Okay, it's a fucking tragedy and I love it. The way they were probably close as kids to survive in that house and how their relationship surely fell apart once Sirius got sorted into Gryffindor and started rebelling against his family more directly!! It's so angsty and so... unfixable in a way. Sure, you can write a fix-it in which Regulus doesn't die or Sirius at least learns the truth about his brother's death, but I can't see the events of their childhood/teenage years unfold any differently.

I believe Regulus always loved Sirius, even after feeling betrayed and left behind when Sirius started to call James his brother —more so when the Potters took him in. I also think in the books Sirius still loved his brother despite himself. They way he talks about him to Harry is a mix of contempt, pity and reluctant love.

I'm always open to recs about fics centred on this relationship, btw. Most of the fics featuring them tend to focus more on the romantic ships.

Unpopular Opinion: He shouldn't have been forced to go through 90 percent of what he did in the book (especially calypso but thats not unpopular) and he should'nt've been so weird at ever girl he encountered and also should not have been in that weird triangle with frank and hazel

Favourite Relationship: in canon, his friendship with piper is great if severely lacking, non-canon, of course everyone who follows me knows, Valdangelo (nico and leo)

I think for Nico it'd likely taste sweet, a little bit like la florentine torrone candy but not quite, reminiscent of a past he can't quite recall

for Will, I think it would taste like his abuelitas floutas, spicy and savory and like family.

for Leo, I think it would be a Kurig Hot Cocoa, not quite a rich cocoa that most kids grew up on but rather the drink that he would make those nights he and his mom would stay late at the shop

It's a very dark brown and while this week I like it last week I wanted to dye it pink but it would ruin my hair to get it light enough for that to even be a chance... I think a dark blue that could be confused for black would be cool!
