms, when you found a pair of silver hoops in your purse after hopping on the bus to your lecture, when you fixed your necklaces in the mirror. He was there, always.
You wonder how easily it could be to fall back into routine with him…as if you'd never left. As if the stormy embraces were still available, as if he'd still hold you close without a second thought.
Similarly, you were there for him. He carried you with him, in everything he had – his Instagram posts proudly displayed the ring you got him for Christmas, the necklace you got him when you were sixteen and got your first paycheck from your first job. The lip balm he wore was a vanilla mint one that you introduced him to when you were in middle school, his fingernails always coated in a nice, shiny layer of clear lacquer after you started giving him manicures in grade seven. Skincare nights that turned into routine for him, watching his room get fuller and fuller of nice products in the background of his Instagram story selfies.
Sunoo spoke about you fondly, not that you had to know – the friends he made in college all knew of you; pictures, videos, stories. His family spoke about you so often, the boys wondered if you were some sort of mythical creature – one only the Kims could see, conjured out of their minds because you were never around.
Sunoo only ever said you were busy, the feeling of you being so far from him bitter on his tongue. Your name was bitter, the mention of you, the sound of your name from other people. The smell of the perfume you wore everyday, one you lost in his bedroom so many years ago that now sat on his dresser because he was too scared to give it back after years of missing you and spraying it on his pillow.
You stare at the ceiling, hearing the water in the bathroom stop just as you hear the crack of lightning across the sky. You swear you hear Sunoo make a sound that seems to need a response from you, your body instinctively humming rather loudly in response. You sigh, covering your eyes as you pull the jacuzzi plug out with your toes. You shiver slightly as the water starts to drain, leaving you exposed as you force yourself out of the tub.
The shower is fast, your hands trembling with every rumble of thunder that rolls in the sky, doing everything possible not to get your hair wet as you rinsed yourself off. You stumble out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped tightly around you, pulling random articles of clothing out of your half-filled dresser. You shoved your head through the t-shirt, ignoring the hole near the belly button as you pulled on a pair of pajama shorts you hadn't worn since high school.
"You okay in there? Storm's getting pretty bad." Sunoo knocked on your door, and you nodded – before realizing he couldn't see you. You make a noise of affirmation around your toothbrush, before hearing him walk across the hall and close his door behind him. You run a hand over your face, popping open your suitcase to fish out your headphones. They're not there, and you roll your eyes, pulling your backpack onto the bed and opening it – laptop, chargers, extra cigarettes, wallet…
No headphones.
"You're fucking kidding me." You mutter to yourself, crouching next to your suitcase and taking everything out. No headphones in sight – you slump against the side of your bed as another rumble of thunder rolls in the sky. You huff, shoving everything back in the suitcase – throwing the cigarettes onto your nightstand – and forcing yourself to get over it. You walk back into the bathroom to spit out your toothpaste, rinsing your mouth out just as the winds of terror make the windows shake.
You slide under the covers of your bed, your phone clenched in your hand as you burrow as deep as the duvet will allow. You put on a random movie, hoping to distract yourself when another crack of lightning is heard. You cover your ears with your hands, grumbling to yourself as the window rattles harder.
The wind is strong, and you hear a soft knock on your door before the unoiled hinges creak open. You pull your duvet down slightly, looking up to see a slightly amused Sunoo.
"Scoot over."
"Go back to your room."
"Don't be a brat. Move."
You scowl, about to retort when a particularly loud roll of thunder practically shakes the house. You surrender reluctantly, scooting yourself towards the wall as Sunoo slides under your duvet. Your bare leg rubs against the soft fabric of his sweatpants, and he turns on his side moving the duvet out of the way for you to inch into his chest. You glance up at him, your hands clammy as you clear your throat.
"You don't have–"
"Come on."
His brow is furrowed slightly, eyes holding a hint of sleepiness as you silently scoot into his arms. He wraps the one on the bed around your shoulders, the other sliding up your back and pulling you close. You keep your hands to yourself, feeling his hand on your shoulder gently moving your hair out of your face.
His thumb strokes the skin of your cheek, and you both remain silent as the rain only keeps pouring. He doesn't fall asleep, but his breathing is steady as he rubs soothing circles into your back – your eyes heavy as you look up at him.
"Are you mad at me?"
"Hm?"
