The SuperGuardians are back and at it again!

My girlfriend's been working on Trading Cards for Penny's Parents, and it's motivated me to flesh out their stories. I really do need to draw these guys more often, they're all so fun and different!

I FINALLY have a storyboard for Penny the Powerless!!! I was really struggling with figuring out a direction for it to go, but everything clicked when I realized Penny could briefly turn to villainy! I guess she's like... 8? 13?? When the big events go down? (Does... does it matter how old she is???) Anyway, here's the story as-is: 

A couple of heroes and villains fight in an evil lair (apartment), but a clone machine gets activated and combines all their DNA into a single being. This being turns out to be a normal baby girl, with no powers of her own. The 4 supers decide to raise the child together. But she starts mimicking them, trying to fly and fight and other dangerous things. The parents all go out on patrol, and their child rushes to join them - but it's too dangerous for her. She's urged to stay put, as her parents all fly off to do their job. She's upset at having been left behind - and suffers from a small emotional breakdown. But her emotions take a turn, from forlorn to angry. She enters her father's workshop, and concocts something of her own - she steals one of his labcoats, some basic armor and a pair of leftover goggles, and heads out. Meanwhile, the parents on patrol notice some comeuppance - it's their DAUGHTER, going all-out evil villain! Her parents approach her, but she fires her device at a nearby building, causing an explosion. Her parents rush to help the people trapped inside, and she's given a moment to see what she's done. All the destruction, all the people she's hurt, all her parents working to save them. And she's ... terrified of herself for a moment. But her attention is drawn elsewhere - to a baby crying, directly below some unstable rubble - she rushes towards the infant, wraps them in her arms, and sprints out of the chaos as the rubble collapses behind her. She reassures the baby, but she's still scared herself. She looks at the collapsed rubble that used to be a building. her parents haven't come out yet. She begins to cry, but then - she looks up. And her tears of fear turn to tears of joy, as they all embrace.

Now these four Supers all must set aside their differences in the pursuit of a common Goal: Ensuring the safety and well-being of their newborn child.
