Clark Kent but he’s from the original era and his solar absorption also slows his aging once he gets to 25 so he ages 1 year for every 5 chronological ones and he has to leave the daily planet and his parents die and a couple decades later his best friend and the woman he could never have are both dead and he’s all alone and he can’t even bring himself to get out of bed much less go heroing most days he’s just so fucking depressed and-

AU idea: what if instead of landing in Smallville, Kansas, that pod carrying Kal-El from Krypton was delayed by a good few years until it landed instead near the grounds of Haly Circus? At the landing site, its Mary and John Grayson that find what’s inside and adopt the kid for their own since they wanted one for a while. Basically what if Richard Grayson had Superman’s powers?

How would Dick get Superman’s powers if Clark is the one inside the pod alskjdla. 

But like... if Dick had Superman’s powers then his parents wouldn’t have died, ya feel? Unless Dick had zero control of his powers at the time they fell or if there was a kryptonite freak accident that kept him from intervening. 

For Dick’s sake, I’d want him to fly because he’d find that so thrilling. On the flip side, him flying means that Kory and Donna would never carry him and I hate that.