He glances down, a quirk in his brow as a flash of lightning illuminates the room. You grimace at the murky shadows, before looking back up at him. His eyes are confused…and tired.
"Because I didn't come back. Are you mad?"
"Mmh, no."
He blinks, shifting slightly. His chin rests on the top of your head, letting out a sigh as his fingers trace figure eights into your back.
"I think…I convinced myself you wanted space. You'd come back when you were ready. I don't think it was right of you to treat your parents the way you did, but that's between you and them."
You hum in response, "I haven't told them I'm here, either. I think I became so used to them just being there without any reciprocation on my part that I forgot that they…they need to feel loved, too."
You move your head back, scooting up slightly until you can meet his eyes without straining your neck. He watches you silently, his eyes darting to the way your arms are tucked into your chest.
"I'm sorry for not visiting you, either, though. And I'm sorry about Minseo."
He shakes his head, "Don't be. What's meant to end, will. I wish her the best but I think we both knew it just wasn't going to work when she started getting upset that my mom talked about you so much. It was a little odd to see her so angry at someone who wasn't even around."
You frown, "I'm sorry. It's funny, because it wasn't until I left for college that I realized…you're kind of like…my best friend."
He snorts, "Yeah, I thought that had been established a while ago. There's only so much proximity that can be forced, angel."
Scoffing, you push his shoulder lightly. "Stop calling me that, I told you already. I'm not one of your little friends."
"I should, you're the devil incarnate. Abandoning me is a sin, you know." He huffs, before closing his eyes and sinking into your pillow. "Now go to sleep."
You peer up at him through your lashes, tracing his features in the darkness. You can make out the soft slope of his nose, the arch of his brow bone…the pillow softness of his lips.
"Stop staring at me."
"I'm not staring."
"Sleep."
You close your eyes with a sigh, limply lolling your head against his arm but you're not tired. In fact, you're almost too awake, if it's possible. Too awake, too aware of the soft jasmine of his signature scent filling your nose.
Thunder rolls overhead, making you flinch before feeling the warmth of his palm run over the small of your back. He pulls you slightly closer, lips ghosting at your hairline before pressing a soft kiss to it.
"When did you pick up smoking?" He mumbles, his nose scrunching as he pulls away. You feel your cheeks heat in embarrassment, but you clear your throat anyway.
"Uh…a while ago. I can't remember."
"Those things kill, you know. Smoking accounts for five percent of–"
"Sunoo."
He snorts tiredly, before you feel him pout on your forehead. "Your hair smells like cigarettes. I miss your shampoo."
"You can get out, you know." You scoff, pushing him away lightly before he wiggles back against you, his face buried into your hair and arms wrapped tightly around you. You pretend your heart doesn't jolt in your chest, draping your arm over his slim waist with an exaggerated sigh.
"But I've missed you so much." He murmurs, his fingers tracing circles into the back of your shirt. The thunder outside is so loud that you almost don't hear him, but you move your head back to look up at him. He peers down at you with tired eyes, almost amused at how wide awake you were. "Not tired, huh?"
"I don't think I could sleep if you paid me." You admit quietly, the wind outside stilling momentarily as you scan his face. He nods silently, pressing his forehead to yours, his lashes tickling your brows as you scrunch your nose. "You can go to sleep, if you want. I'm just gonna have a late start tomorrow."
"Or we can tire you out so you can't complain about missing prime tanning hours tomorrow." He jests, but something in his eyes is different. It makes your stomach flutter, but you nod as much as you can with his face against yours. "I usually walk around the house when I can't sleep."
"I am not getting up, I've missed this." You whisper, a warm smile crossing his lips as he lets out a soft laugh. "Don't laugh at me, I'm being vulnerable."
"Did you miss me?" He asks gently, his hand moving to trace the curve of your brow. The pads of his fingers are light against your skin, making your arms prickle with goosebumps as he nosed at your face. You swallowed hard, clearing your throat as he repeated himself. "Did you miss me, angel?"
You swear his lips brush yours as he looks into your eyes, the amber of his own darker than you'd ever seen them before. You internally curse at yourself for the way your thighs clench lightly, your mind convincing you he could feel it from the sheer proximity between you. His hand on your back slides down, cautiously circling your thigh before pulling it over his hip. You instinctively hook your leg around him, scooting impossibly closer as he gently caressed the bare skin beneath his fingers. Your words tumble out before you can think about them.
"If I say yes, will you kiss me?"
