This is why I don’t prefer the version where Superboy is genetically related to Clark.
It totally weakens the impact of this scene. Also makes Tana’s death even more meaningless, takes away the aspect of Superboy’s powers being different than Superman’s, and let’s be honest, I tend to get attached to the first version of something I read, and this was the first version I read and it was a sweet moment. Even if I hate the art.
