You know, it's always struck me as kinda odd how Venom's really imposing name is actually a reference to how he had to write for gossip mags to make ends meet. Also, I really like the idea of a whip-cracking Spider-Man leering over Brock's shoulder as he's hunched over a type writer, forcing him to write mean shit about 90's celebrities. "Tell them Rick Moranis's marriage is falling apart due to his addiction to sleeping pills!!" WH-CRACK! "B-but Spider-Man, his wife died last year from cancer!" WH-CRACK!