"You don't have to say anything but yes for me to kiss you."
You glance up at him through your lashes, his own glazed in hints of longing as he scans your face. His eyes linger on your lips, your heart thundering as your tongue darts out to wet your lips. He can't help but watch the motion, his hand on your leg squeezing almost too hard, but you don't care as he lets out a shaky breath. His lips brush yours again, your body jolting slightly as the air between you becomes too hot to ignore; even as your lips touch his when you finally speak.
"I missed you, Sunoo."
The kiss feels like the noise-cancellation of your headphones. The feeling of his soft lips slotted with yours feel like the world around you has melted away, the feeling of his hand on your back sliding under your shirt to soothe the urge to touch you is almost too much. His fingers are warm against your skin, but they still make your skin prickle with excitement as he kisses you like you mean something to him, more than just his friend. More than just the girl who left three-hundred miles south and never visited, leaving him to miss her as the tulips bloomed, as the monsoons flooded the streets and the frigid winds killed off any sign of natural life.
More than just the girl he longed for as the seasons changed, even if you didn't know.
His tongue licks into your mouth gently, swallowing the soft whine from your throat as you clenched around nothing. Your growing arousal was making your shorts stick to you uncomfortably as he sucked on the tip of your tongue, your hands fisting the fabric of his shirt tightly. He shifts slightly, moving his arm around your shoulders between you to hold your neck in his hand, his thumb lightly digging into your jaw as his other hand kept you still while he gave an experimental roll of his hips against you.
The feeling of his half-hard cock bumping your clit through the dampening fabric of your shorts made you suck in a breath. He smiled into the kiss, not saying anything as you tried for more, his hand on your thigh keeping you pressed tightly to him. You pull your head back slightly, away from his lips as he nips at you.
"S-Sunoo–"
"We don't have to do anything, angel. It's all up to you."
"No, please. I want it, want you." Your voice is raspy, a little desperate as your hand twisted in his shirt as he smiles softly, pressing a chaste kiss to the corner of your mouth. "Touch me, please, touch me. Anywhere."
"Anywhere I want?"
"Please, please–"
"So pretty when you beg." He teases, his hand around your throat trailing down your chest, before you feel the pad of his thumb brush over your nipple. You keen, embarrassedly pushing your chest into his hand as he laughs. He runs his thumb over the stiffened bud roughly, watching how your mouth falls open with weak sounds slipping from your throat. "Sensitive here? What if I…"
He pinches it between his fingers, the added friction of your shirt making your hips jolt against him and a choked moan that sounds almost too much like a whimper falls from your lips. His hand on your leg slides up to match the other in cupping your breasts, his fingers giving a soft squeeze before running his thumbs over your nipples. You force yourself to keep your hips still, biting down on your lip as he pulls the fabric of your shirt taut over the pebbled nubs, before seeing his head dip down slightly and feeling the heat of his warm tongue run over one. His fingers continue to roll your clothed nipple through his fingers as he sucks the other through the fabric, and you let out a loud whine as you feel his teeth pull on it gently.
He pulls back, his fingers pulling your shirt up and bunching it around your chest when you feel his lips ghosting over your skin. Your skin prickles with goosebumps as he runs one of his hands down your soft belly, before hooking his arm around your hips and giving a gentle roll of his own against you. He smiles into your skin as he hears a whiny breath, watching the way your stomach caves in slightly, the way your thigh around him tightens as he continues to grind his clothed cock against your wet shorts.
"I should make you cum just like this, maybe make you beg a little more. Shouldn't even take your clothes off, huh?"
His fingertips dip into the waistband of your shorts as he carefully wraps his lips around one of your nipples, sucking as his fingers grab a fistful of your ass. He switches from one nipple to the other, swirling his tongue expertly as he keeps a mind-rotting slow pace of his cock against your clothed clit, the fabric between you doing nothing as you soak into his sweatpants and melt into a moaning mess above him. You're so wet that it's starting to spread around your thighs and against the edge of your ass, and you feel like a plaything at his mercy, your fingers moving from his shirt to curl in the dyed tresses of his hair. You pull slightly as he sucks, feeling him moan against your skin before he drags his teeth against the bud in his mouth, only soothing it with a swirl of his tongue.
