Cheng Qianli has put on what he's sure he thinks is a wise, elderly expression. He strokes an imaginary beard. "It's okay, Linlin-ge. You're both the same people, so how can Ruan-ge prefer one over the other? He's definitely not cheating!" "How can he be cheating," Lin Qiushi grouses, "if we're not even dating?" The fake beard-stroking stops. Cheng Qianli looks at him with a struck expression. "Oh no, Linlin-ge," he says, looking as if he wants to pat Lin Qiushi pityingly, "it's even worse than I thought."

you should post about bugpreg. not because i am into arcane or your guys but because i want to see your anons try and vilify you for it somehow because it would be funny

i will probably never post the original bugpreg ask because there was more happening in it than bugpreg that i can't comment on without revealing things about myself but i do think the actual conceit of bug pregnancy is worth discussing... pregnancy horror is smth i keep coming back to in terms of arcane (which is crazy cuz that shit never happened) i feel like there r a lot of great angles in which to invoke it.

fundamentally i feel removed from most fandom pregnancy posters because To Me either it has to be horror OR they have to abort it. no one is willingly getting pregnant and keeping it in my brain. esp if its bugs man 😭 nobody want bugs

This character is Selene, the moon princess in my future MLP AU (the Sunverse) in which pony society, hundreds of years after the events of G4, struggles with finding and keeping Alicorn rulers who are capable of raising the sun. Selene was born right after Luna’s death due to the moon’s regenerative properties and its ability to wax, wane, and renew itself all over again. She is the oldest living Alicorn and the current defacto ruler of Equestria.

Meet my interpretation of batponies in the MLP universe! They more closely resemble actual bats and only come in colors real-life bats can come in (black, brown, grey, red, orange, white, or yellow). They also have cloven, incredibly mobile hooves shaped similarly to a mountain goats’, as well as insane grip strength on those hooves that allows them to cling onto ceilings and walls as long as they aren’t too smooth or featureless.

Here’s a lore important Sunriseverse AU piece! When Solarflare (the current alicorn raising the sun every day in this au) first ascended into an alicorn, the blast killed three young ponies and warped many others with its unique magical signature.

These three victims are often referred to in-universe as “the three angels” and there is a cultural phenomenon with strong religious undertones surrounding their death because they were killed by a godlike figure.

Some view the ascended alicorn, Solarflare, as vampiric in nature and assume they must have used the souls of the “angels” to power an alicorn transformation. Others, however, view the young ponies as sacrificial lambs who had to die so that the sun could rise again. Both factions are wrong, and the ponies were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Their positions during the blast are purposeful. The unicorn, used to the bright magical blasts, looks on in fascination. The pegasus, used to viewing the sun’s glare and lightning strikes from high in the sky, simply turns her head and closes her eyes. But the earth pony, who has never encountered such bright lights before, is completely turned around and covering her face.
