I’m so annoyed that they made Cas weaker in the later seasons. They had him constantly being beat up every time he went at an enemy. I’m currently watching a scene where Mary seems to be getting more licks in than Cas did.

Personally, I think the WB hated that they were made to bring Cas back and found ways to punish his character for it.

He was a warrior angel who led his own battalion. Wings weren’t what made him a good fighter. He kicked ass in that barn fight when Zachariah had Dean and Sam writhing in pain.

It just really pisses me off that post S7 they have him constantly getting his ass handed to him.