His hand in your shorts pushes the back of them down slightly as he reaches further, the tips of his fingers sliding through your drenched folds and dipping slightly into your hole. You squirm, trying to angle your hips to get them deeper but he only works them in shallowly, curling them into you before taking them out. He smears your arousal all over your folds, before slowly dragging his hand between your cheeks. He rubs the pad of his middle finger over the puckered hole tentatively, taking it away just as fast and making your cunt clench around nothing.
"Sunoo." You whine, his lips trailing up your chest. He nips at your jaw as you tug at his hair, feeling him suck in a breath before he runs his tongue along the curve of your neck. "Losing patience already, angel?"
"Fuck me." Your voice is no higher than a whisper, your hips still rocking against his as he lets out a sound of understanding. He presses a kiss under your ear, his slick fingers holding your hip as he makes his way to your lips. He teasingly runs the tip of his tongue along the seam of your pout, and you lose all sense of shame as you suck on it when he finally slides it into your mouth. His cock is painfully hard between your thighs, sweatpants wet with your arousal as you whimper into his mouth. "Want you to fuck me. Please, please…"
You trail off as his hand snakes back down between the two of you, kissing you messily as he slips his fingers beneath the waistband of your shorts. He stops rocking against you, instead circling your clit with two of his fingers and making you grind against his hand involuntarily. Your fingers tighten around his hair, a sob falling from your lips as you feel him move faster, your thighs trembling as your orgasm soaks his hand and sheets below you. You bury your face into his neck as he lets out a soft groan, toying with your clit even as you breathe heavily into his skin.
"Look at the mess you made," He murmurs, pushing your wet shorts down your thighs slightly, before pulling away from you to pull them down your legs. You kick them off, gasping when you feel his fingers curl into your hole carefully, pumping them shallowly. "Such a messy girl…should I fuck you anyway? Make you soak my cock like this, too?"
You can't help but whimper, spreading your legs further for him as he pushes you onto your back. He tuts as he curls his fingers up, his thumb tracing figure eights into your swollen clit as your thighs twitch. He leans down, kissing you too lightly as he talks to you.
"Tell me you want it, baby. I'll give it to you." He bites your lip, watching it bounce back as you chase after him. He smirks, dipping his head down and swirling his tongue around your exposed nipple once more. "Come on, let me hear you."
You open your mouth but nothing comes out except a pitiful gasp, your back arching off the bed as your second orgasm builds around his fingers. He rips his hand away just as you can taste it on the tip of your tongue, your chest heaving in deep breaths as your eyes fill with hot tears.
"Didn't hear you, baby." He shrugs, kneeling on the bed and moving backwards before spreading your thighs with his hands once more, cooing at you as he runs his fingertips through your sticky folds. He pulls his hand away, dipping it into his sweatpants as you watch with weary eyes. He makes a show of pulling his cock out, hissing as the rough fabric rubs against his angry tip. He pulls the sweatpants off, tossing them to the side before kneeling in front of your dripping cunt.
He rolls his eyes back at his own touch, biting his lip hard enough to draw blood as he smears your arousal around it; your mouth watering slightly as you move to sit up on your elbows. He grunts quietly, leaking pre-cum on your sheets as he pumps himself in front of you. You can't speak, your mouth going dry as he bucks into his hand, a shivery moan falling from his lips as he stops. He scoots closer, his hand wrapped around his shaft as he elbows his way between your thighs, tapping your clit with the head of it. You cant your hips up, his hand sliding onto your lower belly with a stern look.
"Want it…" You breathe out pathetically, your lip jutted out in a pout. You move your hips against him, your eyes watery as he tongues his cheek. "Want you. Wanna feel you, please–"
He interrupts you with a kiss to your lips as he slides his cock through your folds, his tip kissing your swollen clit repeatedly. He grunts at the way your hole clenches around nothing, before tracing it with the head slowly. You whimper, digging your nails into the plush of your thighs as you hold them to your chest for him. He pushes in lightly, his brow furrowing at the warmth he's clearly fighting. Pushing in again, he inches in slowly, eyes trained on your face – and you notice the blush coating his cheeks before he fully bottoms out, a loud moan filling the room at the delicious stretch you feel. You clench around him, making his hips buck into you and ripping a moan from your throat.
He bites down on his lip, rocking slightly as his hands move yours from your thighs, massaging the print of your fingers off. He sinks in and out shallowly, your mouth only spilling soft whines before he throws your leg over his shoulder, kissing up your calf.
