🛁 - taking a bath together, with Supernova, please?
Hehehe cute...
You could feel Supernova's purring right now because of how hard it was. You sat with your back against his chest while he slowly cleaned you. All of his touches were light, as if he was scared to accidentally hurt you! It was, honestly, sort of cute... his claws have long since been washed of the blood that used to stain them, but even so, he still acted as if they were weapons.
He was the one who suggested that you two take a bath together. He said that he wanted to be close to you.
The water was hot, with steam coming off of it. He liked hot water because of how cold he was. He nuzzles his skull into your neck, making sure to be careful of the sharp edges of the hole in his skull. "Soft..." He gave your legs soft squeezes as he spoke, which made you laugh. "I think anyone would be soft compared to you," you tell him, nuzzling back. Supernova lets out a soft growl, which you knew wasn't one of anger. It made you laugh, and the growl quickly turned into louder purring.
He loved hearing you laugh.
"How long are you going to focus on my legs?" you decide to ask, and you feel him shrug. Guess you were going to be in here for a while.
"Give the stars a break, you're making them jealous." With Supernova please?
This was cute! I had a lot of fun.
Sometimes when Supernova was upset or bothered or overwhelmed, he would go outside and sit in the grass and stare up at the sky.
Yeah, he couldn’t see anymore, but he could still feel the wind and try to remember what the stars looked like. It was... getting harder and harder to remember.
He hated it.
He hated that he couldn’t see the stars anymore, they were beautiful and used to make him so happy. It was one of the few things that would make him feel better while hunting the humans.
Then Undyne attacked him and... he didn’t want to think about this anymore.
Today he was sitting on the ground, his fingers dug into the ground lost in thought. He was listening to everything that was going on, listening to the creatures that were moving around. A frog was croaking and there might be some birds? He knew that he could hear crickets.
"Give the stars a break, you’re making them jealous." he heard and footsteps that were coming closer. He knew that voice, it was Y/n, his datemate.
He turns his head to where he could tell they were. The warmth they gave off was exploding off of them.
“Wh...at?” he croaks. He shuts his mouth right afterwards, trying not to show his annoyance. He hated how he had a hard time talking at times.
“You’re too pretty compared to them” they scoot closer, nuzzling up against him. Their skin was soft compared to his bones, their warmth was almost burning compared to his own coldness.
That makes him let out a little snort of laughter, shaking his head at them and leans his head over to rest against their own, letting out a little sigh.
“You wanna talk about what’s on your mind?” They ask, reaching up to start to scratch the top of his skull, making sure to be careful with him. It was sweet of them...
“Not really” he mumbles, nuzzling a little into their hand. “Tha...nk you” he breathes out, relaxing against them. Everything wasn’t the worst if he had his datemate still.
Black stain with Supernova please?
I went a little far with this one, but I really like how it turned out! I think it's fun.
The word count is 916 words.
Supernova used to look at the black stain on his ribs often. He thought it was funny, what kinda person would just... press up against him? He figured that they most likely would be running and they would just bump into him on accident.
But then the accident happened, and Supernova couldn't see anymore. He tried to remember where the spots were, tried his best to remember exactly where the markings ended on his bones but... he forgot it sometimes.
The head damage caused by that stupid FISH Pisces made it so he couldn't see and sometimes he forgot things. He hated it. He hated it so much.
How the hell was he supposed to live without being able to see?
It took a while for him to get used to it, and to the hunting, but he grew different ways to figure out how to hunt and how to get food for himself and his brother... and he didn't regret a single thing that he did.
Sometimes you had to do things that you didn't want to do. That didn't mean that he was a bad guy, if anything, he thought that everyone else was.
The other monsters... they were a pain in the ass.
At least Supernova doesn't have to deal with them too often.
The ship that they lived in was huge and only Supernova and Sunspot stayed in it. Humans came into it often, whenever they crashed or wanted to explore. Humans were a little stupid with how curious they were. It often got them killed.
Supernova traveled through the vents, clicking with his teeth and he could hear their footsteps against the metal. He often caught them before too long... he would pull them up into the vents with him and their blood would drip down. Other times he would drop down and kill them down there.
The hallways were most likely covered in blood and whatever else humans had in their squishy bodies, but hey, oh well! Supernova couldn't see it.
He could hear it though.
