Okay, I'm invested into this now! So does Ogrepon!Kieran still go to the BB Academy with Carimine? What about Protag leaving back to Paldea? Does he go with them?

He does! However he’s not a trainer in this AU, it feels a little weird for him to catch and train Pokemon since he IS one lol. Unfortunately Blueberry Academy is VERY battle focused so Kieran doesn’t really feel like he fits in there. The only reason he was admitted in the first place is bc of his strong connection to Pokemon. Everyone views him as a Pokemon prodigy since he’s able to understand them and bond with them more than anyone else can. Ofc again this is because he’s a Pokemon too but none of the humans know that :’) The Pokemon can tell right away of course but all the other trainers have no idea why he’s able to connect with their Pokemon so well.

So essentially Kieran’s kind of in a “special course” at the academy and works with all the Pokemon there. Even so he’s only ever known the academy and Kitakami and he can’t help but long for adventure and to travel outside of his homeland. SO when Juliana comes along and helps resolve everything regarding his past and the Lousy Three, Kieran makes the decision to go back to Paldea with her and transfer to Uva Academy!

I don’t know how strict Blueberry Academy is but I’m going to assume Uva is definitely less restrictive about what students can do regarding the paths they want to take in life. Especially bc of the whole treasure hunt thing lol. So when Kieran hears about the academy and realizes that he can do whatever his little heart desires he gets REALLY excited to go there :’D

Octavio yawns and stretches, landing on his chaise lounge with a thunf. It seemed like forever since he’d had a moment to himself, what with all the meetings and projects and ceremonies and paperwork. Tay hadn’t really understood the gravity of being emperor some five years ago, but now that he’d taken responsibility, it seemed ever-present.

He’d finished for today, though. There had to be some balance between work and life—he couldn’t lie around all day like he used to, but he couldn’t do a 160-hour workweek either. It would be better to have a daily cut-off so he could relax without thinking about the future of the Octarian empire (inevitable), starting today.

Despite this, he decides to switch on his shellphone. It had been blowing up with messages recently, so he’d just turned it off to forget. If anyone REALLY wanted to speak with him, they should just ask in person. Scrolling through, he ignores all the ones that are definitely work related, before stopping and gazing in horror. Several missed texts from Lulu!

How long had it been since their last meet-up? He’d had all eight tentacles tied up with everything. At least she was probably busy too, what with her new ruling responsibilities, her husband—AND HER PREGNANCY?!—instead of reading through what he’s missed, he dials her number.

“Hello?! I JUST got your messages, is everything alright with you? Got time to come over?? This is a formal invitation—”

It was late at night. A gentle wind blows through the city of Splatsville and the sky sparkled with thousands of twinkling stars. The square was bustling, filled with Deep Cut's music. In the distance, however...

Dal finally heaves the last of the equipment down into the sewers, setting it up into a decently-sized corner, by the murky waters. They set up their base about three quarters of a way from Alterna's entrance; close enough to access the area easily, but far enough from being detected.

Vulture was counting the amount of provisions they had (kids got hungry after all), and then turns to the four agents. "Are you ready? We're about to begin."

Mirage nods. "Yeah, ready as we'll ever be. Cod, it smells awful down here..."

"Yeah, there's zero chance of us smelling normal ever again....that's what I keep telling you guys, but...." Sandy sniffled, both her emotions and the pungent smell making her cry. "But I guess I'm good to go."

Plat was absorbed in a text book in hand before looking up. "Oh, yeah, I'm good. Sorry, studying a little in the meantime..." He flips through a few pages.

"You know I'm good to go." Minu quickly adds. "Easy job, really. Grandma could do it in two seconds flat."

"Right...." He pulls out his phone and snaps a few quick photos of the base camp, the table with equipment, the entrance to Alterna, just a general understanding of the area via picture. He then sends the photos to T. [Hey, we're ready. When you're ready, open a portal up to here, send whoever wants to help through.]

He pauses. [....Don't worry about me, either. I'll be just fine.]

He then switches messages to Lutarna, readying a set of coordinates. [Alright Lutarna, it's revenge time. Here's the coordinates. Hop over when you're ready.]

"So....what will we do when your friends get over here?" Plat crosses his arms.

"We'll go over my plan. I know that tower inside and out. I have an entrance point in mind..."

Xingxi pops in. "Alright, Gravitational Pull is here and ready to help!"

"Thanks, Xing. I'll have you and Dal hang back, if that's alright..."

"Let me at 'em!!" Biela growled.

@sunshinelulusplatoon Selph was exploring around the Nightopia they had found themselves, it certainly wasn’t the only train Nightopia they’ve seen but this one had a whole different vibe. The train was traveling out in what seemed to be the countryside, seeming to go on forever. There also seemed to be some romantic mood lighting in the train. While they hate to be a party crasher, this kind of thing is in their DNA, perhaps spooking her would make a memorable first impression? They began looking around for the visitor who owned this place, lowkey worried about how this pink lighting wasn’t making them look very scary. Perhaps that’s for the best.

“Princess Lulu Helia Entra, heir to the Octarian Throne."

That’s the caption that I found taped onto the back. The date of the picture isn’t printed, so I'm not sure when this was taken. I was in the old archives where I used to work, scrounging around, when I found a book containing family members of the Octarian Royal Family. Funnily enough, none of the members in that book contained any of the family members from the Octarian Realm I'm familiar with, so how this wound up here is beyond me. Regardless, this seems like a fairly new photo, so someone put this in, I'm assuming without anyone's knowledge. I thought that maybe you'd like it.

I also used some body paint for her skin, she’s practically back to normal already! Just... don’t take off the hypnoshades. (2/10)
