I'm honestly really glad that Bonney hasn't turned into her adult form even once since the conclusion of Egghead, and I hope it will stay that way. I'm glad that she's just chilling on Franky's shoulders without any fear because she knows there's nothing to worry about. At the end of the day, she's just a little kid who had to pretend to be a grownup for too long, but there's no need for that anymore. Her dad is safe and will be repaired, and she's surrounded by strong adults who are effortlessly taking the situation under control.

She finally gets to be just a child, and that in itself is part of her freedom, too. The freedom of a carefree childhood.