Their screams, the way the blood fell to the floor... the gross squish sounds that his claws made whenever he cut through their bodies.
He remembered all of that.
The feeling was... strange.
They were all so warm against his ice cold body, and the splash of warmth when their blood splattered against him? It was kind of weirdly comforting. Like a blanket. But then it would start to dry and it felt gross.
He didn't want to do it, but he knew that he needed to. If they left then they wouldn't have any food but also they would most likely tell others what they saw and then more humans would come.
It sounds like a good thing, but if there are too many at once, it could be dangerous for them. He didn't want to deal with that kinda stuff.
But this time? It was different.
He could hear the person's footsteps across the metal, hear their shaky breaths in that strange outfit that they were wearing. They were talking, saying stuff into whatever they were recording with. That wasn't a good thing, was it? He climbs along the vent, listening to them talk. At least they had a nice voice...
It was calming and warm. Even if they sounded terrified. Their fear leaked into their voice like blood staining your clothing. Something that you couldn't stop once it started. Supernova wondered, what did they look like? Did they show their fear or were they trying to hide it? Nobody else was around, but some humans seemed to hate showing their fear. Sometimes they would try to attack him whenever he caught them.
They would claw at his bones, screech out threats that he knew that they couldn't do. Begging for their lives... It hurt his head sometimes if he had to be honest. He shakes his head to get his mind off that and noticed that the footsteps seemed to have stopped. He kept moving, his movements getting faster. He knew that they could hear it.
The human's footsteps started up again, but Supernova was faster and he drops down onto the floor. He felt their body clash against his own, and he reaches up grabbing their arms so they wouldn't be able to run, but he stops.
What was... what was that warm feeling spreading through his chest?
The human screamed and was struggling against his grip but he tightens it.
They didn't relax or anything, he could hear their breath going crazy and their heart was beating so fast.
"Y-You're... You're my soulmate?" they whisper out.
Oh.
Oh no.
He tilts his head one way, then the other, making those clicking sounds with his teeth again. That explained the warmth but... shit.
He taps his fingers against their arms, still holding onto them then he scoops them up off of the ground and starts to hurry through the hallways. He was able to hold them in one of his arms, scampering down the hallway quickly.
If they were his soulmate, then he needed to hide them. Nobody could see them, they needed to leave. They had to get out of here.
He felt guilty, he felt... selfish.
He should kill them, and get food for everyone. He shouldn't feel this stupid attachment already! Yet he... he couldn't stop it.
Didn't he deserve something?
He deserved to be happy for the first time in so long!
He deserved this.
❛ you have something beautiful inside of you. it’s hard for some people to tell, but it’s there. ❜ with Supernova please?
Someone is bullying Supernova >:(
You found out today that people had been bullying Supernova.
Well… not bullying, more just messing with him, which was a lot like bullying. You were told that they were blowing whistles really close to him so it would set off something in his mind that said danger, and he would try to reach out for them but they would jump back, out of the way, and laugh.
If he did get too close they would most likely go and tell someone that 'the big scary monster tried to attack them!' and people have been… talking.
Supernova is dangerous! He shouldn't be here. Monsters were bad, just look at that one, he tried to attack my son who wasn't doing anything.
So, lately, he hadn't been leaving the house as often, or at all. He didn't even come out to spend time with you anymore. That's why you first started to ask around to see what the hell was going on.
How could those people treat Supernova like that? He was so sweet, and people are trying to push him to hurt them just so they could whine and complain.
After yelling at the parents and the children, you walked to Supernova's house to try to talk to him, see if you could figure out what was wrong with him… even if you had an idea already.
You walk over to his house, and reach up, knocking on the door. You could hear faint sounds coming from inside, then it opens. Supernova lets out a little murr of sound, sniffing at the air.
"Y/n" he mumbles. Was it a greeting, or was it him saying who he smelled? His scnse of smell was the strongest out of anyone that you've ever met. It was one of the ways that he found people while searching for them, as well as good hearing, you know?
He was a hunter who's eyes got taken from him.
"W…What are you doing here?" He asks. You knew that he was normally really nervous to talk to people, so the ones that were bullying him most likely set him back a lot. It took you forever to even get him into the idea of going out in the first place!
"I came to check on you… I heard what happened"
He lets out a sound of annoyance at that, turning his head away and mumbles under his breath, walking back farther into his house. He left the door open so you could come in, which you did.
