Newbie to Gunpla here. I have this tool set from a recent Gundam Base event and was wondering, which is better for Gunpla sanding: sticks or glass files, etc.? Especially when it comes to nub marks. I'm looking on Amazon and don't want to get too expensive with it.
I just finished my first entry-grade with Strike Gundam and just started on Gunplakun as shown here. Currently, I have another entry-grade, a SD grade, and quite a few high grades, so any info would be helpful as well. YouTube seems to only show so much.
Any other name recommendations? Cause the only thing that comes close is the metal file that came with the kit shown in the pic. Trying not to be to expensive since I only have so much and did a rather shoddy job on the shoulders of Gunplakun that is only covered up so much by a blue sharpie (Think I may have unintentionally rushed it or something).
day 23/100
did quite a bit of integration and i think ive gotten a lot better (will grind more to maintain the edge)
ordered my candles hehe
couldnt find christmas eve coca but got movie night cocoa instead so all's good
spent half a day on cleaning my desk and filing worksheets (shall post tmr)
the files are so thick and scary wtf
almost dented my toe with one of them
went to drop my uncle off at the airport, got hot chocolate + blueberry waffles (not pictured cuz i nomed nomed it)
~2 hours 49 min on ypt~
handfilling today just to see what its like, if i can do it more often, etc
just as an alternative to the belt sander's constant light burns and slippery cooling
i kind of like it?? its so much more peaceful than a power tool. and enjoyable. i wish it didn't take 4x as long tho 😩