“Fuck…I'm not gonna last…” He groans, his hips flush to your ass as he runs his hands up your thighs. He gives a roll of his hips, eyes fluttering shut at the warmth of your walls surrounding him, your moan muffled by your hands covering your face. He pries them away, pinning them above your head as he slots his lips to yours. He punctuates every roll of his tongue with a tight thrust of his hips, swallowing your whimpered moans of pleasure as your back arched off the mattress.
"So fucking perfect." He whispers through gritted teeth, his grip on your wrists loosening as he bullies his cock into you. He buries his face in your neck, mouthing at the skin as your choked moans fill the room. "So beautiful, baby."
Your nails dig into his shoulders through his shirt as you wrap your legs around his hips, locking your ankles at the bottom of his spine. Three words are on the tip of your tongue, but you bite them back as a hot tear spills down your face as you feel the warmth in the pit of your belly start to pool. His hand snakes down, making you gasp as he traces your clit. Your thighs tighten around him, hearing a guttural moan in your ear as you clamp down around him. You can feel his cock twitch inside you, but he staves off his own orgasm to bring you to yours.
"S-Sunoo–"
"I know, shh. I know."
He's muttering praises in your ear until you're soaking his hand again, your legs going limp as you whimper in his ear. "That's it, pretty. So good for me, right?"
"For you.." You mumble, "Want you to cum inside, too.."
"Next time, baby." He murmurs, pulling out just as he spills out, staining your sheets as you pout into his neck. "Next time, I promise."
"Mmh.." You trail off, feeling his hands massage your thighs gently. "Tired, Sun."
"Gotta clean up, pretty. Can't leave this mess, we can sleep in my room." He peppers kisses across your cheeks, but you know he's just as tired from the rasp in his voice. You peer up at him through your wet lashes, your hand moving to cradle his face. He meets your eyes, warm. Warm, and welcoming like they've always been. Holding the same adoration they've always held, even when he's mad at you.
"When is next time?"
"Whenever you want. Come on, baby. You're all sticky."
You're blinking sleepily as he slides off the bed with a chaste kiss to your lips, patting your hip as he looks for his sweatpants. He tugs them on before carefully helping you up, wrapping strong arms around your waist as he moves you off of it and onto the chair by your vanity. He cleans up your bed, tossing your sheets into the hamper in the bathroom and fumbling around for your hairbrush, reappearing in the doorway with it in his hand and an elastic around his wrist. He beelines out of the bathroom, opening your drawer and pulling out a pair of old gym shorts; he carefully slides them up your legs, biting back his smile as he sees your thighs tremble from overexertion.
"Doing okay?" He mumbles, moving to stand behind you as he swipes the brush through your hair carefully. You nod quietly, before noticing the storm outside has reduced to a light drizzle. There's no flash of lightning, no roll of thunder as you sit in the fact that you just slept with your best friend, and that you have to recognize that the feelings you've had for him your entire life aren't all that platonic.
You let him brush your hair, reaching your hand back to hold his thigh as he pulls it into the elastic, loose atop your head. He looks at you in the mirror, his eyes holding something that you're not used to in the back of them, but he says nothing as he pats your shoulders.
"Can you walk?"
"I can't even think, Sunoo."
His laughter is still warm, so warm and familiar as you let him hold you tight to his hip and hobble across the hall to his bedroom. His touch is just as comforting, but with a hint of something more as he pulls the covers back and helps you slide under them. He feels like home, no matter where you could ever go, because his hands are still soft as he interlaces your fingers. He feels like home as you feel his thumb trace shapes into the back of your hand, as you nestle yourself in the crook of his chest, as he presses a kiss on your hairline.
He feels like home, even if he doesn't know.
"I've missed you for so long. I wanted to reach out, see if you were okay. I think I let my overthinking get the best of me, because I just assumed if you wanted to hear from me…you would reach out, first." He mumbles into your hair, "I want you to be mine, even if you have to leave. I'll go wherever you want to go, whenever you want me to. Just say the word and I'll leave everything behind to be utterly and absolutely yours for the killing."
He doesn't say anything else when he realizes you're fast asleep, unaware of anything he's said. He runs a hand down your back, patting the small of it before sighing. He peers at your sleeping face, swiping his thumb under your eye.
"I'll mean it in the morning, too. Wherever you will go, pretty."