"do you want to talk about it?" You ask. He shook his head, tracing his fingers against the couch to walk around, and sits down crossing his arms over his chest. He seemed pretty bothered by this, it was a little hard to tell but… you knew that he was.
You sigh and walk over, sitting down beside him and you reach over, taking his hand into your own. You were careful not to cut yourself cause you knew that he would totally blame himself.
"You have something beautiful inside of you. it’s hard for some people to tell, but it’s there." You say, squeezing his hand softly. "You need to remember that people like that, they're just mean. They don't care about your feelings but other people do"
He listens to you talk, slowly holding your hand back, and lets out a little purr that just grew louder the longer you spoke and he leans over to give you a little nuzzle, making sure to be careful to not hurt you on accident.
Later the two of you recorded what the children were doing, and showed their parents, and the children got in trouble! Some of the parents even cooked Supernova and Sunspot something as a sorry gift.
Oh I'd love the "Don't cry, you don't have to hide your feelings, I feel the same" prompt with Supernova.
I hope this one turned out okay!
I got really worried, as while I was writing it I slowly started to get... fog brain
After everything that Supernova had been through, love was at a low level of things he really looked for. That didn't mean that he didn't like the idea of love, and being loved, just he wasn't LOOKING for it. Matter of fact, he really liked the idea! Would anyone ever want to date him though, was the big thing?
He was a giant skeleton that used to kill people while they were up in space. Of course he didn't regret doing that, he knew that his brother, and others, needed to eat. Annoyingly, it was only him and his brother really left anymore after how long they were up there. There might have been other monsters, just not ones that he saw.
He didn't really try to find them though.
He was happy just being with his brother, and ever since Undyne attacked him and broke his skull, and blinded him, he would rather it just be him and his brother.
Until they got back to earth.
When they got back to earth, you could assume just how shocked he was. Half of him wanted to go back to space, go back to attacking humans that came in, killing them, as that's what he knew.
Yet, you know, he couldn't do that. His brother wouldn't come back with him, and as much as he wanted to disagree, he couldn't stop himself from agreeing that he didn't really want to go back up there. On earth, he could eat and not have to hurt anyone anymore.
It was annoying to know that humans stare at him, just because they think he couldn't see. They're right, he couldn't see them, however, he was a hunter, and he could feel it when people stare at him.
He could sense them, and it annoyed him so much more than he ever wanted to admit. Why did they think it was okay to stare at him, just because he couldn't see them?
It made him want to lash out, yell at them to stop staring! He hated it when people stared at him! It made him uncomfortable, he was a hunter he wasn't supposed to be seen.
The humans should be happy that he isn't killing all of them... whenever he starts to think like that, he shakes his head to try to calm himself down. He can't let himself lose control again. He's trying his best to stay calm, and nice, so his brother would be safe and healthy.
Plus... he met someone.
Their name was Y/n, and he really liked them.
They were kind to him, and would help him out whenever he needed it, at the same time, not making it seem like he wasn't able to do things himself.
Nova knew that he could do things himself, they all knew.
His sharp fingers weren't there for no reason, the sharp teeth weren't there for no reason, and the unnerving feeling that most felt when he was around wasn't there for no reason.
They were there, due to the fact that he needed them to hunt. They started to change after the surge of magic that started to happen after they all agreed to start eating humans instead of just killing them. Leaving their souls, which then would spread the magic around. It turned them, for the lack of a better word, monstrous.
Now, back to Y/n, he and they were supposed to be spending time together today. He was, for the first time in a long time, excited to leave his house.
For a long time after they got on the ground, he didn't want to leave his house or the garden, normally spending his time inside or in the garden listening to the sounds of creatures around him.
They liked him, for some reason. Birds would often fly over to sit on his shoulders, and animals would tug against their owners trying to get over to him, he knew given the fact that he could hear their sounds.
He was sitting on the grass in front of his house, waiting for Y/n. Every so often he would make a clicking sound to 'see' what was around him, and he could feel the sharp nails of the birds that were resting on him. He didn't mind, it was nice to not be alone, he guessed. Sometimes he thought about eating them, though was able to stop himself because they were friends.
Friends...
