Green Envelope Grocery Aid: mutual aid directly to those affected by the WGA strike
[Image ID: A graphic with a pale green background. At the top in bold font it reads, "HAVE YOU BEEN AFFECTED BY THE WGA STRIKE? Then in smaller typewriter font it says, "Green Envelope Grocery Aid is here to help!" In a pale purple bubble, typewriter font says, "We provide $100 in grocery assistance through a mutual aid fund" - and to the side it reads "Now open to all industry members!" Above the text, there is a round stamp-like logo with a grocery shopping cart that says "Green Envelope Grocery Aid est 2023."
There are two QR codes in the bottom corners. The left hand side says "Green Envelope Grocery Aid @ Joelle-Garfinkel" with an arrow pointing to it that says "Scan to Donate!" To the right, a QR code labeled "Scan to Apply for Aid!" end ID.]

Guidance for NEU support staff. Please read and share widely.
Please note even though you are not on strike you don't have to cross the picket.
I really hate the time of my job and that it feels like the kids don't like me cause they barely interact with me except school mornings (and I'm sure many know how those are), plus I barely know the other staff cause I work an 11 hour night shift by myself twice a week. But when one of the little kids comes up to me wanting a hug as they head out the door, or tell me they like me cause they can talk to me, or like tonight when a homesick kid grabbed my arm and squeezed it close in his sleep cause he wanted someone close. It feels a bit better and I'm hoping I'm adding just a bit of good to these kids' lives.
The White House support staff should go on strike.
The people who maintain the White House from day to day should quit working until Donald Trump is gone. Let the narcissistic anti-American white billionaire answer his own calls at the switchboard, prepare his own unhealthy meals, drive himself to MAGA terrorist rallies, and scrub his own toilet.
Get Trump and his crime family to move out of the the free government public housing provided by taxpayers. Make him get at least physically out of the White House and out of Washington. He can cause less trouble at Mar-a-Lago -- even if he’s somehow still president.
If Trump fires the strikers, Biden would almost certainly reinstate them on the 20th at noon. Money to pay for the strikers’ living expenses while on strike could easily be raised online.
The White House support workers suffered disproportionately from COVID-19 after Trump’s infamous Rose Garden superspreader event in late September. These are mostly people of color who Trump probably has little regard for. They need to end the abuse shown to them by their soon-to-be former boss.
The sight of White House workers picketing in front of the White House would be a fitting public repudiation of the Trump presidency as it limps into its final days.
I have a bow too! I am practicing my aim every day! Was Fergel good with a bow too like you?
He could handle a bow, but he preferred his staff. Fergel’s more of a melee fighter than I am. I slightly prefer my bow to my swords, but Fergel’s all staff all the time.
and as my second you could say he’s my
support staff
