Today at work I came across this. I managed to successfully resist the temptation but it reminded me of a few weeks ago when I was in London.

At that time, my dad was looking after a house while the inhabitants were away on holiday. Being the good sons, my brother and I offered to go and just check all was well and the letters were stacked neatly on the table. We unlocked the door and entered. That’s when one of those bouncing ball toys (like in the above picture) captured my eye. I jumped on and bounced around the house. Oh what a lovely time it was. We did the rest of our obligations and were out of the house and on our way home. That’s when it hit me, that bouncy ball was left in a different place. If the family are observant upon their return they would notice that it is out of place… Luckily they would have no idea it was me. Instead I can barely imagine their faces when they reach the conclusion that my 75 year old father was bouncing around on their child’s toy while supposedly house-sitting.