Right now, since he was sitting on the ground, the tips of his fingers were dug into the ground, and he could feel the grass tickling his bones. The dirt was warm, soaking up the sun rays. He liked the sun, stars and night time was much better though... he was sad he wasn't going to be able to see them anymore. Ugh, it was all that fishes fault.
Before he could feel too much anger, and before he could do anything about it, he heard footsteps. Familiar ones, at least, and he heard Y/n say "Nova!" and the footsteps getting closer.
They were running over. He perks up when he heard the sound, causing him to dig his fingers more into the ground but breathes out to calm himself. down. Okay, he's fine, it was just them... no reason to feel nervous when it was just your friend coming over to see you, he said to himself in his mind.
"Hey" he mumbles, nodding his head in greeting, hearing the birds take off flying away because of their loud voice. He didn't mind, he cared for them more than he cared for the birds. They would come back later, most likely. "Happy you're here" He never really stuttered when he spoke, sometimes he would pause not exactly remembering the right word to use, or he would get nervous and stop, or sometimes he would stutter if he got too embarrassed.
It was much too easy to embarrass him, he remembered that that was how he used to be when he was younger. Embarrassing, honestly.
"Aw thanks, I'm happy you're here too" they laugh, and he felt them hug onto one of his arms. It was loose, in case he needed to pull away, he bet. That's good... hugs were nice, they really were, though sometimes they made him feel uncomfortable, mostly if they're too tight. Like he couldn't get away. That's when he normally got violent.
He didn't want to hurt Y/n.
He leans into the hug, letting out a soft purring sound just loud enough for them both to hear. He could only smell them, nobody else was here.
Good.
"What... are we going to be doing today?" he asks, keeping his voice soft. It had been such a long time since he really needed to talk a lot, which was one of the reasons on why he didn't speak way too much in the first part. After a while he got used to it, and he was happy he did. Y/n was such a nice person.
They started to talk about their plans for today, taking him out to get food then them going for a walk in the park! Wouldn't that be fun, they said, sounding so excited and happy.
"mhm" he pushes himself to get up off of the ground, and they grab onto his sleeve, starting to walk with him, which he follows with because he kind of had to.
Of course he could easily pull away.
He didn't want to.
"So, Nova," they started, "how was your day? Do anything fun?"
That gets a small shrug of his shoulders. He didn't do anything that... wasn't fun? He mostly just sat in the garden that his brother created and played with the birds, found a worm... ate a worm.
Throughout the time of them spending time together, Y/n would talk, and Nova would give the best answers that he could. He's still trying his best to get used to speaking to people and not just... climbing through vents and listening. He would make the random clicks to 'see' the area around them unless there were too many people. Then he would get a little overwhelmed.
Too much sound wasn't good for him.
After all of that, they sat together under a tree that was in the park.
It was coldish, he could feel it on his bones. In the grass where his hands were resting.
He couldn't really hear anything else around them, so it was most likely just them in the park together.
They were sitting in a nice silence... at least, that's what he thought it was, until he could hear small sniffles.
He pauses, feeling confused "What?" He mumbles and turns his head to where Y/n was and slowly reaches out, touching their arm. "Y/n?"
He felt them flinch away, and they clear their throat "Oh Nova I... um I-I'm fine"
They weren't fine, were they? Why were they crying? He frowns "Why are you crying?" He asks, his voice holding more worry than he even first expected. Did something happen while they were out? Did they get hurt? He didn't think so, he would have smelled their blood.
"I..." they started, then they sigh and lay their head down against their knees, the only reason he knew was because he could feel the movement. "I really like you and... a-and I was going to tell you today, but I can't" they groan, hiding their face and keep talking "I'm an idiot, I'm sorry"
Hearing that shocked him! Y/n liked him? THEY liked HIM? Why? They could do so much better! He knew that they could, they should know that they could as well. He slowly moves his hand from their arm, placing it down onto the floor. "D...Don't cry" he starts, and leans over, leaning against them a little "You don't have to hid...hide your feelings I um... I feel the same" he nuzzles his skull against their head.
Were they blushing? Were they happy? He got his answer pretty quickly when he felt them kiss his cheek. He got a deep blue blush on his cheeks that had light speckles, kind of like stars, and he turns his head away. As if that would hide his embarrassment. Hearing their soft laughter, showed that no, it really did not... he didn't mind. He liked them laughing more than crying.
