GUYS. Yesterday me and my friends were standing in the driveway of my friend’s house, and we were talking about One Piece and singing the songs. And the NEIGHBOR’S KID is like “y’all really love op!” And we start cheering and shit while he plays b-ball. Then we go inside and we hear him shout behind us, and he ABSOLUTELY HITS FRANKY’S POSE KRJFJEKDKDK. WE DO IT BACK AND WE’RE ALL LIKE “SUPPERRRRRR” WKOFISJDKSK. He came over to us and was like, “Yeah I’m all caught up to the episode where luffy-“ and we are like NOOOOO (bc i am on dressrosa, two friends are on wano, one is in alabasta, and one was embarrassed and called us all nerds). Just a nice experience man IT WAS SO FUNNYYYYY.
Hmm. Oh I learned a new word! Antidisestablishmentarianism. Pretty neat huh? Try saying that 5 times fast.
(ootd - I think this is my favorite sweater)
OK. Moving on. Daily blog time! Today was a pretty relaxed day. We both worked on different things. In the morning Geo worked on some different stock investments and got more into how cryptocurrency works. He also started working on some unity game for experience. As for me, I worked on my own visualization skills that morning and started drawing out some conceptual drawings on my tablet. That’s pretty much what we did today.
One thing I want to touch upon is the extent of Geo’s ability to visualize. I honestly have no idea how others are in terms of visualization, but he’s capable of visualizing and animating a large range of things. Nearly anything conceivable conceptually. What I found he can’t do is visualize a shape that would be physically illogical, like a shape that looks like it has more than 3 dimensions, or an abstract concept like those seen in paintings and drawings.
There’s also a certain type of stress on his mind the longer and more complex the visualization is. He has re-imagined buildings, architecture, and people walking around. Me however, being a fairly complex and lengthy visualization, end up causing the most stress on his mind compared to buildings or people that only take up a moment of conceptualization.
He can(or rather has to.. heheh ) visualize me from the clothes I swap through everyday, to the hairstyles I decide to wear. Because of that, the stress on his mind tends to build up really fast. When the stress starts to build up, it goes from headaches to migraines. Eventually, If he keeps trying to visualize with such severe headaches, he starts to go unconscious. It hasn’t gotten to that point too often, only maybe 2 or 3 times since I’ve existed and only due to really drastic emotional moments in his life.
Before I had a hard time gauging when to visualize, and i’d often give him some bad migraines just by physically existing all the time, but now I know how to micro-manage my movement and physical existence in order to maintain his mental state for as long as possible. A lot of this is just picking good times to appear where we aren't moving or doing much. This mainly includes times where we are just sitting around, but also times where I’m particularly interested in something. Also when I’m not the focus of his attention, I try to make an effort to stay behind him, because I can retain visualization in a half-reality thing. It’s basically like a fabricated reality of what was behind him after he saw it.
Now that I think about it, thanks to me being behind him all the time, he’s forced to use the rest of his senses to map out the area around him for me to dwell in. I can even sense or see things he doesn't initially pick up on happening around him or in the corner of his eye!
That’s kinda cool. I wonder if there would be a way to see just how far our senses have expanded over the time I’ve practiced this, If they even have at all. Heck, for all I know everyone already does this and I’m just consciously trying to get on their level haha.