hii baby! dont even know if youre into it still because i made you wait too much for it and for that i apologize 😢 but nonetheless i LOVE rambling about hybrids so here goes nothing.. Also this is very long for no reason
cw: female reader, fox!sunoo, bunny!reader, dom!sunoo, sub!reader, primal play, kinda perv!sunoo (gasp), biting kink, degradation, dacryphillia, dumbification, breeding kink, name calling (bunny, bitch, etc), spit play? (sunoo licks her lmao), sunoo is mean (yummy), abuse of the word "bunny"
since you were little, your parents warned you about the precautions needed to take as a prey. and as a family of rabbit hybrids, you were, of course, a bunny with big, fuzzy ears on top of your head and a toothy, cute, happy smile.
you always thought this judgement your parents and all the older rabbits had towards predators was stupid. "don't go near wolves", "don't talk to lions", "bears can smell you from miles away", "never trust foxes". this is modern times, we are not savages anymore! oh, if you had just listened to their advice.
"you can't imagine how long i've been dreaming about this." said sunoo, the gentle fox hybrid that every day ordered a drink at the coffee shop you worked, now, not as gentle, as he pushes your head on the mattress and thrusts mercilessly into your pussy from behind. you'd never have imagined that the date and the shy kiss you shared at the end of your work hours would end this way.
"bunny... my bunny," he said, voice intoxicated with desire, and slowed down his movements, lowered himself to rest his bare chest against your back and slowly dragged his nose from your cheek to your neck, sniffing in your scent gland, absorbing it like a hungry man. "oh, god, your scent..." another big sniff, "always drove me crazy, bunny. did you know that?"
with your face on the mattress, you could only whine and wiggle your fluffy tail, voice muffled by the pillow, falling into the pleasure of his cock making you feel so full. sunoo laughed, his movements now at a quicker pace.
"you're so fucking innocent, baby," another laugh, his breath unsteady, going deep at you, hips doing wonders to reach your most sensitive spots. "you really thought i was just a nice guy, huh? coming everyday at your job, sitting at that table in the back... such a nice costumer, big tips too." you could hear the smirk in his voice, condescending tone, his sharp nails drawing circles on your back, gracious movements contrasting with the mess he's making of you. "the truth is, i could barely contain myself in that small cafe, bunny." his scratches would for sure be visible the next day. "so ready to please and so naive. bet you didn't even notice the way my hands would always find yours, the way i watched your movements... or did you?" you whined as he talked. "remember when i offered a bite of that brownie to you? and you sucked on the plastic spoon like a bitch in heat, hungry eyes on mine and shit?"
no verbal response from you but a clench, embarrassed to be caught red-handed. such unwise actions, bunny. a rabbit flirting with a fox? really? and you still had the audacity to think you were in control.
"fucking answer me, bitch." sunoo yanked you by your furry ears, hard enough to lift your body off the mattress, placing your back against his chest again, making you moan loudly. his movements getting faster, skin on skin noises mixing with the red-haired boy's animalistic grunts and your cries.
"s-sun, slow d-down, ple-"
"oh, bunny," he laughs. "you want me to slow down? hm?~" hand still with a firm grip on your ears, causing you to bend your neck in an almost uncomfortable position, if it wasn't for the pleasure washing over all your other emotions. "p-poor bunny, can't handle big dick? this is what you're made for, can't you even do that?" and there you were, crying, overwhelmed by the degradation and how it made your insides even more wet.
"oh, god," his hips hitting even faster now, you could feel him losing all his control. "god, f-fuck- bunny, don't do this to me~" he said, releasing your ears to grip your hips, you could only cry. turning your head sideways, you meet his foxy eyes and vertical pupils now blown out in complete insanity, seeing you cry, your most prey-like state, ears down in submission and everything, it made the predator in him fucking crazy. "bunny- b-bunny, my bunny-" he started licking your tears away, chanting your name like in a trance. "b-bunny, i'll make you m-mine, 'mmkay? will y-you let me?" he kissed your neck, stopping to paint your skin with hickeys then and there. "s-stuff you full of me, baby, knock you up real good, hm?~" his voice was whiny and loud as he bit you, sharp fangs poking at your neck, and another bite, and another, almost like trying to literally eat you alive.
"nnngh- oh, s-sunoo, s'deep, f-full." you mutter, no thoughts behind your eyes.
"shhh, baby- i know, r-right?~ don't worry, turn off your brain, l-let me do the thinking for you."
